Use to be cheaper, quality was better, quantity was better and it was easier to read the menu...Ralph, please go back!!!!!

I recently went to Rubio's and got one of their bowls, I believe it was a California bowl. It truly surprised me, I usually don't go to Mexican fast food places because we have so many taco shops in San Diego but this tasted fresh and a bit healthier than your typical Mexican dish.

The staff here are always friendly...even on taco Tuesday! :-)

Customer service is AMAZING. There are two managers there, one male with short hair and a female that always has her hair tied back. They always give me such great deals. There amazing.

Happy with the experience. Been to other Rubios and they are all usually clean and the food prepared as expected. Fast and hot.

I have been going here quite often. This is the cleanest and nicest coastal Mexican food restaurant. The service always has been exceptional. Their tacos are amazing and prices are well balanced. I love their coastal trio. It s a perfect meal and three tacos make you full enough.
Today I made mistake in my order (friend didn t want beans in burrito and I forgot to mention it) and Braulio offered to fix it for me even though it was my fault! I still bought another meal because we would eat all of it anyways, but i thought that s a beyond exceptional customer service and I decided that I must write review for this place.

Yeah it's Rubio's, not too much to say about it. You either love it or hate it. I highly doubt you are reading this to be convinced about how you feel about their fish tacos. I personally love Rubios and have always had a great experience here. It's clean, food is always well made, and service is friendly. One thing to note is they have a few rotating menu items that you can't anywhere else--hence the test kitchen moniker.

It seems to have gone down in quality over the years now that it's bought by another company the recipes are slightly different. Not too happy with the fact that most things cost $7 or more in there. I bought a classic shrimp burrito for example, and it cost me more than $9. I'll probably never go back

I love Rubio's and this is my favorite Rubio's!
Great service, spotless clean and often a new recipe fo try that you won't find at a regular Rubio's.

Fresh Taste

Tried Mahimahi mango taco, very good. Mango could be more ripe & sweet but overall still very good taste.

Grilled shrimp taco, delicious.

One of my top spots for delicious seafood. i've had nothing but enjoyable experiences here and plan to keep visiting. prices that won't break you. makes me feel like i in nashville again.

It was perfect. I had the Chicken Burrito Especial and it was so tasty and full of flavor. The salsa bar is to die for!

We love Rubio's!! Food is fresh, delicious and consistently great! All locations are equivalent but this one is our favorite . It's like visiting our friends.

BEST FAST FOOD AROUND IS RUBIO'S. I THINK THEIR FISH IS FRESH AND NOT RAISED IN FARM POOLS WHERE THE FISH IS PRETTY YUCKY.THEY SAY THEIR FISH IS WILD/FRESH CAUGHT. IT IS GOOD AND THE SERVICE IS NICE TOO.

Havent been to this place in a while. Food was much better than i remember and expected. I had the fish tacos plate. Beans sucked as always. But the redt was excellent.

Nothing wrong with this Rubio's except the parking lot is too small with too many food choices and the lines can get crazy long during lunch time. Avoid around noon at all costs unless you want to spend your entire lunch waiting in line.

I placed my order over the phone for pick at this location to save time and be safe. When I arrived I was told by the staff to stand in the normal line with the in store order. This makes no sense. What s the point of placing a phone order if I still had to stand in line? I ve ordered over the phone before at other locations and there was always a designated register for phone order pick up.

They always have fresh food and friendly staff who are quick in getting the other to the customer.

This Rubio's has good food constantly and the service is always too notch. The restaurant is small, but there are a few outside tables. There is very limited parking here, but there is some street parking. Lunch is very busy, so if you are close enough to walk it eliminates the parking hassle.

seafood... super yummy. The food was so savory. I'll return with my coworkers. It has a great atmosphere. Feels similar to a restaurant in New York I liked.

I ordered the shrimp burrito. There was more rice n beans in the burrito than shrimp. Kinda expensive. To me it wasn't worth it.

I had the blackened halibut salad and it was delicious. Also recommend their grilled shrimp

Always very good- wish they're portions were a little bigger, the side of beans is like two bites, but delicious .

Place was pretty quiet. Ordered shrimp bowl and mahi mahi burrito. Everything was pretty good. Service was great.

I ordered the shrimp burrito but it was more like just a regular Bean burrito. It had a total of 4 small shrimp in it.

Enjoyed a great mahi-mahi burrito on National Burrito day. Very juicy, very good and only $5 with a drink today. Place was clean, staff friendly. Thanks!

Love their Baja chicken burrito wet and their taquitos. Actually all the food is good.

This Rubio's is awesome! I already really like Rubio's, but this one is a TEST KITCHEN, which means they have items that you can't get at other Rubio's! It's fun! Check it out.

Again I ordered a California bowl with salmon with green sauce and extra pinto beans to go and get home and it has hot red sauce after expressing very clearly i wanted green sauce. when they get it right it is really good

This particular Rubio's is like being in back freezer ..really chilly..I saw people eating like they had a meeting to go to, in a hurry to get out...kind of funny...make sure you wear your winter outfit...

Dining room smells just like the bathroom. Fish tacos were OK, but had to eat outside.
