I love the restaurants here! I love the atmosphere of this more than century old building. I have stayed here several times between moves and recommend it along with a couple of other fine hotels in Toronto when visitors ask. The staff are well trained and very professional. The rooms are gorgeous!

Attended a wedding here. The hall was very nice, everything was elegant. Dinner was very good. Took a long time between the ceremony and the reception to get the room turned over, very large pillars in the middle of the room.

A beautiful "grand" hotel of Toronto, a century old but newly renovated. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with high quality linens. Service is excellent. Location is central to so many activities in the downtown (St. Lawrence Market, Rogers Stadium, The Aquarium, etc.). This our second stay at this beautiful historic hotel and it does not disappoint. Highly recommended.

High tea is wonderful. The atmosphere is very professional and elegant. The tea selection is great, and the food tastes amazing even though it comes in tiny portions. Prices are extremely expensive, but of course that is what you would expect from these elegant places. Service can be slow at times, but the waiters/waitresses are very polite.

Love love love this hotel. From the moment you are greeted, to the spacious and well-appointed rooms, to the friendly housekeepers and special birthday surprises, I just love going back to the King Eddy. We even got eye masks, slippers, and the most luxurious robes I've experienced. The staff really seems to enjoy working there since they have friendly attitudes and it makes all the difference.

The room was okay...the staff was somewhat friendly. A lot of issues with the wifi access. Not as advertised. When it came time to checkout, we were pretty much held hostage due to technical difficulties . For such a luxuary hotel they seemingly have a lot of issues. This is probably our first and last visit.

Beautiful Hotel & very regal. Stepping into first class. Bartender Ernez was exceptional with his service & personality in the Resto/Bar.
Very professional & polite. Excellence all around!

I highly recommend their Christmas dinner buffet. It's a bit pricey but well worth the money if you are going to do it especially if you go with your or your loved ones. Everything is fresh and the dessert table is my favourite as it has many things to choose from. It's been a annual tradition for the past three years because they put a lot of work into making it very decorative.

From check in to check out, staff was friendly and delivered service with a smile. Room was plenty spacious, very clean and a pleasure to come back to after touring the city. Location was great for site seeing and getting around Toronto. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed my stay here on Feb 16, 2019. Me and my sister had a massage at the spa and the service was excellent. They fit us in at the last minute which was greatly appreciated as it was my sister's birthday. The room was spacious and clean. A big thank you to YoungMi who made my sister's Birthday stay memorable!

Excellent hotel. Great location - close to train station and to theater. Got excellent advice about theater from concierge. Front desk staff very helpful. Was attending a conference, and had excellent meals.

Having photographed many weddings here over the years, The King Edward is a wonderful place to get married: the food is amazing, the rooms are great, the hotel has so much to offer photographically. We've also stayed at the hotel and it is a luxurious stay. Highly recommended on all fronts.

Fabulous renovations of this hotel. It has been a few years since I have stayed here. They have fully renovated since then. Everything is great. Really enjoyed my stay, aside from a 3:30am fire alarm, which is beyond their control. I will definitely be back. Loved everything especially the amazing location!

Such a beautiful hotel! Awesome location in the heart of the city with walking distance to shopping, restaurants, transit and so much more! Our room was beautiful...we had made requests beforehand, and all of these were met! Staff is very professional, friendly and courteous! Can't wait to return!

Rooms are nice, but fall short of being worth the high prices. Everything looks nice in the surface, but rickety faucets, plasticky finishes and generally cheap quality of everything beyond the lobby result in an unsatisfying experience.

Good hotel located in the heart of the financial district. I was part of a larger group staying at the Omni King Edward hotel. The location is excellence and the staff was always very nice and helpful. Internet was very easy to set up and speed was stable most.

The room sizes varied for each of us for some reason but they were spotless and the beds are very soft and have 5 pillows.

The breakfast buffet and some catered events were not great for the price. I recommend to choose other locations. There are many great restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.

We stayed at King Eddie 2 years ago for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay.
I am not sure how many stars it has,but I'd guess it's a 4-star place.
Service was excellent. Our room was nice, though not very new. I bet everything was quite lux 10-15 years ago,but now looks a bit outdated.
Breakfast was lovely.

Hotel was beautifully renovated. We were at 7th floor facing the tram line/King Street. We could hear distant train noise at night. I was using ear plug to sleep as I am a light sleeper. But my partner was able to sleep. Room to room sound insulation was very good. Large space with two queen size beds. Stayed for 3 nights.

Parts of the room and bathroom were dusty: TV area, blow dryer, clothes hangers/ towel rack, and tissue tin box area. I am generally sensitive with cleanliness and dust as I was with my little one. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. The cleaning ladies were very good. We had daily room service. They were polite and acknowledged us at the hallway. One of them even wished us a pleasant holiday. Supervisor was polite and came to ask if they can clean at our convenient time.

Safe deposit box didn t work but this was addressed fast and efficient by the hotel staff. Check in and Check out staff were pleasant to deal with. During check out and afterwards they also apologized for the safe deposit not working.

We have Gold status and they didn t acknowledged with the complimentary drinks voucher which we later found out on our last day. And we had to ask for them. Didn t really matter for me. But it helped to have milk for breakfast for my little one. The drinks were delivered on time and lovely to enjoy during our last stay.

So overall I feel it is a 4/5 given very attentive staff. The hotel has minor things to improve but overall a pleasant experience with staff. Sleep could be better but nothing they can do to the noise at the street.

Quite impressed with the overall appearance of the hotel, staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I will likely return for my birthday and hopefully a suite with a plunge pool is available :)

I would never personally stay there, but take other much better options in Toronto

Considering HR lack of anything it speaks a lot about hotel
I had interview there, but guy could really care less. He made it 2 min long not asking anything about position. He was just can you come next week. As you d imagine never heard from him. What a surprise

This place should not be contacting candidates if they are not actually hiring. Why call someone 2 times to set interviews. Let me guess he had to interview bunch for records to show he s doing job???

The room is very spacious. There are bathrobes, but no slippers, and they would not interfere on the carpet. It is not known who went there before you. The building is very beautiful inside, you feel like visiting the king . Paintings depicting crowned heads from floor to ceiling. Restaurant prices are going wild. It was the most expensive lunch for a week in Canada. Those. minus is that food and drinks will have to look outside the hotel. Plus I will call the friendliness of the staff.

The Omni King Edward Hotel in Toronto is indeed a royal experience. The word "classy" can be applied to everything this hotel stands for. Every time we think of Toronto, we think of the "King Eddy." We are frequent visitors to Toronto and regard this hotel as the ONLY hotel in the city. Great service, great accommodations, great food, great everything! Who could ask for anything more?

This was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is very handy to the Theatre District, which is why we chose it, as well as restaurants and other attractions. It also has a nice, cosy little bar.

Not up to par for the hotel reviews I read. The room we checked into had a stunning view of the interior hotel where I immediately noticed two individuals performing intercourse. Would not return after this visit.

We were in town for a Blue Jays weekend. The location of the hotel meant we could walk everywhere (Eaton Centre, Hockey Hall of Fame, Roger Centre) including to restaurants. We had the deluxe room with two Queen beds. It was huge. It had a large bathroom and walk in closet. I was able to easily dress in the closet and sneak out for an early morning coffee without waking the rest of the family. A family friendly room for sure! No bathtub but a large shower area where you can easily clean the little ones. A great stay!
