Refused to honor our reservation for a single king bed, instead putting us in doubles. This meant my husband and I slept in separate beds for our getaway trip. This is pretty much par for the course with Mariott, so we're switching our loyalty membership to Hyatt.

I have stayed at The Henry for personal visits as well as for work, and there is just something that doesn't sit right with this hotel with me. It never feels welcoming or inviting to me. The opportunity to browse the amazing art on the walls is great, but it just feels cold and sterile. The rooms are lovely , and I was honestly blown away with how nice the bathroom was in our suite. The food from room service was not great for the price and the staff I have encountered is never friendly. This is not my first choice for a hotel.

After several misses on our vacation for hotels, this was a welcome relief! This hotel has wonderfulness written all over it. The front desk staff engaged in a conversation and then I guess we whined a bit, gave us free breakfast! What a treat! Even if you do not get comped, have this breakfast...everything is superb and tasted wonderful and they do some made to order items as well like omelets. Hmmmm my mouth is watering from the memory. Bed super comfy, lovely bathroom with places for everything. We stayed three nights and enjoyed ourselves to the max. You cannot go wrong if you are looking for a break from everyday or want a getaway spot.

The Henry Hotel was a beautiful building with great art. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The front desk was also kind enough to give us complimentary breakfast which was also fantastic. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

Free flowing vibes, culturally in tune hip place. Art was beautiful. My room was lovely, and hotel accommodations were high quality. The food in the restaurant was also tasty. The ballroom was breathtaking for the wedding reception i was attending.

My old job would always book The Henry for the annual Christmas party and it was always set very nicely. The food is good and they were always accommodating. The parking can get a little crazy but valet is usually the way to go.

We stopped in for lunch just before the holiday. It was very quiet (normally it is very busy). The service was very good, as you would expect for this location.

The food was fantastic! Served quickly and hot. The side salads were picture perfect and very fresh. This is an upscale establishment part of The Henry hotel. There is plenty of parking and easy access from the Southfield freeway and Hubbard drive.

The Henry is a very amazing hotel, I love all the work that is hung throughout the building and their staff is one of a kind. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it could use some updating but other than that the place is amazing.

A Ritz Carlton renamed to an autograph property. There is no reason to stay here except business and they make that clear with $18 Tito+sodas. For those on business travel, I recommend the airport Westin for a better gym experience or Element in downtown Detroit for way cheaper and better food and drinks. That said, the bar staff is friendly (they don't set the prices ;) ) and room service is dependable.

I intend to keep going there over the next 8 months...

I have traveled to Dearborn on and off for 14 months over the past three years (and probably have another 8 months in the next year). This is my go-to place. It has a corporate rate for my client, but there are many things I like about this place.

I know many of the staff. I like the beds and linen. The rooms are nice and have central air, so they are quiet. I have lifetime status with Marriott, so it's nice to have a nice lounge. Also, while the workout area is certainly fine, I practice Tai Chi and there's not really room for it in the workout area, but there are several large areas near their conference rooms, so I can usually find a convenient place to practice inside.

The only dig, and it's minor, is that as the place is popular, it is sometimes sold out and sometimes their parking is full. You can park across very close in another building's parking (not much more of a walk) but you need to get out early. While this has happened a few times, I've never had any inconvenience other than maybe a touch more walking to my car after an especially busy night.

I keep going there, and I can say that is not the case with one other Marriott property near by.

It's quiet, peaceful. Close walking distance to the mall. Food is great! I love the fact that when you go to the pool, it's not a whole bunch of ppl being loud. You can actually go and relax. Love the room, pillows are amazing! And there ice machine was very close to my room.

Food, service & ambiance all A+! Will return, for sure. Menu varied but not weird. Very appealing dishes, and great options for vegetarians as well...not just the same old stuff. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

I spent a weekend at this hotel for a conference. It s a beautiful conference hall with great service and decent dining options. The halls are large enough to accommodate a few hundred people. I was a little disappointed by the food being served and by the sound quality of the sound systems. Otherwise it was a great hall

The hotel is located 20 minutes from DTW Airport, next to a mall, which can also be visited on foot via a car park. The newly renovated hotel displays pictures and graphics by different artists in a sort of permanent exhibition. On the 10th floor there is a lounge where breakfast is also served. I would describe the furnishing style as "Gelsenkirchen Baroque", as a Ruhrgebietler you feel at home in the wild style mix ...

The artwork was great to see. The Henry was a little more run down than we expected though. Room Service (breakfast) was delicious. Overall it was a great stay. The artwork was the bonus of the trip though.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and typically find it to be an incredible stay. The last time I booked a suite, the view was horrible (which was very disappointing). I am a lifetime platinum member and I currently have an upcoming reservation for 5 nights during Christmas. I am hoping to receive a nice suite with a much better view to help make my Christmas more special this year (especially since I have battled many medical situations this year). Please let me know if this is possible with advance notice.

Asides from the decor, I saw no discernible difference to many Marriott, or similar chain, properties.
The pool is only about 30ft long, not useful. The gym is well equipped but tiny and no windows. Room restocking is spotty (missi missing items). Things are clean and in good condition, but that is baseline full service, not the luxury rate charged here.
The onsite restaurant has barely any veg options.
