A great place to spend a few hours. There are lots of interesting and educational exhibits. I visited with a 4yr old and she was totally enraptured by the penguins and the sharks.
We are in the cafe and the food was good value. There is also a picnic area if you take your own food.

Great to visit but very over crowded with people. There should be a max capacity. The car parks were full and inside the venue most things could not be seen or enjoyed do to it being too busy! But hey it's only my opinion. I'd go again! Hopefully when less busy!

OK

The online booking is a joke! It shows availability but when I try to book for 3 it says there's no availability and try a different time slot. Normally this wouldn't bother me but I've booked a hotel after checking ticket availability just to be told they aren't available when I go back to pay. THANKS A LOT!

Its relatively cheap and along with the fact that the entry tickets are valid for an entire year, however for the younger of children I find that they would become bored very fast, 80% is all reading and learning rather than looking at sea life. I imagine it would be perfect for school trips. So my lad enjoyed it today and yer it was an alright destination for a day out, will I rush back now I have free entry for a year? Probably not. If I was to go back within a year I would more than likely just call in on my way to do something else and just take my lad to see the big tank and the penguins. 1 thing to look out for though is the parking tickets you have to get dont require your number plate so do what I did and pass it on to someone else, my ticket had a couple of hours left on it ( more than enough time to look around). I would also advise booking online as it's cheaper and you can skip the queue, its quick and easy ( I booked it on the way to the deep). So overall it was OK and that is literally the only way that I can describe it

Education and fun for everyone, we learned about the sea, its creatures and environment on how to keep them safe.
Clean toilets, neat cafe with good food.
Family fun, we love it here so we visit regularly.

Went a few times as a kid and never queued, went during the half term a week ago and we queued for 45 minutes! I feel they could have a better selection of aquatic life in the space they have in but what's there is still good. Definitely more orientated towards children.

A good place to spend an hour or two. A bit pricey if you only go once, but your ticket allows you multiple visits within a year.
If it's busy, be prepared to queue a while to get in, but once inside the amount of people spread out.

I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to this aquarium. Not too big which is a bonus as I don't like big museums because I get bored easily. I couldn't figured out why they call it deep though. Any thoughts?

Very easy to find, Sign posted well. Went for a family day out and wasn't disappointed. Lovely clean picnic area with a lovely view, very educational kids loved it. Small issue that the parking meter only takes coins but was able to pay at the reception inside so wasn't much of an issue.
