Nice day out, very informative, might come to one of the quiet days.
Great for a day out. Amazing views from different angles on large tanks. Beautiful fish with a large variety. Staff members giving some facts about the fish which was a good touch.
The place is just ok. Not recommended if you are living far away. Not free. For kids. Not really very facinating from inside.
Top day out looking at fishes and watching penguins. Pay once, visit for a year. Big tank with sharks is a winner with the kids
Very expensive for how short the experience is. Worked out ok with a 2 year old and return visit.
we absolutely love the Deep. We like to visit in school term.time when it is less busy. loads of different areas and tonnes of accessible information. Today's are accessible for the very young, but also detailed enough to feel informed as an adult on numerous visits. The various viewing areas of the penguins allow you to get a full view of their lives in and out the water.
Great place. Enjoyed our visit and will visit again. Fully disabled accessible. I went round on my mobility scooter. Nowhere was hard to access. Very impressed as most places like this have areas that are hard to or impossible to access.
Kids loved it the tanks were full of activity, lots of interesting interaction, touching sea erchins, ice and observing all sorts of creatures not just ones that live and swim in water. Lots of child friendly displays, very educational just lovely
Informative, fun , educational good day out and you can come as many times as you like in a year with the same ticket Bargin ...
Fantastic family favourite which we visit over and over again. The animals are all very well cared for and there's plenty of space.
Good place to visit.the cost does cover revisits for the year but once you've seen it once there's no surprises
me and my wife
& daughter son-inlaw and grandson visited here some time back
I don't know why but think I was expecting a lot more from this place
I can say that I have been but that's about it
Amazing variety of fish, penguins and other live exhibits. Very educational venue with much interest for adults and children alike.
Very enjoyable day..interesting facts and learning , fascinating aquariums for the kids and adults to see..Food very reasonabky priced..
Just go with family and leave your troubles behind !
Good 1/2 day out when it s raining, kids loved it !
Excellent, this is how an aquarium should be done, and the restaurant was terrific
Love the penguins, and the fact that if you go once - you can use your ticket to get in free for the next year!!
Always love The Deep! Such a brilliant place to take children, so many things to enjoy for all ages. Cafe isn't spectacular but fills a hole. Fantastic value if you buy the yearly pass.
Great family day out. But very busy loads of pushchairs if you are after a quieter place go early :)
Great place for the kids. Loads to see and do and the canteen was a bit mega. 9/10 i would like to go again.
A very good visit and educational place to see nature at its best
Great family place, pay once visit all year, new photo service as you arrive for your year pass
Been here with kids a couple of times and they enjoy themselves on each visit. Some great exhibits, knowledgeable staff and enough to keep you busy for a couple of hours at least.
Really good and interesting. Unfortunately ruined by kids running rampant everywhere
Good place to go for a look but I do think it's expensive for what's there
Top attraction. Well worth the entry fee especially taking into account that you can then get in for free for a year with your ticket. My kids love the place and have definitely learned things that they wouldn't know otherwise. Staff are very professional and welcoming, and are knowlegable about their areas. Recommended for any age group.
For the disabled it was First class parking, first class toilets scooter and wheel chair hire lift use every thing was great, not a fault to be found it was amazing the staff got it just right and helped a lot, on the ball and polite helped my family all over, thank you all it was a good calming time away and was able to enjoy and relax, aqua therapy watching those tanks.
My husband, daughter and I had a lovely time at the deep. Beautiful experience and family friendly. Will definitely go there again.
Still an amazing place to visit, just like I remember it as a child. One down side is there were alot of pressure school trips there at the time of our visit which let it down. Obviously it can't be helped but a warning would have been nice
Brilliant place if you like oceans and fish. educational whilst being interesting makes you think about what we need to do to look after the oceans and also looks at evolution. The penguins are brilliant great to see them swim underwater
Car park payed separate. Crowd and not big exhibit. But great place for small children's.
Good walk around, keeps you busy for a good few hours recommend buying online for fast track in summer/busier periods
Plenty of variety with their marine life, tanks seem clean. The animals seem to be in good health and happy. Only downside was that we couldn't see any of the spiders, their exibits were empty.
Dynamic displays, excitingly educational , awesome aquariums and fantastic food. Well worth a visit.
Done go on bank holiday very busy very good when we got in .
Great place to visit and brilliant deal on once you've paid you get a years free entry .
Great for kids of all ages, plus your ticket lasts for a year (weekdays only)
Great for a day out. Especially for families with young children
We love the deep. It's highly interactive and educational.
It's not an all day event, however the city of Hull has so many other places to see and visit that are free it balances out well.
The other perk is that one payment lasts a whole year and you can return and visit anytime ( except bank holidays).
We love this detail because it allows for lots of sort visits rather than trying to get your money's worth all in one trip.
Nice place but they need to invest so that the place doesn't begin to become tired
Every child should go there. It is so interesting for them
We enjoyed the Deep, lots of education value and teaches a lot about conservation. Really liked the reasonably priced cafe with lots of choice. The return policy is ok if you live close but we probably won't as live too far away.
Nothing different since last visit 12mths ago. Still worth a visit.
Its OK and not too baddly priced when you consider that you can go unlimited times within 12 months but its not the biggest place and some of he exhibits are in poor condition.
A brilliant place to visit. You could lose yourself quite easily with so much going on
Great place to spend day with kids, and there is great place to eat too
Really like this place. Good that u also get the ticket to go all year round, although there is only so many times u want to visit in 1 year. I took my, now then partner here also for his birthday for the 1st time and he also really enjoyed it.
Good day out with family ranging from 2 to 9 year olds. Something for everyone. Good demonstrations throughout the day. Cafe very reasonanly priced and reasonable food. One really annoying thing.... loads of the information boards have 'fishes' written on them. The plural of fish is fish not fishes!!!! For a major exhibition it is a major error!
For one of the best oceanariums, I expected something better. But it's impressive.
Oh my God, the most incredible aquarium I have ever been.
Oceanarium cool ticket you buy once and you go all year very cleanly you can buy a dinner on the spot
A great place to visit for both children and adults
Great day out and good to take advantage of the year free pass
Great experience and a chance to go back for free within a year. The fish looked well looked after. A lovely experience, would recommend a visit
Lovely afternoon out, food not exactly value for money
My kids love fish and sharks so perfect day out for our family
Glad I went but thought there was more to it, however been a tax payer gives you the benefit to a free yearly pass, so it would be worth seeing again for something to do based on that.
Had a wonderful day at the Deep. The staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and tidy and the exhibits were fantastic. We got the year pass so will definitely be going back.
Is a great place to go visit, even on the busiest days there's a lot to do. Whether with children or just adults, there's a whole range of features that do change and as such make wonders you never found before.
Trouble is some old features seem to either not work or need a bit of maintenance but they're few and far between.
This was my first time in a place like this. Really suggestive. If you think how big is the world under the see, you'll understand how small we are and how much we should do to save this beautiful world we live in. While you walk in the museum, remember to take the oceanic lift to see a shark swimming next to you!
Don't throw your ticket away! You'll be allowed to come back as many times as you want for a whole year at no extra cost!
Lots to see and really interesting for the kids, some hands on stuff and decent food.
Its just over and hours travel for me and in fairness although i was impressed with whats there we got round it all in about 40 mins there just isnt much to keep you entertained for any longer than that
Great place, really reasonably priced and you get to revisit for free over the next 12 months. If you purchase your tickets online you also save 10%.
Disappointed, I thought it was bigger than I expected ... one cafe was closed. No floor directions, no staff around. only staff I found were in cafe and near entry /exit gates. Expected fish tunnel to be bigger/ longer than it was, but otherwise clean and tidy place. clean viewing windows. We just got to the end and had to ask if that was it, as there were no directions at all to let you know if you had reached an end . The really good thing about this is the deep allow you to come back for free . I did expect a touching area, where you could touch feel certain creatures crabs, star fish and others etc I thought they had this. So partly disappointed but great event too oh and well done on the home cooked food it looked home cooked and tasted lovely very important but felt for server as he was doing this alone with a queue a mile long .
Was reading reviews seems very automated response when people are taking there time energy to leave a review ... I know you have a lot to get through but makes people feel unappreciated. And why should I have bothered ...
