Kimberton Inn made my mother s 99 th birthday spectacular. The waitress was fabulous, the food was delicious, and the entire brunch was extraordinary. We were the last reservation for Sunday brunch and they served us and we never felt rushed. First class service, lovely atmosphere, and everything was perfect 5 stars

We showed up early to go to the bar and grab a drink, and man were their drinks quality! The food was absolutely incredible with great kind service, amazing dessert, and lovely wine. Would definitely recommend for a very pricey date night.

I was there for an after funeral luncheon so I don't know how relavant my experience will be to a normal dinner's. We had what they labeled 'That's Best Salad You Have Ever Had' and it was very good. We had the option of four entries and four deserts. Everyone at my table enjoyed their selection. Service was very good and efficient.

This is one of those spots that has seen a couple of century's of patrons come and go. And it is still the place to go. We may not know if George Washington Slept here, but the place was around when he was working the Chester County Party Circuit. Loved seeing the place looking so good!

I love the food and the atmosphere and what a great group of people making it all happen so brilliantly!

I always love the food here and the service is continually outstanding. I was here for my works Christmas party and they did everything possible to accommodate my gluten allergies. This place is always a favorite of mine for special occasions.

Meal of a life time and plenty of it. Arrived early and sat early. Service was 5 star, (Kelly?) was great although in horrible we sh names. I love Kimberton Inn!

I go here to eat about three times a year. It's rather expensive for my situation but the food is wonderful and if the dinner is for a special occasion it's the right place.

My family love this place so much, yet sparingly, my brother had the reception for his wedding here.

Long story short, make reservations, love the food, have plenty of funds for the evening...save and repeat.

This was my second time here. Both times it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend the Kimberton Inn. The food and service are superb.

We recently, Thanksgiving weekend, attended the Flick wedding at the Kimberton Inn and it was terrific! The food, drinks and service were all outstanding. The managment, servers, bartenders etc all went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time and a happy wedding. Thank you !

Wonderful service. Delicious, high-quality food. Expensive but worth it if you're doing a big night out or anniversary dinner. Very romantic atmosphere with a live piano player. Really nice, old-timey decor from an earlier century (late 1700s). Definitely worth the trip.

This review is long overdue. considering the fact that we have been enjoying delightful experiences for the past 25 years at the Kimberton Inn.
The service is professional, friendly and very attentive.
The ambiance is aglow with sparkling hurricane glass covered candles.
I look forward sitting by the fireplaces crackling during the colder months.
Everything is prepared to perfection. I am not a big wine guy, but they always pair it right if we decide to open a bottle. Many thanks to Jeff, Jason and the rest of the KI team for years of wonderful memories.

The quality of food at his place was excellent. The staff was very attentive.

My husband had the liver and said it was the best he ever had. My rib eye was perfect.

The cozy quaint old stone restaurant has babbling streams around it and plenty of parking. Inside the fireplaces are a cozy touch with pleasant staff snuggled in rural Chester County. The food is great. Appropriate sized portions and healthy options. The food presentation is amazing- compliments to the chef.

We had our baby shower at the kimberton inn and everything was great. They accommodate very well. The food was good and everyone enjoyed themselves. We have also had dinner here a few times and have never had a bad experience

Everything was a pleasure...from the reception,the lovely environment, the wait staff to the delicious food. We met old friends here for Valentine's dinner and it could not have been more perfect

The building, decor, and music were definitely amazing. The service (which I really don't even care about...but I was hungry and it took about 30 minutes until the waitress came to our table + another 15 for bread which was brought out with our meal) was not good. I got the veal escalopes for $26. It was basically 2 veal medallions topped with a sliced of prosciutto and a slice of fontina with 4 small diced red-skin potatoes in balsamic vinegar. Taste-wise, nothing special and not worth $26. We also got the crab cake for $28. It did taste good, but all it came with was 3 potato fries. Overpriced.

Most amazing cuisine. Authentic historical atmosphere. Quiet and serene, without being stuffy. A lovely choice to celebrate a special occasion.

Absolutely delicious. Nice pace...no hurry. They let you enjoy your dining experience...even on Thanksgiving when I'm sure they want to turn over the table. Never felt rushed. Everyone so nice and cordial!

The food, service and atmosphere were great, but there was a manager who made a few weird/awkward comments to my husband and me.

When you go here, make sure it is not the same night as a wedding. We usually love it here, but due to a wedding being held here (apparently they have a lot of wedding receptions here per our waitress) it took 2.5 hours to have our meal. Service was painfully slow, all of our food came out cold, no fire in fireplace (it was 40 degrees outside), no parking and cars blocking entrances, 2 stall bathroom was always crowded with wedding guests, no manager came to our table to ask us how things were, romantic dinner was not relaxing due to loud wedding music. Dessert was good and so was the salad but other than that...So disappointed.

A favorite, local restaurant! When any family member hears, 'had dinner at Kimberton' the reaction is always a strongly positive one. It would be impossible to be better. We were there on holiday evening & they did a beautiful job. Even though it was really busy, we weren't rushed. This is a very old, colonial spot (as many are in our area) & they recently made a great change & now have an expanded bar that was fun pre-dinner. Reservations are a must! Plan ahead for this dinner! It'll be worth it. Enjoy your dinner!

I have been coming here for years, the food and service are always great. My sister threw my bridal shower here also and it was lovely, the room really doesn't need decorations which was great for my bridesmaids and my sister was thrilled with how easy it was to work with them. Also, I always love treating myself to their Sunday brunch!

One of our favorites. Consistently very good to excellent food and service in a lovely colonial atmosphere, not noisy. The menu is consistent and specials are offered nightly. Not inexpensive but reasonably priced. One of the only places I can get calves liver.

Living in Massachusetts, I recently came home for a visit and the only place I wanted to go for dinner was Kimberton Inn. Thank you for always delivering. Best ambience, cuisine, service and management out there!

had my aunts 80th birthday party there. went there with her as a toddler. still a beautiful place. great food. and the staff is ecxellent.

My sweetheart took me to this fine restaurant on my birthday. Love the food here so much that I had 2 entres. Beer on tap is so fresh. I live walking distance and sometimes my sweetheart and I love to just walk on down and dine barside. Praying that this C-19 will end so we can enjoy soon.

The Kimberton Inn is one of the nicest Chester County country Inn restaurants. The menu is good and varied, the food is always good and the service is usually exceptional. The atmosphere is very pleasant and a great place for a special occasion. The wine list is exceptional!

My 85th birthday dinner at Kimberton was delicious , well served, fun. Typical of Kimberton. Thank you to my Granddaughter, nephew, Jeff and his staff. It is my favorite place to eat a delicious meal and relax in a giving atmosphere of fun and laughter. B Caffrey

Really enjoyed the Easter dinner from the Kimberton Inn. So glad we could help in a small way. Happy to see what Jeff is doing to keep this historic restaurant afloat and take care of his employees. Probably the Best Salad You ll Ever Have is exactly that. Just amazing 5 star salad. I had the hazelnut crusted chicken breast which was tender, moist and flavorful. I finished with the fudge brownies & chocolate ganache. Also amazing. Classics done extremely well! Grilled meatloaf and ham steak rounded out the dinner. @ Kimberton Inn

Safe, predictable, traditional. Nothing too challenging on the menu, but everything is executed well. Service on a weeknight was very slow. A nice place to take your granny for a special dinner.

The service was impecible and the food was good. It was a bit overpriced for what you get. They came up in a search for vegetarian items, but the are very heavy in the surf and turf categories. There were only one or two veggie options. Still overall very good.
