On December 5, 2004 on my way home from work my vehicle left the road and struck a tree. I was flown to St. Michael's Hospital where I was in a coma for a month. I suffered from severe head injury resulting in total memory loss i.e. could not remember anything of my past and I was blinded in my left eye.

My parents normally spend December in Florida, they did not that year. Instead they spent December living at a hotel in Toronto and visiting me every day at St. Michael's Hospital. The nurses told my parents to obtain a lawyer. My parents were reluctant at first but they finally interviewed a few Lawyers. All of these lawyers said there are no legal issues that they could assist them with.

My mother was looking through the Yellow Pages and saw Neinstein and Associates listing and for some reason pointed out to my father who called and made an appointment.
They talked with Greg Neinstein and he said that he'd look into any legal issues but they should just go back to the hospital and be with me.

Greg ensured that my Insurance Company paid for all my treatments and personal service workers. He also made sure that they paid me their highest amount of buyout. All of this was done without my parents having to deal with the insurance company.

Greg also hired a number of specialists to review my accident.
Greg prepared an outstanding case against the Township.
In Mediation, Greg and his team made the Townships Lawyers realize that they were very well prepared for Court. The Township's lawyers offered me the maximum amount of money that they were pre-approved to.

Greg was very inquisitive about knowing all the factors that may effect my case. He is extremely hard-working and a perfectionists, which are two amazing qualities to have.
More importantly Greg is very compassionate.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Awful, awful, awful. I met with the name partner, Gary Neinstein, and another female lawyer for a consultation. I relayed the details of my accident and in the midst of me telling them my situation, Gary began peppering me with questions, which is fine except for the fact that he grew increasingly rude and then mocked me if I gave answers that didn't satisfy him. I understand that old cranky men are often just that, but Gary insulted me and looked to the other female lawyer, mocked my answer, questioned my intelligence and made fun of my credentials. In the roughly 10-12 min conversation, he also managed to swear and curse while speaking to me-- incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary, especially considering that the meeting took place in front of the front lobby and within earshot of other clients. The lady seemed completely impatient and impressed upon me the feeling that I was eating into her busy day. Terrible, rude service. I was so shocked. They treated me with very little respect. Not something you'd expect from a lawyer, but then again this is personal injury law. They suggested that I come back for a follow-up meeting if my medical condition worsened. I certainly did not go back and I have no intention of doing so.

My family had a rewarding experience of working with Duncan Embury and Pinta McGuire on a medical negligence claim. Duncan and his team were simply marvelous through out the whole process. The claim went to trail and their presentation before the Judge and Jury was awesome. The Jury ruled in our favour in what I believed to be the first case won by a Plaintiff in this type of claim.
The knowledge and professionalism that is etched in the attitude of the Neinstein team is exceptional and their caring is no less.

The best Law firm we ve ever had!

I just want to take this moment to express and share my gratitude to Greg, Yasmine, and their team for such an incredible service they provided to my mom and our family.
My mother was in No-Fault car accident and was Air-lifted to Sunny brook hospital in 2011. In the hospital she spent amount of time in ICU and medical needs due to her injuries (broken bones, loss memory, and many painful surgeries). Our family has had no clue whether she would survive yet we were hopeful and blessed to have a high spirited mother (who was the bread winner to our family) who fought for every pain and managed to survived!

With no knowledge regarding law firm we hired a lawyer to help us get through our journey yet it took us 5 years to realize that we hired the wrong lawyer who was not able to assist our family s needs and my mom s case especially that we felt it was going nowhere. I had a car accident where I fractured my collar bone and was admitted to hospital. The injury was so severe that a week later I was admitted to hospital again to have surgery to restore my collar bone, as mush as possible.

My Story:
My father had a horrific car accident 4 years ago. As anyone can imagine - my mom and I were distraught and weren't exactly sure what is going to happen.. All we cared about was my dad's health as well as his recovery.
