Food was amazing. Rock shrimp was the best. Cool dark atmosphere, and creative cocktails. Slowest waitress ever. Put a funk on our night for a while because she kept telling us she'd be right back.

The atmosphere and the location in itself is just simply great. A cool place for dating or casual dining with friends. Lots of very good looking people in their late twenties/early thirties.
The cocktails are nice if you have to wait to be seated. It's kinda always packed on week-ends.
The food is great especially the dumplings and the fish meals. Also loved the desserts!

The ambiance is spectacular, especially downstairs! The food is esquisite! The service is truly exceptional - the manager, Ioannis, and our waitress, Tatiana, gave us the best service ever! I would recommend this restaurant for anybody who loves top quality food and service! Treat yourself and try it! It is really a 5-star experience!

Food was decent. Music was so loud we had to scream at the table just to have a conversation. Had to scream at the waiter to order food, and he got the order wrong. It was so dark we had to use flashlights to see the menu.

First impression is how stunning the place is but its all downhill from there. Too expensive, and i wouldn't have a problem with the price if the service and food were great but I was very disappointed so won't be going back.

Swanky restaurant with a delicious food and beautiful court. The price is expensive but it deserves that. Choose any food in the menu and enjoy.
Restaurant and luxurious eating delicious and elegant meeting. The staff are friendly but the prices are expensive and this is normal in a restaurant like this and the food is delicious.

Our team dined here after a quarterly review meeting. We enjoyed the overall ambiance. The speed and agility of the staff surprised and delighted us throughout the meal. We purchased several dishes to share across the table for dinner - best decision ever. I enjoyed every dish I tried and dessert surpassed the meal. Highly recommend!

I'm giving this 3 stars because the place was cool and the food was all pretty good, but be careful! I have a shellfish allergy and was unaware that they used Oyster Oil in MANY non-fish dishes. I had a bad reaction and was very sick afterwards. Allergy info wasn't made clear on the menu. I now always mention this allergy wherever I go, especially for Asian restaurants to be safe. Bad experience, BUT, the food really was very good and we had a great time. I didn't get hit with the reaction until after dinner was over, and the waiter caught this detail halfway through our meal and made sure to adapt our order to bring items that were safe for me.

This is a really great restaurant if your looking for good Asian food fair in the Chelsea area. There's outdoor seating and indoor so you can choose where you want to sit. There's wheelchair accessible entrance and wheelchair accessible bathroom.

Awesome experience at Buddakan. I was here for a company dinner (about 20 people) and the service was very fast and efficient. Things you need to try: the boneless spare ribs and the edamame dumplings. Large place, so getting a table shouldn't be hard to do. They accommodate large groups (like ours) and also parties in private rooms.

Buddakan is a classy, chic spot, perfect for a light but delicious dinner before a night out. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and cozy, while still maintaining an air of sophistication and modernity. The food and drinks were amazing; although the portions are not huge, the food was so flavor full you really wanted to savor every bite. I cannot stop raving about Buddakan; it's my new favorite.

Buddakan is the high life of New York. It's a very trendy restaurant that will never go out of style. My jaw literally dropped when I walked into the main dining room. It reminded me of Beauty and the Beast and I am a big Disney fan.

Buddakan has different rooms (a library, a bird room, a budda room, etc). You can request where you want to dine. The food here is okay, with some things exceptional such as their edamame dumplings. They are so rich and flavorful. It's all worth it, because you're here for the scene.

What a wonderful place to visit especially when you are in NYC. So busy and crowded very happening place. Many drinks to chose from. The menu is extremely large and everything seems delicious. You definitely need to dress up nicely. Staff are nice. We will be back!

Upscale bar and restaurant right next to Chelsea market building. $15-20 per cocktail. Thursday and Friday night are filled up with young people. Worth your time if you are looking for new friendship.

The environment is very good, the food is of high quality. The attention is good, but at 11pm they closed the kitchen without warning, therefore, we were left wanting to taste something else. Additionally, and the most negative point, we closed the door of the place while we waited for the Uber, having to wait outside.

The interior is roomy but dark. The wait staff is attentive. The appetizers came out warm-not very hot-I prefer hot. The entrees were delicious except for the eggplant tofu side- I barely touched it. The desserts were amazing! Would we return? Maybe.

Exceptional place in the Meat Packing District. A bit tough to find but well worth it. Very unique ambience and the fusion cuisine is some of the best in the city. The entrance and "collecting lounge" (the only way I can really describe it) are very cool, and adds to the unique, friendly, and upscale atmosphere of this restaurant. The waitstaff is exceptional. Book ahead, this place gets really busy - and for good reason.

I chose this restaurant to surprise my husband with a cool date night. After having read so many positiv ratings, I was in fact astonished how bad the reception really was. We waited over 45 minutes to be seated ending up walking out. The seating system clearly does not work. Presumably best with a group of friends or colleagues, definitely not for a date night.

Consistently excellent and attentive service each time I've been here. The food is next level. I do think the crispy chicken main course could be a little more adventurous in it's sauce and seasoning but the quality of the meat was still top notch.

Amazing food here! The staff took great care of us. We went for our honeymoon and several staff acknowledged our special night. Dim Sum was awesome, as well as the Peking Duck. Our waiter, Taylor, had great recommendations and was very personable. We will be back next time we are in NYC.

The food here is very good. The service is helpful and professional. But this place has a habit of keeping its patrons in the bar to wait to be seated. We waited fifteen minutes only to discover many empty tables. Also do not come here if you want a quiet conversation.

A trendy, staple Asian fusion restaurant/bar within the city that s great for groups or to take a date. The space is modern and spacious but can be pretty loud, service is superb/attentive and the food is a modern take on Asian Fusion. I love Asian food, and I frequently eat in The Chinatowns in both Flushing and Manhattan so I am a bit bias. However, if the Chinatowns with hole in the wall restaurants are not your thing, then Buddakan might be a better option as the food is more modern and American.

Amazing ambience and service, yet not stand offish so you don't feel comfortable bringing your out of town Midwest parents. Waiters have expert knowledge of the menu and helped make great dining decisions. Definitely start with one app and one entre per person plus a veggie, rice, or noodle side as they portions do fill you up and dessert is too good to miss!
