I'm reviewing on Google because I more less found them through google. My experience was beyond pleasant my lawyer and her assistant were very prompt in communication which kept me at ease. They were informative when I didn't understand something or had questions, very resourceful people I never felt insecure that they couldn't manage something that would come up along the way to our final court date. When in the end they were able to get me a reasonable settlement outside of a full huge trial date. While heading to work one morning in March 2015, my car ran off the road just off Steeles Avenue in Toronto, and the impact was severe. Horrible law firm literally just stole my money. Gave them almost a year to do there work and upon coming to the due date they made up a phoney confrontation and said sorry we have to drop you. I ask well i cant force you to take the case but I want to see what you work youve done in the year year youve had my case. Got ready and I went down waited almost and hour and they were there typing up and printing out my file. I go to look at it and all they literally done is taken all of the documents I and myself have brought to them, my medical documents, put them into apa format or whatever and stapled it to together and given it to me. If thats not bad enough my 8000 dollar retainer I gave them I get back a little over 4 grand. Thank you Neistein couldnt even open up with another lawyer because they wasted so much time.

Relieved to be seen at the law firm so quickly after my vehicle accident. I feel that the process was explained to me fairly clearly when I sat with Michael.
Bonus: the freebies that I was handed on my way out...a beautiful glass water bottle, a little tin of mints (that were VERY good), and a notepad. I'm sure I got a pen too. All very nice.
This was my first time engaging lawyers in a MVA lawsuit so I have nothing to compare this particular experience to, but I can say that I feel a little surprised at the lack of communication between me and the law firm. Felt strange to leave their office and not have further discussion initiated by the firm for over a year (which is probably normal). I didn't mind really, just thought it was odd.
I had an issue with an OT of a prominent firm in Toronto that the law firm had recommended to me. I had to go back to Neinstein to try to resolve the issue and had the misfortune to have to deal with a temporary secretary covering a maternity leave who wasn't (understandably) very well organized or up on the procedure of dealing with an OT firm. Had to keep calling back but eventually got the issue resolved.
Near the end of the two year time frame I spoke to Michael again who explained the exit procedure to end my suit and again I felt that everything was explained sufficiently.
Overall, I don't know really what was happening behind the scenes. I guess these law suits are relatively simple and straight forward but the firms all take such a huge chunk of the settlement $ and I can't say that it seemed great value.
I would definitely go back to Neinstein for their services. If I ever need a lawyer again.

I called them and explained my case in the hopes of setting up an appointment for a free consultation to decide on the best course of action for a negligent driving lawsuit after being in a not-at-fault car accident where my car suffered a total loss. I was turned away, albeit courteously.

In my time of need, they told me to call the Law Society of Ontario's Referral Line to seek suggestions for other law firms to handle my case. I guess the amount of my outward bodily harm was not sufficient to elicit the high $$$ lawsuit needed for them to care about helping me with my case. Word of caution: if you are not seriously injured in a car accident, they may turn you away as they did me.

Jeff and his team did a great job. They helped me with recovery after an accident and they've managed my case in the best way possible. True blessing for me and my family. Since the first day I knew I was in good help cuz they've supported me all way through.
