Fantastic day out the variety of sea life is amazing the kids had a great time as well as the adults. The cafe had really nice food too. We went during school term time which meant it wasn't as busy and we got parked easily the car park was reasonably priced, everything was reasonably priced here.

A lot of work has gone into producing a really good tourist attraction.
The Deep is informative and relaxing and like nothing else in the region., I highly recommend it, especially as the ticket price is for multiple entries. .

Visited today and must say we felt the most unsafe we have since the start of Covid! No social distancing, there are marks on the floor, however no one takes any notice and there are no staff there to implement the rules! Was pretty much Impossible to view anything due to the over crowding, I wish I had taken a picture of the crowds as we couldn t believe what we were seeing. We rushed through as quickly as we could and won t be returning anytime soon which is such a shame as we were here almost weekly before lockdown. It s basically a Covid outbreak waiting to happen!

Very fun and immersive. Good for kids -> adults.
Easy to find and access. Route through has a good flow and the range of information and sralife is incredible.
Good food for a reasonable price! Always rare in a place like this.
Cafe and sights are awesome.

Slight issues -
Cafe/access to food and drink, only appeared to be one location so you have to go back to the start and then head back in? Small picnic area would be ideal for that but there wasnt even a functioning drinks machine enroute through.
Paying for parking, I know space is a premium but this always really annoys me, tbf, it's not that expensive.

Had an incredible day out with my 6month old, sensory heaven for her, could make more use out of colours/lights I'm the deep sea areas but makes up for it elsewhere.
Thankyou for a lovely day out!

Otherwise would be perfect

We love the Deep and pleased the tickets last for a year as we visited each day over a three day trip and once more since then. Fantastic wildlife in beautiful habitats and so much to take in. Good facilities, lots of toilets, restaurant seemed reasonable (asked for tap water to save on drinks!) with a cracking view.

Enjoyed whizzing round on my wheelchair.... Felt easy access and staff super helpful.

'Kin Amazing.
All aspects.
Went once last year and again now.
Soooo much for the kids to do, see and learn. Also great fun and information for us the adults too.
One downside, the FOOD! last time after we were done we ordered pasta which tasted OLD and my Mrs was lucky enough to find 2 hairs in her food...my fish n chips tasted like the cheapest, driest most blandest EVER!! This time we took our own (",) )

Absolutely loved it. We brought our 2 Yr old granddaughter who loved the penguins. Her giggles have made wonderful memories. She also thought the fish were 'flying'
Great friendly staff, was just a little awkward access at times as I have a larger wheelchair than most. Can't wait to return.

Me and my family have bought a yearly pass and visit often. My son loves seeing all the fish and penguins. For a yearly pass is really cheap and my son gets in free due to his age. I'd strongly recommend going.

A really well-made aquarium that first plunges into the history of life. Finally, of course, offers many large and small aquariums with various fish, corals, turtles, jellyfish, but also deals with environmental aspects.
Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. There are many child-friendly information stations and knowledge games, as well as an indoor playground. Buying tickets online is financially worthwhile, you have no advantage in terms of time, but have to do it as normal. In terms of price, I find the tickets rather cheap.

Offer good discounts on entry, clean and tidy, a good day out for families or couples alike. The food in restaurant is good quality. Parking can be a struggle at peak times but is managed well by staff. Expect to spend multiple hours if looking at every exhibit. The insect section is brilliant.

A bit of a let down from what I read i thought it was going to be a huge place, but I think my local sea life centre had more in it including seals and sea birds. it took me two and a half hours to get there (from Norfolk) and we saw every thing in two including eating our picnic not worth a second visit. even though we can get in for free next time

Being a childminder I go here a lot of times a year. The yearly pass is well worth it. I've only eaten here a couple of times and both times the food was nice. Lots for the kiddies to see and do. We're never fed up of going.

Not a bad day, but having heard so much about this great attraction was actually left a little disappointed. Lots of interactive displays that were well thought out and very well presented, but I was surprised at how few actual fish there were! A couple of big tanks and then numerous small ones, but the high degree of video presented material means the attraction is less suited to young kids (<5) than others I've visited.

This place has a large representation of the amoun...

This place has a large representation of the amount of time the Earth has been in existence even before you get to the main tank. I have been taking my son here for years and he gets more out of each visit as he grows up and he's going to get even more in the future.

The main tank is huge! It is difficult to describe just how big it is. It comfortably accommodates two saw fish which are bigger than a human along with a lot of other sea creatures.

There's more to The Deep than just the big main tank as there are plenty of smaller tanks to display smaller species along with a colony of penguins. There's also a section covering the darker depths of the ocean.

Sir Patrick Stewart narrating is also a great hit.

One recommendation though: if you can, take the stairs at the end rather than the lift. You can take your time and the second window you get to is very close to where the saw fish take a rest.

You can easily spend 4 hours here so it's useful that there's a cafe half way through in addition to the main restaurant at the start/ end.

The cost of a ticket is best thought of as a ticket for a year. You will always find something else to see the next time you visit. A new section has recently opened that shows how such a place is maintained as it uses (and reuses- they're big on the environmental issues unsurprisingly) a lot of water.

So if you're interested in sea life or space or penguins or ancient prehistoric times or bugs or recycling/ marine conservation there's plenty for you here.
