We ve been here twice now, our children loved it. We think it s one of the best aquariums we ve been to. It s very fascinating and it s great value for money.

Incredible experience start to finish. Prices inside are also really really reasonable. Very refreshing to visit an attraction where they're not trying to steal all your pennies!
Good place to visit especially if you have kids with you and you get free admission for the rest of the year included in your admission price. Lots of information available on all the fish, sharks, penguins etc. Also a nice lift at the end.
Been a few times great that you can buy a tickets then revisit as many times for the next year great for children of all ages!
Fantastic place, brilliant for people of all ages!!
Possibility of having a translation tool on demand, very well located conducive to education and learning of different aquatic, marine and bottom species. Each aquatic part of the globe is represented, including terrestrial and mineral as well as the microbes and bacteria known in the world. To see with family, with friends ... The part that left me a beautiful memory is the Antarctic with the ice wall and the gento penguins.
The castaway cafe wasnt that much of a cafe, very few options and very basic. It was unkempt and very messy (food all over the floor, tables and seats).
The deep it's self is lovely and very nice. Although I did notice a lot of the interactive monitors and activities didn't actually work.
Such a great place to visit and the all year round family ticket is fantastic value.
Finally got to visit The Deep years after it first opened. Very impressed. Great that the ticket is valid for year.
Overhyped , not much there, most aquiriums empty, long empty corridors, expensive even though non profit, tries to justify by letting you come back within a year for free.. I never want to go back.
Great day out for all the family! Lots to see and do, lots of interactive areas for kids to interact with the sea life they are looking at and learn about them. Great viewing areas to see the penguins. The tunnel under the huge main pool with tonnes of fish, sharks and rays in creates great photos and is an amazing experience. Love it!
Good place to spend a couple of hours. Can easily spend more if you wanted.
Excellent venue, although very busy in half term. Informative and beautiful displays.
Not a lot to see too much about the environment rather than fish for the kids to see
Interesting place, can be a little bit crowded in some places due to space. But my wife and I enjoyed it when we visited with a chance to get up close to some big fish.
Amazing place for kids, lots to learn and explore. Very reasonably priced.
Lots of fish, sharks ect to see, staff are very friendly and helpful
Cheap parking great for a soggy day out with the kids can get very busy
Brilliant for a visit. Something for everyone. Really enjoy going to the Deep and have been a few times over the years. Always something new to see.
Fantastic place for adults and children of all ages
For me and the family it was a very big let down. For the price I expected more and the highlight of the experience was marketed as riding in a lift back up to the top viewing the tank. However the near 40 minute wait put me off doing that bit.
Amazing experience best aquarium I've visited in the UK. The main shark tank is fantastic.
Loved it very educational for anyone reasonably priced easy to find once you've worked out Hulls one way system the grandkids loved it
The only thing thats good is the building at night.i find this place to be a cruel evil place Shopping malls is bigger than this cruel place wher they keep the water animals.shame on you
Good place to take children. Educational
A place to see sharks penguins turtles to name just a few of the many fish on view.
Best value aquarium in the country. Annual pass is the standard ticket so we go multiple times in the year. Cafe is excellent value and the views are stunning.
Great place for the kids, worth getting a yearly pass tho the first time round. Need to pick your days no voucher days and get there early 1030ish. 3 squid parking 6 hrs. Good day out for all.
Fabulous day out. lovely to see the penguins being feed
Been here twice & which I enjoyed more the first time. Some of the attractions were a lot different the second time. I found it quite interesting, but my son was more interested in running through it & playing in the play area. Would have been taking him to soft play area instead.
Many species of marine animals. Good location and nice service. Cheap place
Enjoyable visit with the grandchildren. Not too busy. Loved seeing the penguins sawfish rays and sharks
Fantastic Auqarium with some beautiful displays. Love to see and read about the conservation work they do, and the Jellyfish displays are absolutely stunning. Lovely place to bring kids.
Great place to visit with the family, the tanks are set up beautifully and the staff are friendly despite being really really busy when we visited.
Id however suggest a visit during quite periods to this place. It was really noisy and busy when I last visited but I've been before in the winter when there were fewer peeps there and it was fantastic walking around at your own pleasure and basking in the tranquility of sea creatures.
Highly recommended
A great day out, very educational and so many amazing animals to see
Great place to visit with the kids, if you really want to you could run through the place in a couple of hours but the real value is that tickets Brought act like season tickets. For one entry price I have brought the family back a few times and that puts the entry fee into bargain territory
Great place to go with the family. Cafe very reasonably priced. Highly recommended for a day out
Huge tank far better than most of these types of places.
every tank was amazing!! my autistic kids loved it!
we turned up early to avoid school holiday crowds and it worked!!
we will definitely be taking advantage of the free return visit! Happy us!!
Great experience! Love the penguins and all the learning. Just took my 1 year old and didn't realize they have a soft play and a baby group during the week. Can't wait to go back.
A great place for a family visit. Just avoid holidays or go early.
The place was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Me and my siblings were amazed at how many different type of fish there was. The food at the Castaways cafe was delicious. I would really love to go again
Brilliant, fun for whole family, 1 ticket lasts you for a year!
They have penguins...
Need I say more
Something for children and adults, not only living exhibits, but an interesting way to learn and understand evolution ...
Fantastic place to visit brilliant for kids prices are very reasonable and food prices also reasonable to fantastic experience and the views over the water are beautiful also
This is a great aquarium and definitely a top place to visit in Hull. A single ticket will last a year if you're planning on returning.
The Deep crosses many boundaries. Primarily, it's a research establishment that is designed to carry out that function as well as being a world-class attraction. It suits all ages and its exhibits are amazing. If you live locally, nearby or intend to visit Hull frequently, buy a ticket that lasts a full year. It's excellent value for money as it'll admit you and those who visited with you when you bought the ticket unlimited times in one year.
Can't hear word the hosts are saying. Some of exhibits are looking dated.
Just beautiful. Very good place to visit. Good price.
This place was great! Absolutely fantastic interactive experience. Sir Patrick Stewart does some bits of narration and while there were one or two things being renovated it is one of the best aquariums I ve been to visit. The penguins are a minister see and try to catch them during feeding times. Also, there are several places to get snacks and a great gift shop. Love the message of conservation. Definitely a must see venue when you are in Hull or worth the the trip for a visit on its own!
Good day out for all the family. We had two babies and the cafe has high chairs and microwaves to warm food
Fantastic day out. Educational and fun. Took my girlfriend and she loved it.
Nice experience but expensive. Been in nicer places. Bit disappointed
Excellent aquarium, my 1 year old boy loves all the fish, especially the jellyfish. Really informative and interactive for older kids.
Good day out wit the kids maximum 2 hours can be spent inside before boredom rolls in
Had a lovely meal at the restaurant, really enjoyed it
Really great visit, despite the stupid queue system for entry. Really, no pre booked tickets line?!?
Good day out with loads of interesting info. More a museum/educational experience than just looking at fish etc. Great that you can opt to use your ticket for the year as well.
I've been going to The Deep since I was young so maybe 18years now and it's still amazing. Especially brilliant on a rainy day when you don't know what else to do with the kids!
