we absolutely love the Deep. We like to visit in school term.time when it is less busy. loads of different areas and tonnes of accessible information. Today's are accessible for the very young, but also detailed enough to feel informed as an adult on numerous visits. The various viewing areas of the penguins allow you to get a full view of their lives in and out the water.

Great place. Enjoyed our visit and will visit again. Fully disabled accessible. I went round on my mobility scooter. Nowhere was hard to access. Very impressed as most places like this have areas that are hard to or impossible to access.

Kids loved it the tanks were full of activity, lots of interesting interaction, touching sea erchins, ice and observing all sorts of creatures not just ones that live and swim in water. Lots of child friendly displays, very educational just lovely

Top attraction. Well worth the entry fee especially taking into account that you can then get in for free for a year with your ticket. My kids love the place and have definitely learned things that they wouldn't know otherwise. Staff are very professional and welcoming, and are knowlegable about their areas. Recommended for any age group.

For the disabled it was First class parking, first class toilets scooter and wheel chair hire lift use every thing was great, not a fault to be found it was amazing the staff got it just right and helped a lot, on the ball and polite helped my family all over, thank you all it was a good calming time away and was able to enjoy and relax, aqua therapy watching those tanks.

Still an amazing place to visit, just like I remember it as a child. One down side is there were alot of pressure school trips there at the time of our visit which let it down. Obviously it can't be helped but a warning would have been nice

Brilliant place if you like oceans and fish. educational whilst being interesting makes you think about what we need to do to look after the oceans and also looks at evolution. The penguins are brilliant great to see them swim underwater

Plenty of variety with their marine life, tanks seem clean. The animals seem to be in good health and happy. Only downside was that we couldn't see any of the spiders, their exibits were empty.

We love the deep. It's highly interactive and educational.

It's not an all day event, however the city of Hull has so many other places to see and visit that are free it balances out well.

The other perk is that one payment lasts a whole year and you can return and visit anytime ( except bank holidays).

We love this detail because it allows for lots of sort visits rather than trying to get your money's worth all in one trip.

We enjoyed the Deep, lots of education value and teaches a lot about conservation. Really liked the reasonably priced cafe with lots of choice. The return policy is ok if you live close but we probably won't as live too far away.

Really like this place. Good that u also get the ticket to go all year round, although there is only so many times u want to visit in 1 year. I took my, now then partner here also for his birthday for the 1st time and he also really enjoyed it.

Good day out with family ranging from 2 to 9 year olds. Something for everyone. Good demonstrations throughout the day. Cafe very reasonanly priced and reasonable food. One really annoying thing.... loads of the information boards have 'fishes' written on them. The plural of fish is fish not fishes!!!! For a major exhibition it is a major error!

Had a wonderful day at the Deep. The staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and tidy and the exhibits were fantastic. We got the year pass so will definitely be going back.

Is a great place to go visit, even on the busiest days there's a lot to do. Whether with children or just adults, there's a whole range of features that do change and as such make wonders you never found before.

Trouble is some old features seem to either not work or need a bit of maintenance but they're few and far between.

This was my first time in a place like this. Really suggestive. If you think how big is the world under the see, you'll understand how small we are and how much we should do to save this beautiful world we live in. While you walk in the museum, remember to take the oceanic lift to see a shark swimming next to you!
Don't throw your ticket away! You'll be allowed to come back as many times as you want for a whole year at no extra cost!

Its just over and hours travel for me and in fairness although i was impressed with whats there we got round it all in about 40 mins there just isnt much to keep you entertained for any longer than that

Disappointed, I thought it was bigger than I expected ... one cafe was closed. No floor directions, no staff around. only staff I found were in cafe and near entry /exit gates. Expected fish tunnel to be bigger/ longer than it was, but otherwise clean and tidy place. clean viewing windows. We just got to the end and had to ask if that was it, as there were no directions at all to let you know if you had reached an end . The really good thing about this is the deep allow you to come back for free . I did expect a touching area, where you could touch feel certain creatures crabs, star fish and others etc I thought they had this. So partly disappointed but great event too oh and well done on the home cooked food it looked home cooked and tasted lovely very important but felt for server as he was doing this alone with a queue a mile long .
Was reading reviews seems very automated response when people are taking there time energy to leave a review ... I know you have a lot to get through but makes people feel unappreciated. And why should I have bothered ...
