Supposedly one of the best 5 star hotels in Toronto but that was not my experience. The deluxe room we booked was not bad except for the bathroom which was really a disapointment. So small that you could not even put a toothbrush on the More

Came here for a birthday weekend getaway. The hotel is old world beautiful and is conveniently situated within walking distance of a number of interesting venues and close to the subway service if you don't want to have to struggle against traffic to get across town. The staff was extremely accommodating and gracious. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway. We booked through Priceline and got a wonderful room at a discounted rate; our jaw dropped when we saw our room for the price we paid. The room was gorgeously furnished. The bathroom was luxurious, with a deep soak tub and a heavenly double headed shower. There isn't a thing they didn't think to provide from a towel warmer to a makeup mirror fit for a model. Top shelf accommodations, with A+ for cleanliness, appointments and comfort. Unreservedly recommend with one tiny caveat. As with all hotels, it's always more economical to eat and drink off premises. Although their food was okay, for price and quality I would look elsewhere. And their bar prices were a bit outrageous. Overall, as hotels go, this was one of the nicest by far.

Very expensive and not quite worth it. Toilet didn't flush, cold water tap didn't work, they gave me a hassle using my credit card for the room (called my bank to make sure funds were in it. Good location, though.

I stayed here for two nights while attending meetings in town. My room had a king size bed and a seperate sitting area. The room was well kept and in great condition, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. The only noise I heard was the occasional hallway door closing for an adjacent room. Also, I was able to get a late check-out for a small fee on my departure day since I had a late flight, which was great!

Other than having breakfast in the hotel one morning, I didn't really use the hotel's facilities. I did find that the lobby had a large sitting area for meeting with others or just a place to work, and a pleasing fragrance.

I would definitely stay here again!

One word, Yess!!! Usually geared for business but this is my company. Decided to try out this property and I am so glad I did. Very comfortable and spacious. Felt like Royal treatment as I toured the property. No pool or spa but it Canada. Surrounded by leisure options.

The Omni King Edward is truly classy. Every aspect of the hotel is at the highest standard. The service is fantastic, the rooms luxurious but homey, and the food and drink are great. Will definitely recommend to everyone coming to Toronto!

This bar is the mid-point between a friend and I, so we meet here once a month. Not sure if we are going to continue due to the service as of recently.

The aesthetics are nice and the bar is cozy, but the prices are high (typical for a hotel). A pint of beer was $11 and my friend's rum and coke was around $16. with tax and tip, a couple of drinks is around $40, which is just terrible.

Last time we went, they got our drink order wrong and then no server came to ask us how we were doing for over 25 minutes when we wanted a check and to leave.

Another time while seated close to the front, we could overhear the servers talking trash about some customers they were serving. I know it happens in the service industry, but don't do it in front of other customers.

You can get the same drinks and better service for a better price in lots of other bars nearby - I don't think we will be back.

Enjoyed brunch buffet on Sunday. The majority of the items available were excellent and the staff was very attentive. A few items were disappointing, for example the eggs Benedict was very poor even though it was just put out, and thats even making allowances for buffet style meals. The few exceptions would be understandable if not for the $50+ price. All in all though very enjoyable.

Spectacular lobby and interior spaces. Got upgraded to the Royal Suite during a midweek stay! It pays to be nice to the staff. Great shopping and restaurants on our near the premises. Super close to the financial district and easy walking distance to CN Tower and other tourist sites. 3 blocks from Union Station.

My stay at the Omni King Edward Hotel was very good. The staff were attentive and very helpful. The rooms were excellently appointed. the location was actually very good, the only downside at all to it was that being downtown many of the restaurants close early and are quite expensive.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Toronto - surrounded by restaurants and a quick walk to the hockey hall of fame. The rooms are quite spacious. Front desk was friendly and efficient. The lobby is tastefully opulent withe velvet seating and decorative giant chess pieces. I'd definitely stay here again.
