Love the food. It reminds me of home. Of course the atmosphere is warm and service top notch.

Over priced small portions not worth the trip never go there again stay away staff did not seem to be to caring about anything throw the food on the table and walked away never checked on us. Go to the dilworth town inn. In west Chester much nicer

Excellent service , great quality food , everything was fresh and delicious and you could tell it was homemade and cooked from scratch. Would definitely come back here, the prices were fair , you pay for what you get !

Best of the best restaurants in Kimberton! The food is top notch and the service is exclusive and exceptional, totally deserve a high rank of my review, the owner Jeff welcome you personally and came to our table to make sure everything was ok, he treated us incredible and made us feel totally welcome, the food is outstanding and was serve hot, salmon was so delish!!! And the green ice cream they handmade is a top! Also deserts Are so good!

A great local place for a fancy dinner....with the perfect bar for a casual dinner. We love the bar with music and the crackling fireplace, and here is a little secret..... they have a bar menu with some great options!

DISAPPOINTING!!! We were married here more than a few years ago and it was truly an amazing wedding. Over the years we have returned a handful of times and things were very good. We decided to return and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary back at the place it all started. Now that our girls are grown we thought it would be a good idea to include them as well. Unfortunately, things certainly did not live up to the way we remembered. From the first moment it was clear things have changed. The grounds look okay, but certainly not up to previous standards. The hostess was pleasant, but not as friendly as in the past and even with a reservation, we were seated right in the middle of the dinning room floor...noisy, yes it was! Our waitress, was fine at best... she is what I would call a minimalist...doing the bare minimal and nothing more...acceptable at Applebee's but certainly not what you would expect from a restaurant in this class. The food was good, but not great. Finally, the wine that was served was AWFUL...see the picture of the "sediment" that was in my first glass of wine. When I brought it to my server's attention the response was "that's just sediment and that happens with red wine". REALLY, did she think this is my first glass of wine, I have drank literally thousands of glasses of wine and NEVER had that much SEDIMENT in a glass of wine, and I CERTAINLY would have never served that to someone at $15 a glass!!! Nonetheless, the second glass that I selected and was recommended tasted like I was drinking from an AVON bottle...who is selecting their wines??? Anyway I guess you just can't go back to the "Village Green"! Sorry Jeff we really had fond memories here!

We were put in a basement where the bathroom was disgusting. The food was just ok nothing to brag about. I think they could have put us upstairs. I would never come back to this place.

Had a rehearsel dinner here with 30 guests. Jeff did a fantastic job assisting with planning and his establishment delivered the goods. Could not have imagined a more suitable environment for this event. Food, atmosphere and service were all excellent.

We had the most amazing experience from start to finish for our wedding here this past October of 2019. Jason, Jeff and their staff made all of our decision making with their packages simple yet elegant. We sincerely couldn t have had a better wedding! Everyone complimented us on their amazing food and wedding cake!!

If we could do it all over again we sincerely would! Thank you both for such an amazing day, this review is long overdue and we can t wait to come back and dine with you soon!

I cannot say enough about the quality of the food, the extraordinary service and comfortable atmosphere. I have eaten at many highly recommended restaurants both local and across the country - and this one goes at the top. Everyone in our party raved about their order - and we literally ate every morsel. Even my cocktail (blackberry cosmo) was superb. If you thinking about going here - DO IT, you will not be disappointed!!!

Absolutely fantastic anniversary dinner with my wife. Kelly our server was very professional and attentive to our needs. The food is definitely worth the five stars. Just a great evening and experience here.

Cute little inn! We ate at the nice restaurant before playing a concert in the conference room. Had delicious scallops that are highly recommended. Presentation was very artful

Love this place but tonight the salmon looked and tasted like it had been cooked earlier, the waitress handed us our menus and came back 5 minutes later to get our drink order. We finished our drinks and waited on getting our salads. Hopefully just one bad night.

The food is very good. We had the Small Plates since the regular entree portions are very pricey. The portions are not large for the price of an entree. The price of the small plates are better. Nice for a special occasion, bit much just to grab a bite to eat. Upscale dining,

Kimberton Inn is the place to go for a special occasion, romantic evening, or to meet with friends for a drink. The first thing you notice is the historical building. As you enter, you find that you have escaped from your busy modern daily routine to a quiet, warm, relaxing place that transcends time. It feels like you are coming home. The wait staff add to this impression, quietly serving with a polite, elegant attentiveness that does not interrupt. The entrees are incredible. I especially recommend the crab cakes, which are done just right. Fresh, cooked to perfection, succulent and not too spicy, they are a form of culinary perfection. If you go in winter consider making your reservation ahead of time by a fireplace. I have traveled the world and experienced many great restaurants, but few compare to the delicious food and timeless atmosphere you will find at Kimberton Inn.

It was excellent. The food was fantastic. The wait staff couldn't have been better, attentive and friendly. The room was very nice also.

Tara is the McDaddy Bartender. They are all amazing, very attentive. Service is prompt. Cozy and low key environments for weekdays.

Get your reservation early, and make time to have a drink at the bar before being seated. The ambiance is early American upscale-gorgeous working fireplaces and terrific service. This is a $$$$ restaurant, and worth it without fail.

Quaint with a very nice ambiance but the food is not worth the price. It s just not that great for the price you pay. My husband have eaten there 3 times and have left feeling unimpressed with food.

My favorite restaurant. Wouldn't have my birthday dinner anywhere else. The filet is excellent and the clam chowder is tops. You have to finish it with the best ice cream sundae...literally that is what is called. The property is beautiful and the staff are impeccable!

Four of us went for Sunday Brunch. From the minute we arrived Kimberton personnel presented the most friendly and accommodating atmosphere we've had in a long time! It is a beautiful restaurant with so much ambiance. Our food was delicious and service couldn't have been better. For all this prices more than fair! Can't wait to go back.

Crab cakes are the best, as is the Best Salad. Ambient dining, even next to the bar.

Kimberton Inn is a nice place to dine if you are looking for a traditional, historic atmosphere with cozy rooms, a fireplace, and colonial style furniture. The menu has a variety of entrees, and the food portions are satisfying. My family dined at the Kimberton to celebrate a birthday, and we all enjoyed our meals. Service was a bit slow due to a large volume of people dining that evening (which was also a holiday). However, the staff was very friendly and polite. This restaurant is perfect for a family gathering or an elegant dinner date. Plus make sure to take a look at and ask about the huge jade plant in the lobby.

First rate. Haven't been there in a couple years. It was great back then, but has gotten even better.

An elegant serene dining experience with a courteous, attentive staff and exquisite menu. The filet mignon was perfect and the creme brulee topped off a great meal. A well deserved five-star rating.

Attended a Sunday brunch. The menu had the usual brunch items (Eggs Benedict, smoked salmon, etc). Pleasant, historic atmosphere. Service was good and staff was pleasant. My only complaints were that it was very crowded and the food was a little cold.

WOW what can I say? How have I not been here before? This is a GEM that I am glad we found, almost by accident. The food was amazing as was the staff. I am new to the area and drove past here many times. I cannot wait to return to The Kimberton Inn.

Loved it, beautiful place out in the countryside, with old world charm, only 30 minutes from the Main Line. Terrific service, ambience and food, all at reasonable prices! Our club the KRROC, has been having our Christmas party there for many years now.

Jeff went above and beyond helping me plan my wedding.

Reservation at 6:30. Salad served at 8. Sat for 1 and 1/2 hours with just our one drink. Service was so slow, no apology given. Food average and overpriced. Nice ambiance is really the only positive.

Very high end reasturant with prices to match. Food was excellent. I ordered the Frenched chicken breast. Very tender and succulent. The vegetables and sauce were also amazing. Waiters constantly refill the glasses.

The establishment is beautiful, of course, and historically relevant. The service is excellent, as the staff were very quick, very friendly, and attentive.

The black bass special with bok choy and mushrooms was delicious, as were the duck egg rolls we shared as an appetizer. The meals are small, which is somewhat expected from a "fancier" restaurant, but even so, a little disappointed on that front.

The food here was phenomenal. Don't go here expecting to get something cheap for dinner, but the quality of the food is decidedly worth the prices. My girlfriend and I both were very satisfied with everything we ate. The atmosphere is also very nice for a date night. Service was good, I suppose it could have been a tad better.

They offer a vast range of delicious food. I love eating here. The employees are always very friendly, rates are affordable and the spot is always kept clean.
