A great place to visit with children. There were plenty of interactive exhibits suitable for our 4 year old, while our two year old and six month old baby enjoyed looking at the fish. 2 hours was just about right.

The deep do a lovely wedding thay make sure that everything is perfect

My first time at the deep and I loved it. Definitely will go back soon seems as you pay once and can go back all year!

Great visual experience for toddlers. Lifts and ramps make pushchair access easy. There's also a small soft play area for toddlers which is basic but good enough.

Lovely day out with the family. Must be the best aquarium in the country.

Loved the Deep! So interesting and the way the exhibits are set up is really spectacular and a lot different to local smaller aquariums. A real treat for all of us, our younger kids loved it especially and we really loved that a lot of the tanks were at floor level so they could see in themselves without us having to lift them up all the time as you do at a lot of aquariums and zoos etc.

Lost of different species of fish, great for the kids. My daughter (2) loves it.

All set out for social distancing and still a brilliant day out.

A good 2nhalf 3hrs spent walking round and having an indoor picnic with my granddaughters, one price pays for all year very good value xx

Fun, interesting and full of things to do. Probably not much for very young children to do though.

2 hours in a car for what? Meant to be a family day out that turned into chaos as it was very, very busy and very wasn t much there. I feel as if I could of had a better time doing stuff around the house than this. Not my thing, not a good day out and not a good aquarium

Its actually 14 years since I went inside another visit is well overdue, so much to see, surprises around every corner. Watched the sharks being fed underwater they were like a couple of excited labradors wanting attention. I played hide & seek with a small octopus, she was very shy but curious, I stayed still and eventually she came out of her hide hole to have a look at me, made me wonder who was studying who?!

Lots of interesting fish and you can see they are well looked after

Really lovely exhibits however more could be done in the space. Though this may be better when the new exhibition opens in January.

A small aquarium with lots of interesting information and exhibition. Not only fishes, but also pinguins live there!

Try to be there around mid-day to catch feeding the animals (11:30-15:30).

Love this place. My 2 year old is always fascinated.

Seems really out of date with the interior spaces. Tickets aren't value for money and then cheek for parking money. Viewing areas are small and can get crowded fairly quickly. You do get a free yearly pass, but is it worth it? Nah!!

Excellent facilities. Providing good educational topics.

We was here for Valentine day, it was worth it to drive nearly 3 hours. We was at day time to have a look around and then at evening romantic dinner!!! The staff and food was just wonderful, no kids and just soooo calm atmosphere it was spectacular.. Thank you for a great time!!!:)))

Great place once you get in. Queues were terrible (over 1 hr) to enter, even with pre-paying. Once inside, it's really impressive.

To get there was a bit of wait and a bit overpriced. Whilst walking around it was a bit crowded. Most of the stuff there was for children.
Therefore I recommenced this Aquarium for young families.

Really nice interactive aquarium. Really good value for money as you pay once for a full years entry. Compared to other aquariums The Deep has more space so feels less crowded.

Great place! Not too big not too small. All the visuals kept the kids entertained as well as the adults ... Shame the roadworks on main road are so confusing but that was only negative.

Great aquarium! Friendly staff. It gets pretty busy in the mornings but if you go after lunch the crowd has usually thinned out.

Value for money. Good restaurant very pleasant staff. Lots to see and interact with. Shall visit again

RUDE STAFF. Half of the interactive exhibits don't work properly.
Cafe dirty and food barely warm. Do NOT WASTE your time visiting here. Much nicer places to take your family.

A sensational visit. We went around very quickly on our first visit. The pass allows you to leave and return later that day or anytime within the year.

All the creatures are cared for lovingly and the staff are open to questions.

There are times when you can get to touch an urchin and a starfish. It was a first for me !!!!

Try the glass lift which takes you up through the water and you can imagine you are a fish for a short time.

If you go to Hull then please do try and visit The Deep. My two boys (10 and 8) were enthralled.

I loved the place as much as the kids did. One of the best aquariums we have been to. They do a lot of conservation work too. A must visit in Hull.

If your local it's greats. The kids love it. You pay once and can have unlimited access for a year

I wouldn't advise traveling any great distance for a day out though. It doesn't take that long to walk round and you wouldn't benefit from the unlimited access.

We had a great time here, there really was something for the whole family. The price of admission gets you a full years worth of entry as well. The Deep was very easy to find as we drove from leeds. Carve out the best part of a day if you want to go, as there is a lot to see and do once you are in.

Good day out with plenty to see, reasonable prices, easy to find and plenty of parking spaces.

Some nice displays of marine life and exhibitions. Friendly staff. Not too crowded for current COVID situation but would have liked to see some staff patrolling and reinforcing safe distancing as some areas are tight and some people weren't adhering to the one way system.

great place for a visit was very busy with school trips good fun things for kids about to do good resturant and sovereign shop would go again tip buy ticket on line a little cheaper

Good couple of hour ,plenty to see ,plenty of info all way through soft play area for babies and cafe is reasonable price nice food ....overall I woups rate as good .

Great family fun and a lovely educating experience. We spent a full day at the deep as a group home educating our children, it was a hugely enjoyable day. Suitable and entertaining for all ages!

Love love the deep,plenty to see and do and pay once and you can go back as many times as you want ( except bank holidays etc ) has a nice cafe and great disabled access
