Awesome food at a great price! I was really pleased with my experience at The Glen. Our server was wonderful, as was all the other staff we interacted with. The food portions were large, especially given the reasonable pricing. The onions were quite underdone for my liking, and that would be my only criticism (which I would mention next time). We went on a Thursday for the date night special, but found that there was a limited menu for that promotion that we were unaware of (this wasn't mentioned on the website), and just ordered from the regular menu. Overall, a great experience and we will certainly go again.

We went as a family on Good Friday. We have gone previous years on Good Friday and the service has always been A+.

Their gluten free fish was perfectly seasoned and they made sure to verify who in our party has Celiac.

The server was very friendly and was very quick with refilling our beverages without even asking.

The fondue was very tasty - a generous portion of ciabatta toasted with a light spread of butter and garlic with thick and creamy warm cheese for dipping. Delicious! The fish and chips were tasty. Portions are generous! One plate with two pieces of fish and a side of fries feeds two people! Service was friendly. Decor is typical for a pub, nothing special there. Was very happy with the food and service!

Fantastic place to eat. Friendly and helpful staff. I love their haggis, neeps and tatties! Great selection of beer and scotch. The sticky toffee pudding is a great way to end your meal. We love this place!

The best fish and chips, seafood chowder and haggis around. Reasonable prices, huge portions and an authentic irish pub feel to it. Wait staff are friendly and wait times are reasonable. I highly recommend this place!

Been there 3-4 times and each time, the service and food has been outstanding
Food portions are VERY generous and there is a reason why they have the BEST fish and chips in Ottawa.
Awesome atmosphere, staff and service.
Thank You for making my visit a truly exceptional experience.

Makes it hard to dine somewhere else after you have been here. Food is fresh, fish is tasty and portions are large. Lots of other delicious menu choices. Staff hustles and the ambiance of the Restaraunt is relaxing and enjoyable. You will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed their haggis, neeps and tatties. But on this occasion, I was given a side order of poutine. I washed my meal down with a Scottish beer and soft drink. I one pint of Original Innis & Gunn and a tin of Scotland's popular soft drink, Irn-Bru. Aftermy main course, I ordered an appetizer - one of their Scotch Eggs.

Amazing! Delicious food, good service, cozy atmosphere. We "dropped in" for lunch with our entire immediate family of 11 people on Sunday and they didn't even blink! An all round enjoyable event. Can't wait to go again.

Overall the service was quite friendly here and I would recommend you check it out if you are looking for your average pub outing. The only reason I can't rate it any higher is there is nothing special that stands out about it. The food was good, but was your typical/standard pub fare you see everywhere else. Beer selection is OK but would like to see more local craft beers being served.

Their fish and chips are always amazing. If you are on the fence about your style I recommend the McConville. Their breaded fish is fantastic in a sandwich the next day if it survives that long.

Gluten and dairy free celtic options! And knowledgeable, friendly and prompt serving staff! So great too see that nothing has changed except the location since my folks started coming in 1988!!

It's a nice and delicious place. But you can't choose between any types of fish. You have one type that is prepared in different styles. (As an excuse, they are flying the fish fresh from Scotland to Canada). The prices are okay. For 2 pieces of fishes (A really big portion) you're paying around 20$.
Everybody should eat there for one time at least.

We have always loved the Glen, the BEST fish and chips in town! Their new location is amazing either a sit down dining experience or the pub side for a pint and a game. So great for date night or to hang with the guys for a game. We love the Cajun seasoned fish, or the breaded. Great portions too, they are not stingy with the fish! My only complaint is the mashed potatoes used to be the best, but somewhere along the way they changed the recipe...Worth the drive to Stittsville, worth passing by the Keg to have fish and chips at the Glen!
