Great food, beautiful goods and a wonderful woodland walk...

Loved visiting (shopping) here, lots of wonderful things to discover

Always a lot to see. Place is always clean. Lots of capacity in the restaurant but the prices are high so even a quick drink is costly.

Food is really good, the conservatory adds a great view that allow you to watch the sparrows whole you eat.

Excellent quality and the sale prices were fantastic.

Poor help with the ladies fashion when you go inside alone as a man.

We used the car park as an overnight stopover in our motorhome. Fantastic fish and chip shop. They even do lobster

Couldn t get moving. Parked on muddy field quite faraway and that was with a disabled ticket. The attendants were not observing and one ushered us passed the shops to houses up the hill out of the area. We eventually got in to the field. stayed about 5 mins. Not pleasant day out and we travelled quite a distance. Maybe try again another time.

House of Bruar is synonymous with quality. Good is great, staff are friendly and helpful. A great place to find something unusual for a gift. The walk to Bruar Falls is stunning. Kids love it too.

Beautiful breakfast, very expensive shop, but lovely all the same.

We tend to stop here on our way to Cairngorms as it s a lovely shopping centre and there s a nice walk around for our dogs. It s also great spot to get some souvenirs, the truffles are just delicious!
One place I would say to avoid is the little cafe place under the glass. It tricks you into thinking it s going to be lovely as it s such a nice spot but that couldn t be more untrue.

Bought a beautiful men's jacket ,service was excellent ..well worth the money .

A brilliant place to stop for families (& anyone really). Lots of food choices from a deli, butcher, high end gourmet foods, to haddock or a pie & chips. In the courtyard they sell beautiful fresh produce including Scottish berries, apples & garlic. Plus you can shop for beautiful clothes & gifts. I highly recommend taking a stop here on any road trip

I shop very little when I travel. I see very little that I m interested in buying. When I walked into The House of Bruar in Scotland fifteen years ago, I looked at my sister and one of my best friends, and said, while smiling, I m GOING to buy something here! I bought two cashmere sweaters and one wool. I m still wearing those sweaters, still loving them, and they still look new!! I will always remember when I opened the door to The of House Bruar, the beautiful colors, the scent of quality all waiting for me to explore at my leisure.

Well stocked with nice goodies ( clothes and food). Staff were friendly and helpful, so made for a nice day out. I got what I wanted, ie., a sweater, pie & chips, plus stuff from the butchers'. And, it stopped raining!! A bright blob occurred in the sky! Wonderful.

Always busy and popular with drivers on the A9. A little expensive but nice local products

Dedicated disabled parking in lower and upper car parks.
Paths are heavily ridged stone slabs, difficult for wheelchairs with small front wheels.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Getting between levels is a palaver as you have to be taken behind the scenes through a maze to the lift, which is very small.
Not all levels are wheelchair accessible.

Only two wheelchair accessible toilets one of which is not within shopping area so you have to ask to use it and the main accessible toilet gets ridiculously busy.
Overall a number of thoughtless areas and missed opportunities for wheelchair using customers makes a visit here less satifactory than you would hope for.

Wonderful shopping especially for outdoor, Country clothing, speciality Scottish foods and Drink, fishing tackle and a superb Restaurant and it's own fish and chip shop, highly recommended!

What an incredible place to shop. Has stunning garments made of cashmere. Outdoor wear. Food. Shoes. Just lovely.

A vast range of clothing, homeware and fresh and frozen food, the food is a reasonable price but other items are expensive but it is top quality.

A fabulous retail experience - you could spend the whole day there.

It may be a bit expensive but it's worth the while. Amazing for everyone

On the route from Inverness to Edinburgh. It is worth stopping over in all cases. Different shops and cafes. Beautifully laid out

Decent stop off if you're on your way up the A9 (or a shopping trip, if you've a particularly heavy wallet). Good food, particularly the soup.

Great place for something to eat. Lovely deli and clothes shops.

The shopping is amazing, I have been there many times, we something new every time! I am also a tour group organizer and I've taken groups there several times.

Always great stop when travelling up and down A9. Great walk above in to the woods. Facilities for all travellers needs.

Beautiful clothes and produce. Didn't visit homeware or woollens or Sale venue. Good selection of things to eat and drink in the restaurant. Excellent soup.

A comprehensive range of stylised clothing for gents and ladies along with many household decorative items.
There is a special Wedding List room to help plan the gift list.
There are many gift ideas options as well as garden centre items in the courtyard.
A very large cafe offers drinks and cakes whilst a restaurantcoffers meals at very reasonable prices. A wonderful place for a day out or Christmas shopping.

Always a delight to make a visit to the House of Bruar, didn't fail today either as they still had their sale on.

Lovely place although I do think it's a bit over priced, but We do like to stop here when heading South or on the way home.

Great for full Scottish breakfast. Mugs could be bigger. Good clothing and foodstuffs on sale. Always enjoy stopping off here on our trips to Rhiconich and Kinlochbervie.

Having tasted Fish and Chips, fried fish and chips, it's too greasy.

High standards in all areas of the outlet. The restaurant is stunning. And everything is immaculate.

As a tourist, there is something for everyone here. Easy stopover.
