The best! Great atmosphere , good food and cold beer!

Everything was great except the scottish lentil soup, souper bland! =(

Some of the best fish & chips in the city. Service is quick and friendly. Decent amount of beers on tap.

Yesterday we visited the restaurant and we had really good experience with the food, beer and the customer service ( the Waiter name was Ross) we recommend 100% this place ..

The food was very good. Nice size portions. Quickly prepared. Service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Only downside was the clam chowder, while tasty, was closer to a soup than a creamy chowder. Otherwise, no complaints.

Food was about 3.5 service was 4.5. ambiance was a cross between a pub and a refined eatery

This place is amazing. Great atmosphere, friendly servers and a great mix of traditional Scottish fare and regular pub food. Great beer selection. Also has a lunch menu on weekdays. Can't go wrong with this place!

Great food terrible service and for that reason I can't go back. I went once for a late dinner and I was literally the only one there. It took forever to get the food let alone the sauce on the side. We waited roughly 15 minutes to get the bill and another 20 minutes to get the machine.

WORST SERVICE EVER. I will never go back.

Great place to visit for a pint and to watch a game. While you're there treat yourself to the fish and chips, it is one of the best I have had in this city. Friendly staff and great atmosphere makes this a fun place to eat at.

The Glen is a most wonderful Scottish restaurant serving amazing food and Scottish beer. Their fish and chips are mouth watering, sticky toffee pudding ...... The staff are super friendly and helpful with recommendations.

"Meh..." That pretty much sums it up. On the good side, the process of ordering and picking up food during these difficult times was great, and the packaging was great as well. What was a bit of a letdown was the food, unfortunately. Got both breaded fish and beer battered fish, and I must say that the breaded one was definitely crunchier than was pleasant. The fries were not quite cooked enough, and there was not enough gravy on the poutines. Not a bad restaurant... Just don't think we will be visiting again.

The service was bad. We didn't receive our glass of water after 20 minutes of waiting. So, we left.

Booked party for 12-13 people for a birthday get together. They gave us a table that should have only fit 8. We squeezed in 11. Two people from my party had to leave cause there was no room. Food was mediocre. Took forever to get drinks. One lady said another waitress sucked and she wasn't joking. I'm only giving a one star because the Guinness tasted good. Not professional at all

Ordered the Battered Fish and Chips. To quote the owner " our orginal fish for over 30 years" it was RAW, batter still runny inside. Disappointed!

We went for a trivia night and had a great time! Didn't order food, but others in our party did and enjoyed it. Had leftovers to take home as well.

We drive to the Ottawa/ Kanata area fairly often, and because I'm gluten intolerant it's important for me to find restaurants that have gluten free options. I was happily surprised by the tasty pan-seared fish and mashed potatoes, both clearly marked GF on the menu. They were delicious. The wait-staff were very helpful - special thanks to Debbie! :) My mother loved her deep-fried zucchini, so all in all, a great lunch. We'll be back!!

Perhaps we went on a bad night however there only seemed to be one server for the entire dining side on the right side of the restaurant. It took 25 minutes for a soda refill which was asked for twice. Went on a date night. Do not get the glen burger - their burger patty is about the same size as a Wendy s burger! You d think for $50 you would get a more filling burger. The atmosphere was great and food quality was good. We will try again in the future with the hopes of more efficient service!

Atmosphere is very British pub like.. they have good beers on tap like laguanitas IPA.. Canadian .. mad and noisy. Good option for vegetarians.. the have Beyond The Meat burgers and Tacos!

Best fish and chips EVER! I had the Cajun spice haddock and it was delicious! Good portion and so flavorful! Great pub feel, super friendly staff and the manager passed by to check on our table! Will definitely be going back!

Food was ok but found it super busy when I was there with a youngster. Better to make a reservation and request a booth.

The service was AMAZING. Very helpful, polite, and fast.

The pieces were very generous in size, and they have a great selection of batter. Tried the following two:

Traditional batter -- light batter
Cajun breaded -- a little spicy but very flavorful

Next time I'll try the beer batter which looked golden and crispy.

The fries were good but I felt like the portion could be increased a little.

Ate here for the first time and loved the fish and chips. We tried 3 different batter options and they were all amazing. Friendly family pub. Thank goodness for a non chain eating experience. We'll be back for sure.

Went here for fish & chips. The value was decent, and it was a very filling meal, but it was quite bland and dry. Not somewhere I'd rush to go again.

For sure best fish and chips I have ever tried. In the menu there are 6-7 types of batter for fish. Good environment and very friendly.
