Great place to stay specially for concerts in 3 arena. Lovely staff and also a great place for pre and post concert drinks and get togethers. Very clean and well run with very helpful staff. Rooms are very expensive though. They seem to take advantage of the concert goers.

Loved The Gibson. Easy parking, great rooms, short walk to the city and local attractions.

Food and service is first rate, and close to the ferries!!

Our dinner waiter, Niamh, was a treasure. Thank you.

Stayed here as going to a concert at the three arena. Perfect location as literally over the road. A few places to eat and a cinema next door. Also the tram line stop is outside. Hotel itself is very nice. We had building work right outside but couldn t hear anything. Room was very comfortable. The bar was very nice but busy due to the concert. Would definitely return

This is a great hotel with a more "modern" twist compared to some other hotels. The beds are rather comfortable and the rooms are large and clean. The rooms have desk space with an Ethernet connection (capped around 20Mbps) if desired (wifi is free but capped at around 5Mbps). There is a breakfast available in the morning that leaves for more to be desired but does the job.

The staff is rather attentive and no one has been anything else but kind.

The grounds and hotel itself are faultless however food quality has dropped since my first visit. All hotel staff seem very polite and well trained.
The hotel itself is built on top of a shopping center at 'The Point'. The shopping center itself is empty with the exception of a Odeon cinema and coffee shop. Feels a little like 'Dawn of the dead'. This in no way retracts from the hotel itself. It has it's own elevator and entrance. If you are not the explorer type you would never know.

Rooms are always clean and smart. The are spacious and are equally as good as the Marker down the road. both are the best Dublin has to offer. If it's a great room you want then this is perfect.

Food quality is lacking.
First morning cooked breakfast was terrible. Scrambled eggs tasted of curdled milk and made me feel quite ill. I had to leave it and go without.
The rest of the breakfast items are as expected for this type of hotel. They don't offer option for vegetarian sausages like other similar hotels. shame. I highly recommend you ask them to cook some poached eggs. they take a long time to come out but are worth the wait.

Evening dining was no better. Restaurant was closed due to low numbers (No surprise) and they were offering restraint meals in the bar area. I opted for the 28 day aged Hereford rib eye steak. It cost something like 40 Euro. To be perfectly honest it was a disappointment. The cut of meat was bad and you would expect a 28 day aged piece of meat to have taste. This had none. If I had cooked this I would have been disappointed and probably thrown it away uneaten.
In addition I hate it when places hide food with fancy names for no reason. 'bloody mary plum' they just mean a standard tomatoes that's been slightly grilled. Nothing special and not a plumb tomatoes.

Highly recommended as a hotel.
Cannot recommend food.

We made use of the 'I want to break free' package.
Just to warn other potential users of this package - the 3 course meal on offer is the most basic of microwaved pub food menus. For instance, they microwaved chicken wings, doused them in a meatball-style sauce, and served them as a starter.
I am sure normally they have a chef to cook the food, but not during our stay.
The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were uninviting and lacking in power points in useful locations.
Good coronavirus practices.

The location is perfect. Easy to catch the luas, just in front of the hotel. The staff was super friendly, especially IVO. The room was nice and very clean. Excellent breakfast. Super recommended!

Paid way over the top as I did an advanced booking then prices dropped dramatically - lesson learnt!! to add insult to injury my flight was cancelled & the hotel would not refund due to advance payment. However, they did upgrade as compensation, which was most appreciated. booked sofa bed which was provided but there were no linens provided! My friend slept on the sofa bed with just mattress cover & no duvet cover! disgusting! not what you expect from a 4* hotel!!!!

The hotel is clean, a little inconvenient because is on a 3rd floor of a building and far from the center.
The staff is polite and nice except for a blonde lady called Ana who introduced herself as a manager but has the worse manners in earth and do not care for the clients concerns.
One of the most polite and helpful employee was an African gentleman (I think a manager) on the Pm shift and a young girl in the day shift with brown hair (I do not remember her name) these two individuals are true assets to the hotel and make any customer feel comfortable.
To those two employees, thank you from the bottom of my heart you made my stay in the hotel wonderful.
To Ana shame on you, you have no customer service manners and you do not care for people, so find another job , maybe in a mortuary, so there are no live beings around you.

Stylish-budgetish hotel with modern decoration. Complimentary water in the rooms is welcome. Rooms overlooking the inner yard are very quiet and give a safe option to sleep with an open window and fresh air.
Breakfast buffet is decent but I found the menu of the asian-fusion bar underwhelming, with the choice of spicy or spicier food. Will never eat dinner there again.

Had a good 2 nite stay, lovely clean and modern design hotel, Declan Wolf in the bar is a gent, hope he is on the management radar. Best thing is, 1 minute distance from 3Arena....will stay again but make sure to book restaurant in good time....Today 21-03-20 my wife got billed twice more for a booking they say she made last October, a week before we stayed there, they catagorically refuse to accept that we made no booking nor would we have made such a booking without first trying out this hotel. now they are making life hell trying to get our money back, our twin daughters turn 13 tomorrow and nothing would intice us to not be here for them on that day so when i say we would not have made such a booking I mean it. up until this I had given this hotel 5 stars but now 1. Get your booking system sorted...

Stayed out here on a Friday night. From checking in to out the staff where great and followed all safety procedures with covid19 going on. One thing they had done which really stood out was had tape on the door of the room I was in nothing it had been cleaned and sealed.

Covid a side it's a great hotel in a solid location. The breakfast the next day was delicious too, if I am in the area again will definitely be a hotel I'll use again.

Good location and handy but a bit expensive for what you get. Food at the restaurant could be improved and be more like the price. Bar is alright for beers and spirits but forget about cocktails, just not good cocktails. Food is really crap, did I mentioned already that?... Not many options and they are trying to be fancy asian exotic food but it is actually a very poor quality and not fancy at all. I have ordered everything from the eternal menu and nothing absolutely nothing is well cooked. Sorry guys but someone has to tell you and I already did it to the staff many times. I'm not the sort of customer that I'll be polite happy with whatever food, specially when it is also expensive. The rooms are comfy anyway.

Superb hotel and restaurant, staff could not do enough, room was lovely, location is very up and coming and hotel just opposite the tram. A short tram ride takes you into the centre of Dublin. One of the friendliest, cleanest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in. Highly recommend the Espresso Martinis. Very clean, very hospitable, beautiful little gardens, buffet breakfast is very varied and of good quality. Beds are comfortable and rooms are well appointed.

Excellent hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bed very comfortable. Very important to note that the Luas (local tram service) goes from right outside the front door straight into city centre. Food in the bar is healthy and delicious. Loved the noodles! Overall, a fantastic hotel for anyone staying in Dublin.

Very accommodating 4* hotel. Rooms are nicely designed in minimalist design, but with warm, comfy feeling. Rooms and bathrooms are specious and clean. The shower is big with rain head so it's fun :) There is an iron and iron board in the room - so its useful. Complementary water are served daily. Not too many amenities though - only soaps & shampoos. Breakfast is great, you got warm and cold options, and the dining room is very nice. Service was nice spotless. There is a team station just below the hotel - very accessible.

Stayed there on Friday night staff very rude and unpleasant not one bit helpful! Carpark also costs 14 for the night which is ridiculous and the price increases when you don't check out before 12! A hotel should have it's own parking or at least have the carpark for free. Couldn't fault the room it was clean. Overall wouldn't stay there again several hotels in Dublin in a better location which are a lot nicer.

A very clean hotel, excellent food which was in room dinning for us, very pleasant staff.
The location of this hotel is superb, right at the docks yet not too far from what Dublin City has to offer, the rooms are spacious and very clean.
I have stayed in many hotels across the globe during my travels and I can highly recommend this one.

A few weeks had reason to go Dublin firstly the room was 180 no breakfast included the room was nice but just basic we were looking directly across in to someone's kitchen and bedroom the overnite parking cost us 17 50 because we arrived 15 mins early not mentioned on website we found the whole place very impersonal wouldn't stay there again

New hotel in the docks close to trams into town. Clean rooms with good breakfast but close to building sites. It wasn't that much noise from construction outside. 24 gym but no pool. Overall good.

The Gibson Hotel is a modern hotel located down near the docks of Dublin (Located beside the Three arena)
The hotel has modern look and feel and has a modern bar and resteraunt surrounded by glass and lit up by star lights which adds atmosphere.

The rooms are modern and comfortable and have all the necessity's of a modern hotel room. (One small thing I did notice was the cheap brand/quality TV in the room, which didn't suit the ambience that the hotel is going for) The bottled water located in the fridge is complimentary.

The staff around the hotel are helpful, friendly and welcoming. I also ordered room service and this was delivered very quickly to my room.

The hotel does has underground parking directly underneath the hotel but this is not included with your stay which is very disappointing. (But at a reduced rate when staying at the hotel)

The hotel has easy access thanks to being right beside the port tunnel so it's a great option for someone who wants to stay in near city centre but also wants the ability to get out of the city as quickly as possible.

I would recommend this hotel based on the above.

I had a absolutely fine stay. Employees were friendly, I had a big room and everything was okay.
Except for the terrible room service (for that high price I don't expect a microwave pizza) and the room 501 could get some more TLC (the couch had some big stains and the tile grout in the bathroom hat some mold...)......

Stayed 2 nights at the Gibson, and must say we were very pleased with the experience. Front desk staff was excellent and very helpful, location was great, room was great, very clean and new, and SPACIOUS! Bed was nice too!

Our room had a balcony, which was a great touch, and offered even more space. The hotel has a lot of cool relaxing areas, a few very large and clean bars, one restaurant and a really cool modern look and feel. Very well maintained.

If we are back in Dublin, we will stay at the Gibson.

Located on the Northern Docks, the Gibson Hotel blends futuristic design with a nostalgic ambience. In the lobby, the planted beetle Ringo is exhibited in memory of the Beatles, on the third floor, where the reception, as well as the bar, is reminiscent of a rock relief on rock bands from the sixties. The rooms are great, the staff, like most Irish anyway, nice and helpful. I spent 4 nice days here and in Dublin and can only recommend the hotel.

Are unique hotel, the decor is incredible inside. The rooms are spacious and modern. Its location is great particularly if you have a concert, but the location of the tram just outside makes it ideal for visiting any part of Dublin. Highly recommended.
