Best of the best. Great experience every time I have an appointment. The name says it all. I never worry about going to the dentist any more.

Dr. Jensen removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth and I couldn t be happier with him. I have major dental anxiety but he was very nice and understanding, took time to address all my concerns prior surgery, made sure to make me comfortable beforehand and didn t make me feel like a bother for being scared and crying. He called that evening as promised to make sure everything was okay and quickly responded to my text a few days later when I had a concern. Amazing doctor.

The dental hygienist and the dentist were both great and as the practice name says, very "gentle". Overall a good experience. The massage pad on the dental chair was a great distraction. It gave my body something to attend to while I was having my teeth cleaned and examined.

Easy to schedule appointments and appointments are always completed on schedule and with minimal inconvenience.

Whitney and Dr. Andy were awesome!! They are both extremely nice and personable. Enjoyed my visit as always!!

I was taken back on time. Both my hygienist, Holly, and my dentist, Dr Baker, treated me with kindness and explained all the issues. It was an excellent visit.

It is my honor and pleasure to acknowledge The Gentle Dentist for the excellence in which they consistently perform on every level. I was referred to this practice by a trusted colleague, who had shared two truly heart-touching experiences that both she and her husband had, after switching to this office from their previous providers. My first visit was scheduled in urgency, as I had a sudden pain onset on a Friday afternoon, that I believed could need a root canal. My dental office at that time would have had to charge me extra to come in on a weekend to see an on call physician. As an alternate, I submitted an appointment request to the gentle dentist on Friday evening and was delighted to receive a reply on Saturday morning, offering me my requested appointment time of Monday right after work. I was so impressed with the navigational ease of the website and the attentiveness and new patient commitment of the scheduling staff. During my visit, every staff member I interacted with was professional, genuine, and compassionate. Not only have I continued to be blown away by the
pleasant environment created by the teamwork of the staff, meshed with the cleanliness, and feng -shua of the office. All that aside, I have had the most positive patient experience imaginable. I have been returning to this office for two years now, for both cleanings and procedures, and have had the most comfortable dental experiences of my life. My overall oral health has improved and I feel that all recommendations that the gentle dentist has made has benefited my life for the better as far as short term and long term health (oral and overall). To walk out of the dentist office feeling free of pain, on board and confident with the plan of care moving forward, excited to share my experience with others, and with a clean and happy mouth is a treasured experienced that I do not take for granted. I feel absolutely spoiled that my usual dentist, Dr. Andy, took the time to see me for the entire visit (assessment, cleaning, polish, and procedure). As someone who historically would cringe during their cleaning, due to sensitive teeth, I never knew that these dental procedures could be done in a pain free, mess free manner and it is so humbling to know the great care that goes into creating such a positive patient experience. Working with Dr. Andy and the entire gentle dentist team, I have always been communicated to with compassion and understanding, always left feeling relieved and completely human. As a patient, we can sometimes feel vulnerable sharing our health practices with experienced specialists, and I am beyond appreciative to consistently feel validated and uplifted after sharing sensitive feedback about slobbering , teeth concerns, hygiene methods, etc. I highly recommend The Gentle Dentist and believe that they truly go above and beyond to invest in their patients, creating a clinically excellent and extremely compassionate team that I always look forward to seeing during my yearly visits. Last but not least, I d like to share that I frequently am complemented on my beautiful smile, and I graciously owe it all to God and the Gentle Dentist. I feel privileged to be a patient at this practice and continue to be impressed with this entire office s consistency in creating this special experience for me during my short dental visits. They are always on time and efficient during my visits, and yet I still always feel like they take a thorough time, never rushed through and completely present during our time together. I was thrilled to get a text from the office to reschedule my annual cleaning which had been postponed d/t COVID19. I am so anxious when it comes to my teeth and often just feel overwhelmed with how to keep them healthy. Every single staff member at the Gentile Dentist is accomadating and kind and so supportive. They came up with a game plan for me of how to keep my teeth healthy and focused on what I can do and at what pace I m comfortable doing it. I d recommend them to anyone!

Quick update: 09/28/2020
I just had an old filling cleaned out and replaced. I was a little nervous, it s been awhile since I ve had anything done other than a cleaning. From the start I was treated with kindness and compassion. There was ZERO pain, none. It was one of the best experiences I have had at the dentist! Dr. Nash is outstanding! He checked with me before, during and after the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. He even text me the next day to make sure I was doing ok! What dentist texts to check on you?! I honestly love the gentle dentist and could go on and on at their professionalism, knowledge and compassion. If you ever get nervous to go the dentist or have had bad experiences.. please do yourself a favor and go to the gentle dentist. I promise you will not regret it!

The Gentle Dentist has been my dentist for the past 18 years. I have excellent dental work and am thankful for Dr. Missy Baker's work. In addition Jane and her staff over the years have helped me in so many ways with my dental needs-be it accelerated crown service due to an upcoming business trip or being flexible with me. I do appreciate all of them and professional service.
I recommend this practice to anyone who will listen. I also keep in my memory the kind heart and patriotic spirit of Dr. Bill Coulman-especially while we honor our veterans this weekend.

Great practice with truly outstanding, caring staff. My technician Whitney is terrific!! Safety/cleanliness top notch during COVID. My temperature taken in lobby before entry. Social distancing and face shields /masks worn by all practitioners.

My experience with The Gental Dentist is the best there has ever been. The staff is very caring and very thorough, as long as they are in business I will continue to use their services and recommend them to any person that needs dental services either a one time visit or on a continual basis.

I went to the gentle dentist initially because of the reviews and they do no disappoint. All of the dentists and staff are kind, respectful, non judgmental and want what s best for your oral hygiene. Definitely 5 stars.

I have been a patient at The Gentle Dentist for many years, and now my kids are there as well! I can't imagine going anywhere else. They truly stand by their name and are always kind and gentle, whether it is for a simple cleaning or more complex work. I have received help after hours when needed for an emergency, with a quick response (within minutes!), have always been able to schedule appointments with ease, and they are ALWAYS on time. Everyone in the practice makes it the incredible place that it is, and my family and I are grateful!

I have been going to The Gentle Dentist for more than 20 years and cannot imagine going anywhere else for my oral health. I used to have issues with my gums that other dentists have not been able to solve. With Dr. Baker and her team of dental hygienists, my gums and teeth are strong and healthy, and I have learned a lot from them about best practices to keep them that way. I always look forward to my appointments because I know I ll always get excellent professional care and advice, as well as friendly and caring service from the whole team.

The office is well ran and efficient. The appointments are always on time and very thorough.

My family has been going to the gentle dentist for many years. My mom took me when I was a child, and now I'm bringing my 5 year old to the very same practice. During that time, we have moved into and out of town several times, and utilized several other dentists. None of them were even close in comparison to the quality of the dental work, the skill and friendliness of the staff, or the overall atmosphere of the gentle dentist. We have never had an issue that was not promptly taken care of. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of dental work. As long as we live in Columbus, they will be our dentist of first choice.

As a girl who has dreaded the dentist her whole life, the gentle dentist is WONDERFUL! I am so grateful I found them. I ve been going there for 7 years now. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone! Also during covid I felt very safe. Thanks to the friendly staff!

I used to hate going to the Dentist. I no longer do because the people at the Gentle Dentist make it so easy. It starts with the easy check in process. I have never had to wait even a minute later than my appointment even though they are almost always busy. The people there from the check in, the hygienists, and the dentists are all so incredibly friendly and put you at ease from the beginning. I have found a dentist for life.

Dr Andy is beyond wonderful! He's always so accommodating, gentle and genuine. I used to dread going to the dentist, often having panic attacks just getting my teeth cleaned. Now, even if I need work done, I know I'm in great hands.

This place is the best. The staff is super fast and friendly, the vibrating chairs are to die for, and the water pick is my go-to teeth cleaner. I've gone here for about three years despite moving three times, further and further away. I'll never switch.

The best dentist. Amazing customer service and great care. I have very sensitive areas in my mouth and the doctor or hygienist is always careful and thorough during my cleaning.

Best Staff and Dentists. Most of us dislike dental visits, I do; however, the staff and Dr/Dentist AND Dental Assistants at The Gentle Dentist put me at ease. They advise on options of needed dental work, explain procedures and put me at ease. It's quiet and relaxing. Love the results. Staff always kind. For various reasons I had not been to dentist in two years. Additionally I have several teeth extremely sensitive to the high speed water drill. The hygienist, Lisa was very sensitive to my anxiety and sensitivity. She took the time to do a manual clean on your all sensitive area and did an excellent job of alleviating concerns and building trust.

I went to The Gentle Dentist today for a consultation and I was so freaked out (even knowing that they were not going to do anything for this appointment) but they made me feel like everything was going to be okay. They were so understanding, caring and kind to me. It turned out to be a really great appointment and I m so happy that I went there! I will definitely go back there and I highly recommend The Gentle Dentist to everyone!

The hygienist are all amazing, professional, friendly, and yes, gentle!! I grew up an army brat. If you did too you know what I m talking about. I cannot sufficiently underscore how much I appreciate all the staff. The dentist are all truly caring and take their time talking with you. Let me repeat that. They take their time with you. I ve never felt rushed or hurried. Gotta love that ! I m a loyal customer for life.

John is a first teeth cleaning toddler. Dr. Brittany Dexter was so kind and patient. She let John explore the dental tools until he felt relaxed and she was able to gently clean his teeth, taking breaks as needed. It was a great experience!

I'll admit it, when I was in my twenties, I only went to see a dentist when I had a problem. I hated it and was scared of pain. I moved to Ohio in 2001 and discovered the Gentle Dentist. They are so friendly, have an accommodating schedule and are seriously pain free! I now have 3 kids and we all, including my husband, keep our twice yearly appointments. No complaints, no pain, even the kids don't mind! I love and highly recommend this place.

Gentile dentist doesn t lie when they say they are gentle. Not only that but it s quick, I was in and out in probably 30 min. I love Dr. Cronin, she has been working on my teeth since I was a child and has helped me stay cavity free for a long time!

Amazing staff throughout the office! They are efficient, focused on patient care and will do anything to make sure you (or your children) are comfortable and well taken care of. You feel like family when you walk in the front door. My children LOVE the kids rewards program and look forward to their GD gifts and toys (and lip balm!)

I lost a filling on Sunday and emailed the office. Jane got back to me that day with an 8 AM Monday appointment. Needed a crown, but dentist Andy put in a temporary filling and I m on the schedule soon for a crown. Thanks for exemplary service as always

I had a tooth extraction scheduled there that never happened. I arrived for the extraction and updated my paperwork since I had a new insurance carrier. After handing in my paperwork, I was called upon and led upstairs for the procedure. They took an xray of the tooth they were extracting and furthered prepping me until everything suddenly halted. I was instructed to report back downstairs to the front desk. I got out of the dental chair, went downstairs and I was informed they couldn't verify insurance. I stated that I did, but was met with an abrupt "we can't verify so you need to pay now". I've never been treated like that ANYWHERE, especially for a cheap procedure such as a simple pulled tooth. I left feeling as though they actions were unprofessional and called my employer who promptly went to work to figure what went wrong with my dental coverage. About two hours later after calling a different dental office closer to home, I had the tooth pulled. This office (never seeing me before) took my info, understood there was a problem but treated me like a person rather than an invoice with a total. The other dentist took great care of me and afterwards gave me my total, which I happily paid in full even being giving options. Following all this, the gentle dentist sent my wife a bill of $112.00 for my tooth xray, even though she's not listed as a responsible party to my bill. Contacting the gentle dentist office about this, I was giving all kinds of silly excuses as to why my wife was billed. I was eventually hung up on with no clear understanding of what they plan to do. *In short... It is my considered opinion that this place cares more about the dollar than they do about the patient. I would have preferred a 'NO STAR' rating, but this review process doesn't provide that option.

Whitney my hygienist is the best! Today we did xrays and she brought me around to show me what she was looking at and why. She's personable and fun and answers all my questions.

I have been seeing the good folks at The Gentle Dentist for several years now. I was so relieved to find them! Several failed attempts at building positive memories with two other dentists in the years prior to finding TGD made me very wary about the whole profession. How in the world does one find a truly gentle dentist? In my case it was a google search for...you guessed it: gentle dentist. The rest is history.

I refer everyone I know to The Gentle Dentist. They absolutely live up to their name. The entire staff is so nice from the crew at the front desk to all the gals and guys in scrubs and lab coats. I love it that I now have lots of good memories about going to the dentist.

I have been to the gentle dentist two times recently after having not gone to the dentist for about 3 years. The care that Holly gives is great including finding the best way to treat your teeth for you, not just because it fits a schedule better. I love The Gentle Dentist. I have been going to see Dr Cronin for over 10 years now and have had nothing but great experiences. She is a great dentist who goes out of her way for her patients. The entire staff are friendly, kind and are helpful when things get difficult or complicated. Also, there is never a long wait when you get to the office. They are well organized which gets you in and out quickly.

Very disappointed in The Gentle Dentist. They were unable to make a simple diagnosis on a tooth which cause future costly issues done by another Dentist. Once I went somewhere else the problem was identified, unfortunately for me I trusted them and waited well over a year to get a second opinion. Everytime they looked at it, my Dentist and the others could not figure it out. The saving point was he told me I would not be charged for the visit as nothing was accomplished. Well today I got a phone call about the balance, and after a long frustrating call I asked to speak to the Dentist, go figure he no longer works there. I am amazed how poor the customer service is when you question their abilities or lack of. Unfortunately, it will be time for me to find a new Dentist and stop referring them....I find it all too similar that the Dentist I liked, left and the people skills have declined to this point. I predict more bad reviews in their future....

As someone who has hated the dentist her whole life, I am so happy to have finally found a place that actually takes good care of me and my teeth. They always say that they prioritize patient comfort, and I have really found that to be the case here! 100% would recommend
