Most welcoming staff! They made our wedding anniversary memorable. They even sent us chocolate dipped strawberries and a lovely note on the day. The room was spaciously beautiful as well as the downtown view of Toronto. Very centrally located, next to a tube stop and walking distance to many sites.

We celebrated my birthday in Toronto this year - this hotel was just the icing on the cake, it is in the perfect location, the rooms are large and elegant, very classy hotel! The staff was very friendly and went the extra mile to give directions and recommendations. We had club access and the food, beverages and access and view of the city was phenomenal! We will stay again.

We had a Christmas themed High Tea, and it was fantastic. The selection of high end tea was large, and the sandwiches and desserts were very delicious. The waiter was attentive and thoroughly explained all the selections.

This is a older hotel. The lobby looks amazing. Everything was clean and the bed linens seemed new. The staff was extremely nice. They have some type of restaurant and shop but we didn't use either. Nice large windows. My only complaints is the panels over the shower are odd looking and sadly they do charge for Wifi access (roughly $15 a day). But they also provide free internet via a LAN line. I turned my laptop into a hotspot so my phone could use the data. I will be returning but I do wish they would include the wifi. I can go to a cheaper hotel and get this included for free.

I was a member of a social group of 80+ members who used the Omni King Edward as our host hotel for a pleasurable visit to Toronto, and the choice of hotel was great - easy access to down town, - a well kept and maintained hotel with nice public spaces and facilities for group dining and events. My room was spacious and overall I was pleased with our social Director's choice of hotel.

Loved our stay at the Omni Hotel! It was absolutely breathtaking and gorgeous. We got the Stay and Discover pass so we got breakfast and the two tickets to see the ROM. We loved it and we loved our room. The breakfast was really good. The bathrooms were soooo nice and everyone was very professional and nice. We loved our stay! I will forever be staying at the Omni!

I was in town for a business meeting and we were very happy we selected the Omni King Eddy. The location is perfect for my Bay street meeting and there are plenty of eating options near by if you want to venture out. But the food at the hotel is excellent . I would stay there again on my next visit to Toronto

We stayed here as a family for 7 nights from July 1st to July 8th. It started out well with the check in process was smooth and efficient

Before I describe our experiences, I want to mention that it is good to have the loyalty rewards program before your stay so you get free "Deluxe Internet" and 2 beverages delivered to your room which is a good benefit.

I also would recommend other breakfast restaurants within walking distance such as "Sunset Grill" for affordable and quality breakfast option instead of shelling out $29 for breakfast at the Victoria restaurant.

Room:
We had deluxe King Bed and we had requested. We requested Mini Fridge which was placed in our room before our arrival and we had requested high floor which was also obliged. The Room was well furnished but we noticed that there is no Privacy lock in the Bathroom. The lights in the room are also inadequate creating several dark spots. There are lights on the nightstands and the table but there are no ceiling lights in the room which is odd.

Amenities:

We had major problem with the WIFI as it keeps on dropping every few minutes and our call Phone data was getting used which is not ideal as it costs extra for people coming from USA where the cell phone carriers like Verizon has 0.5 GB/day data cap on Travel Pass. So it did hurt us when we were in room and our Cell Phone data was being utilized.

Service: The service is pretty good especially the Housekeeping and the restaurant/bar - Consort bar where we ate one night. We didn't use the Victoria restaurant for breakfast or afternoon tea.

We did had trouble with one front desk person - Roxanne who was rude every time we spoke with her regarding questions we had.
Also we heard open berating and mocking of the valet/front door attendant by the staff manager in front of the hotel guests including myself on Saturday July 6th at around 7:15-7:30 pm. This is not something we are used to USA an open chiding of its staff in front of the hotel guests, so we were surprised by the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the hotel.

We also were asked to do 6 day check out and than 1 extra night separately for some reason, I have never heard of this but it seems OMNI's system losses the Credit card information after 6 days which is very strange and would like to have been notified upon check in.

Overall it was a pleasant stay in a central downtown setting. It's certainly not walking distance to CN tower, aquarium and there are quite a few panhandlers around the street corners here so not the safest setting to be walking especially at night.

By far, the best hotel we've ever stayed. The hotel is very clean and smells good. Decors and interior designs were very sophisticated. Elegant and fancy. It is expensive but worth it. We were there for a week stay. You get to pay almost 600$ for a 1 night stay. The service is top notch. We get a newspaper delivered in our front door every morning. And one time someone came with a bunch of fruits as a complimentary with a letter on it saying that they are happy for staying with them. Housekeeping comes everyday to clean and replenished you with those small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, water, Keurig kcups. The personnel were very welcoming from busboys, housekeepers, front desk and waiters. Me and daughter went for breakfast at their Victorian Restaurant, you will be served like a queen. They served buffet breakfast. Food is somewhat typical, bacon, eggs, croissants, fruits, bagels, cheese, coffee but the best part is that, you can always ask for your preferred breakfast and they will make for you. they also have a la carte if you prefer to. Our Waiter hector is the best. They also have a restaurant that you can go to for lunch and supper. Not too bad. But expect it a bit pricey since it's in the hotel. The only thing is this hotel is that they only have a valet parking that cost 54$ overnight. It's a bit expensive but no choice since you're in downtown Toronto and parking is always hard to find and expensive. But aside from that everything there is good..

And oh, I.forgot to mention that we forgot a bag of shoes (10pairs) , they were so kind to mail it to us. I dont care paying for the mail because my daughter has been crying for her shoes

Stayed at the King Edward hotel for the first time in early October 2018. The staff was thoughtful and caring to my every request( which wasn t much as they treat you like royalty) the dining experience whether room service or restaurant was simply delicious. We even took part in the Sunday afternoon tea and had a great time. Will stay here again for sure next year.

I have stayed at the Omni King Edward hotel in Toronto multiple times and every time have felt like complete royalty. I stayed there recently for my wedding and was left in awe over everything related to that weekend. The surprises were incredible, the amenities well-planned but the staff will be what I remember the most. They connect with you, take their time, listen and smile. They execute their jobs to their absolute highest ability. Thank you everyone!

Hotel was beautiful, beds were extremely comfortable, I had the premier room and its extremely spacious. The hotel is at a great location of Toronto, right at the heart of downtown so there's lots to do nearby. Food places nearby are expensive although that tends to be common in downtown Toronto. Overall would definitely recommend to others wanting to stay here.
