Have been to lots of aquariums. This was vastly better than most. Lovely staff. Not too expensive. Very educational and the structure (you start at the top and work your way down walkways) works really well

We have visited the deep a few times as there is so much to see and read about. The kids and myself and husband loved it. You can quite easily spend a few hours just looking round. It was definitely a few hours well spent.

Fun place to take the family with loads of interesting and educational things to see but it doesn't seem to ever change. Food isn't brilliant either, it is sat under heaters for long periods and goes dry. Views from the cafe are good, takes your mind off the taste.

Easy booking, great value, excellent for children, could watch the penguins all day.

However, there was no point in booking a time slot as the car park was full and the place was heaving. Everyone did have masks on, but the floor stickers might as well have not been there as it was not being policed and small children were all hands and faces pressed against the glass

This 5 stars are for the cleaner lady with blonde hair who helped me escape a busy deep in a hurry with a screaming child. Id of not made it out as quick without her help and i was losing my mind. I liked what parts I saw and will have to use the 1 year pass to go back and see the rest of it. Thank my hero of the day.

Great place lots of facts and information but also colourful displays set out in a great layout great. Fantastic value as the ticket lasts all year. Good on site cafe. Car park only 3 pound for 6 hours giving lots of time to explore and eat. Great staff very knowledgeable and have time for kids and adults alike

We had my best friends wedding here last Thursday. I cannot thank the staff enough for the most amazing experience. They were amazingly organised from the start and so very helpful, nothing was too much and the staff were so lovely. Food was amazing. I would highly recommend the deep as a wedding venue it was perfect.

Really good, but very busy on a rainy Saturday in January. Still got a good look at everything, just a bit harder to navigate with a couple of kids in tow. Ticket let's you back in for a year though, so we'll definately be back.

We were really impressed with The Deep. We'd held of visiting whilst the Lagoon of Light was refurbished and I'm glad we did as it was one of the highlights. All the tanks are bright and clean, and the fish and animals all appear healthy and happy.

As with all aquariums, it's the big tanks that get all the attention, but we found some of the smaller ones caught our eye - we especially enjoyed watching the jellyfish.

The building itself is stunning too, and I would recommend walking along the riverfront to view it properly. We also walked into Hull as during 2017 it is the City of Culture and there are a number of installations to visit.

An AMAZING experience and a goo day out for family to go round. There is lots of information about each animal shown and you can stand in front of big glass panels and look at sharks, swordfish, massive stingray, fish, coral!

Amazing aquarium, one of the best in the UK, with some great views of rare and beautiful sea life. Educational and good for kids. Helpful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. Usually loud and busy though, with long queues, so keep that in mind.

Was a pleasure to walk around today, very clean, and staff where visibly cleaning regularly. Also was not to busy (09.30) and had plenty of time to look at the exhibits and didn't feel rushed to avoid other people.

An entertaining visit for the family, there is a lot to see and to learn here. Unfortunately car park needs paying, which is something to consider as you have to add this to your visit price. Though I'd still recommend to visit it at least once. They sell yearly ticket, which can be cool if you plan to visit often but would you ?

The deep, is a great place to take the kids aswell to go on your own, been able to learn about the world's oceans,

There plenty things to do there, and the kids love it every time we go.

And with been able to pay once and return unlimited times for the year is well worth it
Which in turn makes a great family day out all year round

Very disappointing. Really looking forward to a day out here with the family today. It was far too busy so could hardly move between all the people in there so couldn't see any of the displays. The tank windows were small so the masses people couldn't see any of the fish.

The Deep is an aquarium situated next to the River Humber where it is easily accessed and found. We have been twice and both times have found it easy to park although we have been there for opening time. From viewing other visitors as we exit it seems like a struggle to find a spot if you come later on. You also have to pay for parking. The aquarium itself is well kept and all the exhibits are brilliant, however not much has changed within the 11 months of both our visits. I find that the tickets are very overpriced and not really worth it unless you ensure you make at least two visits (tickets are valid for 12 months) this is the main reason for my 3 stars. Try to avoid school holidays as it gets annoyingly busy. Not tried the cafe. Took us just over two hours to get round all the attractions. Probably wouldn't go again (get the most out of your 12 month tickets though!) and would instead be tempted to try other aquariums elsewhere just for some variety. This being said, I wouldn't want to put anybody off going and would encourage it as there's some lovely fish etc to see - worth a visit if you can afford!
