Wonderful family attraction. Excellent value for money. However have to pay for parking and food areas close quite early compared to attraction opening times. Great option for families on bad weather days

Beautiful place to visit. Unfortunately there was a large group of families that were ruining the place by running round on instagram live banging the glass of the aquariums and shoving us all out of the way but it was a Saturday morning so expected it to be busy. Despite others having no manners the staff were brilliant, free disabled parking and my husband got in for free too. All I had to do was show my PIP letter. The tanks were clean the staff friendly and there was lots to catch the eye. Going in for the price of one trip all year is great too.

There is a soft play bit for babies near the end which is brilliant but a shame it isn't checked on more as there were much bigger kids behaving silly in it making it impossible for the little ones to play safely.

All in all well worth the money.

A variety of sea life from a close view. Good for kids inorder to recpgnize these creatures and creat some feelings of protection for them and sea water. Great efforts of staff must be acknowledged.

Great set up. Start at top... All walking downhill.
The star of the show is the main tank. Many spots to view.
Parking can be tough if busy. Has a small diner/restaurant area. But many people brought lunch and were eating.
Great for all ages.
Take your time. Many things to see and there are shows at specific times.
Lots of people to answer questions.
And a great gift shop!!!

Amazing! One of the best aqauriums i have experienced; there is so much to see and do. The displays of fish and tanks are so beautiful with a huge range of marine life and species from different oceans. The colours in the exhibits are fantastic. There is two coffee shops and a place to eat packed lunches so great for children and all ages to learn and experience, definitely wheel chair accessible. Everyone really enjoyed the underwater lift at the end and tunnel. The large gift shop is great too esspecially worth buying some souvenirs. The prices were good as well, a fantastic place.

Extremely polite members of staff everywhere. The whole experience is fun and engaging with breathtaking views of the vast array of aquatic life. Being able to see penguins swim under water too is incredible. I would highly recommend for all ages even our 7 month old loved the lights and sounds.

Fantastic day out, lovely staff, very well kept Animals. Habitats are superb and well looked after. This is coming from someone that kept reptiles and amphibians so I know a little about husbandry when it comes to thing with atmospheric sensitivity. Can wait to go again. . . FOR FREE!! (Tickets allow to be used as a plus pass, so you can visit unlimited times for 12 months) Might try a weekend up this way and do Yorkshire wildlife Park too.

Fantastic experience, however with the current covid risk, I would have liked to have seen a few less people or at least 50% of them social distancing, obviously they're so entitled they don't need to do that. In that case I'll have to return to the statement a few less people and lay the blame on the aquarium as they just racked them and packed them.

A top notch attraction. Lots to learn (if that's your thing) and lots of amazing fish and sea creatures to look at, ohh and penguins! It really is a fantastic place to visit and you can return free of charge for the next year which makes it a bargain! Doesn't take that long to walk round 2 - 3 hours. There is a small cafe 1/2 way round the aquarium and a much larger (and better) one at the end. Plenty of car parking (pay and display).

Love it here. Really well organised given the current pandemic. Staff always helpful and friendly. I was really impressed with their toilet system with having one family in at a time this helped move the queue along nicely. They were in the 50% eat out scheme so morning cuppa was nice and cheap. Place had plenty of hand sanitizers to use especially round the activity stations. We now have a free years pass to return so will hopefully be back soon.

Will have to visit not over the school holidays next time. Can not hear nothing apart from kids screaming and you can only watch where you step instead of animals. Not very good for someone who had a bad perception of walkway as they are mostly dark could do with some lights just on the ground. I had to keep walking with someones hand not to fall. Otherwise all very interesting and informative.

This place is totally amazing!, staff are very friendly and full of awesome facts. Interactive things to do, all the 'residents' are just fab! My favourite was the huge ray. Bought a yearly pass (same price as a day pass) definitely going back!!!!

We love this place, it's all about conservation and not profit which is a plus, my son is very into all the sea creatures so this was the perfect place for him to soak up all the information about everything.
