The best view in Times Square. I had an awesome time. Drinks were pretty good and the atmosphere is what I loved.
The best view in Times Square. I had an awesome time. Drinks were pretty good and the atmosphere is what I loved.
Very good hotel right in the middle of Times Square!
worst hotel. The service is fine, but we got double charged after we left and I have to call many times to reslove it. After almost a year, the hotel made another reservation for us without our permission and told us they cannot cancel it. Speechless......
Love, love loved this hotel! It was a beautiful hotel, great (huge) room and bathroom. The staff was over the top friendly and helpful! Great location if you are doing Broadway...walk to everywhere! Amazing!
Beautiful building, old style thats why a bit out of place and time amongst modern ones around.
An excellent choice for dinner, drinks, lunch, a place to stay, you can't go wrong.
Fantastic location. Inside you would never know you are on Times Square. The noise canceling in the rooms is phenomenal. Rooms are updated and clean. Staff is very helpful. Worth the spend.
Will have to knock it down a couple of stars. Tried to book again, only to find out they now charge the dreaded "resort fee"
Lovely hotel, awesome location and the staff there are really friendly. We went for Christmas last year and we were made to feel very welcome, all the staff seemed to be just high on life which resonated with everyone staying there. New York is such a special place but at Christmas its 100x better.
Super hotel!!!! Beds are comfy, clean, staff are superb!!
Best hotel in the city...come visit them and feel the excitement! I bet you won't want to leave...
Our room at another hotel was given away and they became fully booked. We walked by The Knickerbocker and they made the process simple and gave us an amazing room with great view of Times Square!
the room was great we got a two queen bed room. the beds were very comfortable. we had a room on the 16th floor and couldn't hear the city at all. room was nice, modern. my only complaint would be that nearly half of the channels on the TV were unwatchable due to poor signal. other than that amazing room and hotel and I definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone
What an amazing view! Obviously well known for there rooftop but most importantly the bar tender was sensational. He delivered excellent cocktails and provided us with the most exceptional service. Thank you for an incredible evening.
Expensive, but every food and drink we indulged in was very good. The rooftop is also a great spot to savour a drink or bite to eat.
too expensive they put in room beside elevator so it s so noisy there and no view
The Knickerbocker Hotel is a must stay for any one that wants to experience the best of Times Square. Service and staff second to none! The rooftop bar is New York at its finest. I only wish we would have booked another night.
Great service, very close to Times Square, wonderful modern room.
The room was nice but shower had lots of mold on the shower wand. They also did not provide toys or children's amenities as described on their website. Also there was no newspaper app as noted on their website. People kept asking about our stay but no one would address these issues.
Nice rooftop bar, great for a view of time square at night.
Drinks took an age to arrive considering how quiet the bar was.
Fast internet. But breakfast is really small. Really small.
Great hotel in a great location. Good and friendly service, quiet and comfortable room, roof top bar great. Will go back again.
Great hospitality, rooms are neat and well furnished
Bar and restaurant in a well-located high-end hotel adjoining Times Square. Despite the hectic neighborhood, it is possible, if expensive, to have a quiet conversation over a drink here. Have not eaten here, so can not comment on the food. One exotic item: the Knickerbocker claims that the venerable Martini cocktail was invented there.
Roomy and bed is super comfortable. Clean and in the heart of Times Square but cant hear the hustle and bustle of the city.
Great hotel, overall experience was great. The Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooftop bar has a great view and the drinks were good. It's NYC, so expect a decent bar tab for a few drinks.
I loved the historical feel of the Knickerbocker. The staff was very nice and the place was incredibly clean. I will definitely come back
A real home from home. Very good sound proofing. Excellent staff at breakfast and very honest room maids. A special mention for Shannon, Gania and housemaid Arua.
Nice place. A little pricy just like every place in Manhattan.
Salmon Benedict was amazing, rich and flavorful. Excellent service. Traditional eggs Benedict was a bit bland. I think the Canadian bacon could use some help.
Service was awful. Rooms are super small. Not a 5 star hotel.... not sure how it is in that category. Misses the mark
All was well above excellent...except for the rooftop bar not being open on Sat night!
Also, the hotel driver, Nicholas Theofanis was more than perfect. Many thanks to him.
Fantastic hotel right on Times Square. Restaurant a little overpriced and menu restricted.
Went to the rooftop bar. OK however surrounded by much higher buildings and couldn't see over the edge, so didn't feel like a rooftop. Outdoor bar is a more accurate description! 18% service was already added to our bill which was poor as we didn't get service at our table, we had to get our drinks from the bar each time. Outside seating is nice but inside is ordinary.
Went for dining at roof top .. the view was amazing but service was horrible .. they made us wait 1 hr for food and another one hour for dessert..
Clean modern rooms with lots of nice touches... in room tablets, large flat screen TVs, remote control blinds, etc...
Very good hotel, facilities in very good condition, good service and excellent location in the heart of Times Square !!
Initially gave 4 now reducing to 1. I see three charges for the room on my card in pending. No, its not for anything else, its for the same room same visit. I am sure it will fix itself but it's blocking my credit limit and may impact my credit score. The room prices aren't cheap guys. I get it it's new york but why would you not charge the corporate card. Service was good and Room was also good. Also you have the access to rooftop with good view.
Wow, spectacular. Best hotel Ive ever stayed in hands down. The service was excellent, housekeeping was so attentive and everything was just perfect. Ive stayed in other hotels in this price range and none were near as enjoyable.
Went here last night for drinks, met the former NBA basketball player Larry Johnson, who he is a curator, The drinks were moderately priced, considered how high-end the new rooftop lounge is, St Cloud. The view of the Ball Drop at One Times Square is pretty impressive.
Location, location, location! We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine, and were amazed to see how beautiful the room looked. We will be definetly coming back!
Wonderful hotel staff that make you stay very pleasant good breakfast the waitress lla nothing Luzi a charm see her first thing in the morning at breakfast all perfect advise this hotel vividly
Wall could be more soundproof. Otherwise, it's very clean and the location is perfect.
Fell victim to surprise charges like never before. Ended up paying almost $100 more than advertised price. Bait and switch. I imagine they couldn't care less about my review, seeing as how they are located in the center of Times Square and will succeed based solely on location. Room was nice, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth over the hidden fees/charges.
Got drinks with a friend at the rooftop bar. Pretty great view!
What an awesome hotel this was! We were upgraded to a junior corner suite which was very spacious and relaxing - I enjoyed the modern style of the room and the washroom setup, very efficient if there are a few people staying with you! (you can shower while someone else can use the toilet, both have sliding doors) the tablet was a very nice touch however I didn't find myself using it much since there is free WiFi in the room. Also, free water/soft drinks. It's these little details that can make or break your stay at a hotel - definitely a step above the usual chains. The only drawback: the view. Unfortunately I had the worst view I could ever imagine, some sort of alleyway with a building not even 2 meters away. But that's alright, being in Times Square you'll only be in the room to sleep!
Great location, rooms are spacious and decor is very nice, simple but elegant
Great central location. A modern vibrant hotel with every amenity you would expect from a top hotel. When I encountered a problem, the reception and room service teams were there to help. The speed of service and ensuring their clients were happy, was paramount and I can't praise them enough. A fantastic level of service, which should be the benchmark.
We have stayed here before and enjoy staying here. They could improve by updating carpet in rooms and common areas. They are stained or buckled. Picture is of carpet right on side of bed. Staff is always kind. If you want a view make sure you ask or you will be staring at just concrete/brick walls. If you like hustle and bustle, it a great location. Cute rooftop bar (picture).
This is my 5th year staying at the Knickerbocker Hotel. Past years I would say that I could give them a 5 review. This year though has been the worst yet. Room was nice and love the doormen. Ordered room service and my cart was still in there the whole day and they even cleaned my room. How can you not remove the cart from our room? Also, so disappointed in the roof top bar. Home of the martini and they couldn t even do that right. How can you sell cigars and not have a cigar cutter? Bar closes at 12 on a Friday. Is this New York, the city that doesn t sleep....
Just not a great experience this time around and for spending $2100 for 2 night I want an amazing time.
Verynice and very old hotel.. clean place, friendly professional staff.. I had some sliders and couple of beers which were both very good.. only disappointment was the bar was a little sticky and could of used a wipe down.. that turns me off but I'll give it another shot cause I do like the place.. also has a good atmosphere
Amazing staff. The front desk was very accommodating the second we walked into the door. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in New York. Paula thank you for your hospitality!
Great room, awesome bathroom, impeccable service. Location is in the middle of everything but the rooms are surprisingly tranquil and quiet. Pricing is competitive. You won't be disappointed!
Had a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel with the family. It s spacious, modern, and clean. Staff are professional and attentive. Would stay again.
Affiliated to LHW located between Times Square and Bryant Park and near Times Square-42nd subway station, this hotel is located in a historic building totally renovated inside where there are spacious rooms finely furnished in a modern style. On the fourth floor is the Charlie Palmer at the Knick restaurant which serves breakfast at dinner while at the rooftop is the bar with a spectacular view of Times Square. Good housekeeping service, restaurant service a little slow.
The room was not as they put it. For 4 * it is a bit short. The bathroom had a column in the middle that was very uncomfortable to move around. The terrace above is beautiful but the service is fatal, they are saturated, lack staff and do not have many of the drinks that appear in the menu
A lovely hotel in a truly fab location for a visit to Manhattan.
Not great views from the room, but that's made up with the view from the roof
The hotel booked us a room for four people (2 kids) with only a king bed. They then charged an undisclosed cot fee of $75 per night for a little cot.
For the heavy price of the room itself plus all the fees and tax this was insult in injury. The front desk promised to credit the here but did not.
The hotel is in the heart of midtown. The employers are very nice. The rooms are clean enough but very small and a bit dated. The restaurant is not of good quality. The food was plain. Absolutely nothing special.
Only visited the rooftop bar, which was really awesome.
Cool place for work happy hour! Very busy thought so service was a little slow
Good for hanging out at the rooftop, not recommended for stay
Fantastic hotel, best stocked mini bar I have seen, dressing gowns and slippers too. Really central but room very quiet, perfect place to see New York from.
