A lovely place with excellent facilities however if you are not a meat lover/eater you may find it really hard to find something to eat. Even the sandwiches all appeared to be meat based, not even a cheese a pickle in sight at noon. Given the estates contacts with lots of high quality suppliers I'm surprised there isn't more on offer for vegetarians and vegans.

Lovely place to visit for a..... window shopping. Way, way too expensive. Simple example....Aigle neoprene wellies...190 quid. The very same one 93 quid on Amazon. The only place deserving mentioning is the food hall, everything else is more expensive than Harrods... enough said

Popular large, rather upmarket mill shop, just around the back there is a wonderfully spectacular max half hour walk to waterfalls and gorge with pretty old bridges. Good path but steep.

Fantastic 2 km walk through super beautiful forests and seeing spectacular waterfalls. I advise you to park in the parking lot of the shopping center and take the path on the right.

Absolutely first class! All staff starting with car park Marshalls on arrival - charming efficient and good fun! Special mention to young man selling Magnum cream liqueur - excellent service.
Altogether a wonderful shopping experience with lots of bargains. Thank you all.

We have been going to House of Bruar since 2003 and it is always a treat to sample the food and other products here. However, over the last few years some of the staff seem to have developed a superiority complex resulting in extremely rude More

Very expensive department store first and foremost, however the fish and chip shop is to die for. I had their catch of the day, squid and chips, which was beautifully cooked and presented.
Cloakrooms (aka the loos) were impeccably presented and very clean.
We bought jam for an extraordinary amount of money but it was a present so no big deal.
The walk to the waterfalls is well worth it if you recover from the pricing inside.

We stopped here during a long drive it's far better than any fuel stop cafe! Lots to walk round and see, and we used a nice little cafe. Very clean and near a beautiful local landscape for stretching the legs at.

I know it's a bit of a tourist trap but my groups have always enjoyed the experience, the quality of the carvery and food in general, and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff!

A fairly extensive shopping centre that has a wide range of goods mostly geared towards tourists and other visitors to the area.

Options include a liquor store that emphasises whisky, an extensive array of sweets and baked goods, a butchers, a deli, and a cashmere shop, amongst others. There's a restaurant here as well if you get hungry from all that spending.

I'm not much into shopping, but I can appreciate that those who do would enjoy this spot. Great for picking up souvenirs at semi-reasonable prices.
