Parking was dreadful. The main lot was full. I should have valet parked. It was raining, and I ended up parking in a two hour spot with scary signs about how it wasn't for hotel guests. I wasn't ticketed.

Richard, a maitre-D, was very helpful. He led me toward the medical group conference area. He seemed to genuinely care, and not just dismissively point the way. I later chatted with him about the staff pumpkin carving contest. He was very down to earth and personable. He is a boon to the hotel.

The Park West gallery art hangs throughout the Henry. I have several PW art pieces from a cruise and have adored it. The art in the hotel is all very well framed, but somewhat packed onto the walls. Rotating exhibits, rather than having everything out on display, might be less cramped.

Dress code: The men wore black suit coats. Women were mostly wearing business casual or skirt suits.

In the dining area, the servers were all attentive and courteous. It was five-star service. Servers wore white gloves and there were clearly strict dress and grooming codes. They were a great bunch.

Our salads were field greens with pecans, craisins, and a creamy dressing. Servers went from table to table to apply the same dressing to every salad. My recommendation would be to offer two dressing boats, one with creamy sunflower dressing (or whatever it was, it was fair), and one with a lighter option. Perhaps the servers could apply one or the other to salads that were eaten. The table was set for 9 or 10, bit only six were at my table. There had to be 40-50 tables in the hall.

There was a roll, not too hard, but not wonderful, with an uninspired pat of butter. Definitely upgrade that.

Service to refill water was perfect timed, as was the clearing of plates once finished. Offering another roll would have been nice.

I chose beef. I had a medium rare steak. It was nice. Not Morton's or Ruth's Chris nice, but nice. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good. Veggie was fresh and steamed nicely. From what I saw, the salmon also looked decent.
