I have been going to this dentist for 20 years, since Bill Coulman was alive. Always great attention and dental care - the dentists and techs are outstanding . However be warned: the office staff have a strict and inflexible 72-hour cancellation policy and will charge you for a missed appointment if you are late. If you have a busy or unpredictable schedule you might want to consider a different provider.

Despite COVID-19, The Gentle Dentist has provided excellent, courteous, and on-time service. Thank you!

Everyone from the Front Desk and all in between really try to put you at ease. They will work with those, who do not have insurance, so payments can happen. The employees of Gentle Dentist are great.

Have been coming to The Gentle Dentist for 2 years now and still love it. I drive all the way from Hilliard because of what they offer. Every staff member is caring and professional, they make notes in your file about what instruments you prefer, and they discuss all aspects of your cleaning and procedures with you so you are informed. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I've had several bad dentists over the years and only two good ones. This office is by far the best dentist I've ever had. The convenience of late afternoon and Saturday appointments is so beneficial!

We have been going to the gentle dentist for years and have only good things to say about the practice. The office is run so efficiently, I have never waited past my appointment time. Our 4 year old daughter just started getting cleanings here also and she is so excited every time we come, they make her feel comfortable and make it fun for her. I m glad she won t grow up with a fear of the dentist like so many other people do.

The staff is ALWAYS wonderful. My husband and I brought all three of our kids (all aged 5 and under), for their cleanings, along with both of us getting our cleanings. It was pure craziness for us, and they handled it beautifully! We didn't have to wait, and they kept our kids happy while they were getting their teeth cleaned, and occupied while we were getting ours done. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Baker, the dental assistants, and the whole staff!!

I have avoided the dentist for many years out of fear and the horrible experiences I have had in the past. I visited the Gentle Dentist on 9/22/20, I found all the staff to be very polite and actually care if you have concerns and are worried, the facility is very clean and the staff work like a well oiled machine, no waiting or hassles! My anxiety and outlook about having dental work has been changed for good. I will recommend going here to everyone!!

Moved to GD after a 25 year stint with previous dentist. After 2 years my teeth and gums have show a huge improvement. Aside from their work, the "coaching" and recommended procedures have helped immensely. They are also just a nice bunch.

I went for a cleaning and, as their names suggests, they were super gentle! I'm not a fan of going to the dentist in general, but they made the experience a pleasure. My one complaint is the price. Even with insurance, my visit cost more than 3 times what I anticipated. I asked beforehand what the cost was going to be and I didn't get a straight answer. Aside from that, the customer service was excellent and professional.

As always the staff is very polite and professional. And even we were running late they were still able to accommodate us.

I've been coming here for years. Always on- time and pleasant. The only downside I would say is that I've had a different dentist every time. That doesn't bother me really because I'm an easy check. I've been very fortunate to not need additional services. You could probably request a specific dentist if you went for more than a cleaning.

They are very timely and professional. The entire staff is warm and makes you feel comfortable while getting your teeth cleaned.

Loved my cleaning at the Gentle Dentist. I'm one of those people who normally are not fond of going to doctor appointments, however they definitely changed my mind!! If you haven't booked an appointment do so now!

I wrote a review for the Gentle Dentist roughly 4 years ago, because I just have to go out of my way to leave a review whenever I receive exceptional service...

But my experience today simply couldn t be left unsaid or unrecognized. The name Gentle Dentist could not be more on point. Seriously, every time I go to the dentist I m genuinely excited. And I don t know anyone who has ever been excited to go to the dentist, so either A) I m insane or B) I consistently receive 5 star service every single time I step foot in this place. I would have to go with the latter on this one. Although, the first option might have some truth to it, lol.

Dr. Taylor is INCREDIBLE. So kind, genuine, personable, and just all around great at what he does. 10/10 recommend. Thank you, Gentle Dentist!

Had dental cleaning with Sabrina who did a great job despite my bleeding gums.

Dr. Scott Bossert is the main reason I go there. He is the only dentist that has fixed my front tooth that needed vertical bonding and made it look natural. I met him at OSU dental clinic years ago and was impressed with his gentle manner and his ability to explain things clearly.

My experience with the Gentle Dentist was totally awesome. They take the time to explain the process and also ensure that you are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. I strongly recommend the Gentle Dentist if you are looking for a dentist.

The staff here are very friendly but as a patient you WILL pay through the nose for the services The Gentle Dentist provides. Case in point: I have periodontal disease and I was having pain in one of my molars. I went to Gentle Dentist to have it looked at. They ended up charging me close to $300 for an extraction and an x-ray ($273 to be exact). Also, they gave me a quote for a partial denture at $1800 - $900 of which my insurance would cover. Needless to say I didn't have to mull these charges over very long before deciding to get a second opinion.

The first place I called was Affordable Dentures. Having dealt with them before for my other extractions/partials, I was already familiar with their affordable price plans and friendly service. They booked me in two weeks later, in which time I was due for another extraction of my other molar. Affordable Dentures charged me less than $400 for an extraction ($85) and a denture ($300). Compare this to the $1800 Gentle Dentist would've charged!

I can understand that the dentists working in this building probably have a higher overhead than others in the area. I can't understand why these dentists have to charge such exorbitant amounts for their services!

The Gentle Dentist lives up to their name. They are gentle, indeed. Also they are very professional. As a new patient to their dental office. My experience was wonderful! And I am actually looking forward to my next visit. I will HIGHLY recommend The Gentle Dentist to EVERYONE!!!!!!

I was very happy with my experience. The kindness and courtesy of the doctors and staff was excellent. The chair massager during my cleaning was a pleasant and welcome addition.

This place is absolutely wonderful! I just got a cavity filled by Leland and Dr. Dexter and they actually made the whole experience enjoyable, which is no easy task when you have four hands and a drill all up in your face. I no longer fear the dentist because of this place. Every single person I ve encountered there has been so friendly. They even gave me flowers to take home! If you need a dentist, definitely go to there :)

Always seen within 15 minutes or less of arrival time. Care provided by dental hygienist and dentist has also been timely and excellent. Since I'm private pay, I find cost to be consistent or perhaps slightly less than some other providers for the exceptional service.

this was the worst dental experience of my life AND I LOVE DENTAL WORK ! anything but gentle. I took twenty minutes to explain a very serious genetic condition I have and why the dentist needed to be careful. he totally ignored it and couldn't have been any more rough on my jaw and face. I almost called a squad from home later. they continuously harassed me as a disabled person when I was sick and in the hospital over rescheduling. I had to speak to the FIFTH person to get them to stop. this work that was done later broke because it was done so carelessly. they offered to fix it, but I don't take kindly to people ruining my skeleton then giving it another shot. NO. they are discriminatory toward the disabled. their staff pretends to be nice, but it's absolutely fake. you tell the minute you begin to have an issue with their service. they dropped me as a client with a return receipt request after I told them I would never be back to their practice. to just be mean and rub it in my face I'm not welcome? for the record I have always been polite and civil to this company. horrible. horrible. horrible experience.

This is by far the best patient care I have ever experienced! Not to mention, they are always on time! I chipped my tooth at 9pm, they squeezed me in at 9am so I didn t have to show up to work with a broken tooth. Lauren Coulman did a fantastic job and was very speedy and friendly!

As an adult that does not have good brushing habits, I found it very difficult to go to the dentist. I don't want to be reprimanded like a child. The staff at gentle dentist are really understanding and have even helped with suggestions on how to best get new habits started. I am extremely happy to have found them!

Lauren was the woman I corresponded with for my first time cleaning at this practice. I was exponentially overcharged for a first time patient cleaning. I went on the recommendation of a friend and he was credited money for my referral and since I couldn t access my HSA, due to changing jobs, I was sent to collections. Even when I notified them of the transition. My credit score went down and I was able to pay more than 60% of the balance. I asked for the collections to stop, considering I paid a good portion of the balance. This was how my payment was received:

Warm, caring, friendly... My dental hygienist and dentist both treated me with kindness and a smile and didn't make me feel embarrassed about my poor teeth. They both were very careful and gentle around the sensitive areas at my gum line where just the thought of a metal tool touching it makes me jump out of my chair. I would recommend.

Great practice, I have fragile teeth and have spent a fair amount if of time and money here. They are great at getting you in for non routine appointments and provide professional care from check in to check out. I adore Dr. Andy but have had good experiences with other dentists too.

I have been a patient at the Gentle Dentist for over 20 years, shortly after I moved to Columbus. It was a small practice on North High St, but with great reputation.

Now, decades later, the service and quality of care is still excellent.
They offer appointment availabilty and flexibility to accommodate any schedule, including evenings and weekends. Upon my arrival at the office I'm always greeted by name, and never have to wait more than a minute or two.

The environment is super clean, comfortable and modern. But the best part is the professional and friendly staff, from the front desk, to the hygenists and doctors!

During my 20 years, I had a lot of work done, including cosmetic, but never had a painful or unpleasant experience.

The name Gentle Dentist is well suited and deserved. Thank for everything you do!

I had dental work done there, paid my part of the co-pay and then I get notified by their collection agency I owed them money. I even had the agency verify that it was paid. I tried multiple times to get the folks at Gentle Dentist to remove this from my credit report and they did not respond and would not remove it. I even filed disputes with the reporting credit bureau and it did not get removed. This was a mistake on the part of the Gentle Dentist staff and they would not resolve it. Bad business.
