Upon arrival I had to ask directions to my conference as it was not well signed, other large events had ample signage. In the lobby I noticed that the furniture is largely worse for wear. Scuffs and dents abound. The lunch we were served was buffet style. There were no labels for any of the dishes. One was left guessing what kind of salad or sandwich was presented. The employees were all very courteous. Parking was confusing, drive ways closed and valet parking poorly marked.

What a great experience. I was here for my wedding night and they made it so special. They had several surprises for my husband and I! My only complaint is they did not mention an extra charge of a connecting room, they made it sound like it was part of the package as long as I had X number of guests, but I'm hoping we get this sorted out soon.

So far the staff has been incredibly kind as well as helpful. The gym is lacking in my opinion but then again Im used to a large open gym with many benches and free weights. As far as hotel gyms go it's not bad. The rooms are spectacular with facinating paintings. The pool is at most 4 ft 6in deep but very nice and clean. The pool didn't have that nauseating chlorine smell which was great. The hot tub was nice as well. 10/10 would stay here again if my work ever brings me back to Detroit. Yours truly, a Wisconsinite.

Very pretty hotel with bar, restaurant, pool, hot tub, conveniently located off the Southfield expressway. Staff were very friendly and professional. The only unfortunate thing about this hotel is one has a choice of either a king bed or two standard beds per room. The standard beds are very narrow and will not accommodate anyone over 5'11" well, nor do they accommodate two people in the same bed well. We booked five rooms for relatives attending a funeral and didn't realize our adult children and significance others couldn't sleep well in the small beds. The only other option would have been to book 10 King beds which would have been cost prohibitive..too bad there is not an option of having two queen beds in one room as with most other hotels, especially of this tier level.

I was very impressed with everyone I encountered, so friendly and professional. The lady at the front desk (I wish I had caught her name, it started with a V), was hands down the nicest and most courteous front desk associate I ve encountered (pre-Covid I traveled almost weekly for work). The Covid precautions taken made me feel very comfortable (mask, the rooms were very clean, and they provided sanitizing wipes in the room). We were given extra points because the lounge was closed, which was nice. We at dinner at Tria and enjoyed the food and service (the menu was more limited due to Covid but still a good variety). The artwork in the hotel is beautiful and if you don t mind driving, you can get to a lot of attractions within 20 minutes. I ll definitely be back!

This is nice hotel but the service was horrible. We booked 2 suites with them, one was the executive suite for our wedding, we wanted a nice room to take pics in if the weather didn't permit us from taking pics outdoors. they gave us the wrong room, when we went to talk to them they said the system is down and will call us when it comes back up to fix our problem. they didn't call us so the night before our wedding we went to them they said they cant do anything about it because they already booked our original suite. So we ended up with a bad room so we were taking just a few pics in the hall way outside of our room, they had the staff ruin our pics they said " your wedding isn't in the hotel so you cant take pics here. we explained what happened so the staff was nice enough to let us take like 5 more mins of pics as my husband walked behind me so we can see each other for the first time the manger walked up to us and said we sent staff to let you to stop taking pics. she is in literally my wedding pics telling us to stop. it messed up our pics. such a horrible way to talk to paying costumers. the worst experience ive had it made it that much worse that we were already stressed out about them messing up our rooms now they messed up our pics.

There for a professional luncheon. Parking for such events is terrible. I had to park at the mall and walk, in the rain. The food was typical. The chandeliers are gorgeous. It was you typical professional event with chicken.

Attended an event at the hotel, and it was very nice. High class atmosphere, and centrally located. I can't speak for the bedrooms, but the event space was astonishing with a lot of artwork.

My favorite hotel in North America, despite its rather uninspired location in the middle of nowhere next to the old-fashioned "Fairlane Town Center" mall in Dearborn. The hotel convinces with a very warm and individual interior, an unbelievably good breakfast buffet by North American standards, beautiful artwork and, above all, its warm and extremely helpful staff. The Henry, a former Ritz-Carlton, also has a small but very nice spa area with a gym and indoor pool. Very clean and comfortable hotel rooms with excellent beds.

My first Autograph stay, very nice! Best Marriott concierge lounge I ever visited, great effort by front desk to upgrade me and provide roll away for guest, only criticisms are steep $25 valet parking fee even for staying guests, and a first for me - no meat on the lounge breakfast buffet/no stevia/no dark roast, no shuttle so -1 star for these 3 items, but still plan to come back soon

The lobby was the best part. The hotel rooms were nice but I expected more. The shampoos they provide stripped my hair and my roommates. I have curly hair and her hair is straight. We still feel like our hair is recovering because it left it so thin. Other than that, great staff.

This place was amazing, I was in from out of town, needed a NICE place to stay. Googled nearby hotels and this place popped up. Comfy beds, clean rooms you name it. Great food at the restaurant that was on site. Close to the Henry Ford museum. Gave me a great rate without even asking for a discount. Jo, the gentleman who checked me in was a great help.

We attended a wedding here, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and professional. The food was phenomenal. Parking was not ideal, but after asking for help we were able to find something.

Terrible place to have a wedding. Fake fancy.

Terrible place to have a wedding. Fake fancy.
Dirty carpets, walls. The wedding I went to had curtains to cover up the walls. Vendors were seriously inconvenienced by so-called VIPs: If another wedding is here and they come to us, we will decline to service them solely due to this venue s unprofessionalism.

First impression, a nice hotel with a good sized king bed room and free WiFi. The bad was I couldn't get any sleep. The furnace kept making constant metal clicking noise. And my review would have been 2-3 stars given I chose to try to sleep instead of attempting to ask for a new room at 2 am. Unfortunately, when I let the check out staff know, I wasn't given an apology or anything at all. So, the level of emphaty or a lack thereof is reflected in this review.

I haven't stayed overnight at this hotel before, but i have been inside on multiple occassions. I can say the respect and service I was treated with during those times were phenomenal. The 2 concierge persons and Brandon there, we're great people who really helped me during my short visit. I could only imagine how a nights stay would be. What a welcoming place to be in! Thanks guys for a great experience! Hope to stay one day!

Parking was dreadful. The main lot was full. I should have valet parked. It was raining, and I ended up parking in a two hour spot with scary signs about how it wasn't for hotel guests. I wasn't ticketed.

Richard, a maitre-D, was very helpful. He led me toward the medical group conference area. He seemed to genuinely care, and not just dismissively point the way. I later chatted with him about the staff pumpkin carving contest. He was very down to earth and personable. He is a boon to the hotel.

The Park West gallery art hangs throughout the Henry. I have several PW art pieces from a cruise and have adored it. The art in the hotel is all very well framed, but somewhat packed onto the walls. Rotating exhibits, rather than having everything out on display, might be less cramped.

Dress code: The men wore black suit coats. Women were mostly wearing business casual or skirt suits.

In the dining area, the servers were all attentive and courteous. It was five-star service. Servers wore white gloves and there were clearly strict dress and grooming codes. They were a great bunch.

Our salads were field greens with pecans, craisins, and a creamy dressing. Servers went from table to table to apply the same dressing to every salad. My recommendation would be to offer two dressing boats, one with creamy sunflower dressing (or whatever it was, it was fair), and one with a lighter option. Perhaps the servers could apply one or the other to salads that were eaten. The table was set for 9 or 10, bit only six were at my table. There had to be 40-50 tables in the hall.

There was a roll, not too hard, but not wonderful, with an uninspired pat of butter. Definitely upgrade that.

Service to refill water was perfect timed, as was the clearing of plates once finished. Offering another roll would have been nice.

I chose beef. I had a medium rare steak. It was nice. Not Morton's or Ruth's Chris nice, but nice. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Veggie was fresh and steamed nicely. From what I saw, the salmon also looked decent.

Currently sitting in the lobby of "The Henry" with all my luggage waiting for a room to be ready. We booked a room and had a GUARANTEED check in time (per their website) at 3pm. We were told that since the hotel was full last night, housekeeping is behind and do not have any rooms ready. They have our phone number, but made no effort to contact us so we could make other arrangements. We were originally told a 30 minute wait, and it has now been upwards of 45. It's now 4:52pm and we're still sitting here with other patrons who are in the same predicament waiting to get ready for a wedding we are all going to be late to. I'm sorry that you were busy, but you cannot tell me a hotel of this caliper is unable to turn over after a busy Friday night. This cannot be a rare occasion that they are full on the weekend. After speaking with the front desk again for a time frame of our room after continually waiting, we were told they're "working as fast as they can". There is no manager offering refreshments or any sort of compensation for this massive inconvenience . Please do not waste your money here. I gladly would have stayed at a cheaper hotel, especially knowing they can get me in at the time we agreed on, and was guaranteed. Extremely unsatisfied with my stay thus far, and will not be coming back or recommending to anyone.

I had a conference here, so I wasn't a hotel guest, but "just visiting" I can see how nice a hotel it is. The place is gorgeous and classy and the staff is helpful, friendly and courteous.
