Love walking round and seeing all the new additions and the big tank. I like the fact that one ticket gets me in all year round what great value for money.
My daughter went for a sleepover and in her words has had a fantastic time.
A really good day out for the price and once you have paid you can return all year for free. My daughter absolutely loves it so it works out as a really cheap but enjoyable day
We always enjoy visiting.
Knowledgeable helpful staff. A family favourite day out.
Awesome place for a family day out! Good collections of creatures and a handful of useful science facts and histories. Stuff are all friendly as well, and you can visit again for free!
Around a excellent day from start to finish.. very well layed out ..lots of walking but we'll worth for the animals
Wonderful aquarium, can spend hours there with children. Lagoon of light was a particular highlight
Great day out if you're interested in marine life or want to support the fantastic work they do. Obviously indoors so a good option for a bad weather day!
Interesting place. Very good for children. A huge plus is that the ticket is valid all year round!
Good parking. nice cafe. plenty to see. ideal for children of all ages.
Not really much to look at. Cafe was very over priced for what you receive. Wouldn't go back.
What a fantastic day staff warm and friendly. We went to the cafe the food was fresh best sandwiches we had eaten. Highly recommended for day out
Always love a trip to the deep. I come back all the time. You standard ticket gives you free entry for a year.
Brilliant day out! The kids loved it, so interesting and plenty for us all to learn and see. Definitely worth a visit. Plus the fact you can visit again for the next 12 months on the same ticket for no extra fee is fantastic!!
Not been for a couple of years nice to see some new attractions and had a great day.
Brillaint knowledgable staff, customer service in the shops is brilliant and a whole round good day out.
Well worth the price when you consider you can have unlimited access for a year
Lovely place and a great day out for the kids and adults alike
You need to keep visiting you never see everything the first second or third time I learn something new every time and will visiting as long as I can
Get the year pass and get your money's worth after 3 visits.
Excellent experience for young and old alike easy parking good food polite staff
Good for a family afternoon out. Get your ticket in the scheme and you can return within the year to see everything you missed the first time
Nice aquarium, but I'm not sure it would keep you entertained all day
Lovely time with our two boys aged 8 and 2. They both loved it and there was plenty to do and see.
Brilliant day out with the family.i would really recommend going, its far better than our local sea life centre in blackpool and the lift at the end is awsome
it's ok the first time you go. the finderella show was a let down though
It's OK. Bit expensive to get on then you weirdly go to the top of the building and work down. Needs more stuff to see and has big empty spaces. Overall not that bad for my son but really not worth the time or money.
Been a couple of times with my daughter and grandson. My daughter had lost her ticket, but they sorted it for her so we could all get in as a family. There are lots of interesting things to see. And it's nice to look into an enclosure and there be something in it. We've visited other places and not had the same experience. Was a lovely day out for us, and it's nice that there's somewhere to sit and eat, even if you bring your own lunch.
Large and very interesting aquarium, Elevator overlooking the pool, a large variety of marine animals. At the aquarium with employees, you can touch amazing specimens. The main feature of this aquarium is its large pool with sharks, stingrays and other predators. If you are in Hull, be sure to visit the aquarium. The best aquarium.
Very good for a family day out and really nice food.
Entertainment & educational for the family. Good disabled access
very disappointed. just been today to visit the deep everyone making lots of publicity but there are few big tanks you can see few fish in. felt like a scam I tough the price ticket paid for the day should deserve more things to see and do. Is a shame the place is big and have potential they could do more things with this place.
Went on a busy day in school holidays so waited in line for quite a while to get in, once in was far too busy and felt rushed around the kind of one way system due to all the people behind pushing by, we went with 3 young children and a lot of it was just displays that you had to read which for young children wasn't great, quite disappointed given the price, should have gone to the zoo
Wow, what a fantastic place beautiful, educational and fun. Stunning marine life and lots of interaction pieces for all ages, I went with my great niece, she loved it so much we had to go around twice. The cafe/restaurant does get very busy. Which is great value for money. We will be going again
I really enjoyed the deep, they have certainly improves areas since my last visit. Definitely recommend.
Great place well worth a visit and good prices. Well set up for the current social distancing as well.
Good for kids but thought it would have more on show.
Kids like coming here, especially the penguins. Great that your ticket lasts a year.
You honestly cant go wrong with this place! One of the better aquariums in the country and a wide array of animals. Also penguins!!! I mean if this isn't reason enough to go I don't know what is. We bought our tickets online to take More
Very interesting adventure for kids and grownups ! It will make you smile a lot.
Son absolutely loves the deep, can't recommend it enough. Friendly staff willing to answer any questions and guide you around.
Sharks and sea life centre look after their animals and they are good with kids and others
Good value entry fee covers a year of use, but not as many fish as other aquariums such as sea Life centre.
Wide range of aquatic life, the displays are interesting, wish it could've been longer. Can go as many times as you like during the year after paying once for a ticket. Don't recall passing many restrooms. The gift shop was a little odd because it had dinosaurs and other things not related to sea life.
Amazing loved it definitely be using my year pass again! *It's free if you leave your name and address.
The deep is a fun day out especially with children. A large number of interesting exhibits all backed up with lots of information/facts and figures. Tanks are all large, clean and well designed. Could be a bit larger as only took us about 3-4 hours including food/drink. Not expensive though as entry/food/drink is fairly reasonably priced. The only shame is that you have to pay again for car parking which in my opinion should be free as you have paid entry.
Personally don't think it was as good as the Blue Planet at Ellesmere Port, not really that many different fish, not much interaction once you've seen the main tank it just keeps popping up from different angles. Reasonably priced though, cafe and food good, just not the best actual aquarium. That honour still goes to the Sea Life in Torquay.
Unique deep water aquarium with excellent cafe and gift shop.
Brilliant day out, absolutely love this place. Great for all ages from toddlers to the grannies. I would however recommend a change of menu to give more healthy options.
Really good family day out, my kids loved it. Also if you ask them when you buy your tickets they will stamp them for free entry for 12 months at no extra cost!!
Fantastic place! Excellent price and very educational! I thoroughly recommend to all for a great afternoon out!
Brought the family for a day out when the kids was younger and brought my Dad too
Nice walk round, shame it wasn't abit longer. Think we went round the whole place in about an hour and a half.
I'm proud to say that the world's first submarium was built in my home town, and I always enjoy going there, if not for the walk along the waterfront, to see the exhibits. They're constantly improving the facilities and adding new attractions so it's always worth a visit even if you've been several times before. The cafe has a pretty good selection of foods and if you have allergies the staff are willing to help and accomodate as best they can. The best thing is paying for entry once gets you free entry for a whole year, so long as you keep your ticket.
Great aquarium. Regular talks and activities in various locations.
Words can describe how interactive and brilliant this place is. Once you pay you can return as many times as you want. The soft play at the bottom is good. The lift that takes you back up from the bottom floor to to top looks in the deep tank.....amazing. I'd recommend doing both....the stairs and the lift.
Brilliant! Spent 6 hrs in this place and so much i didn't see properly.....so going back nxt yr!
Great place to visit with children from small kids to big ones. Lots to see, very friendly staff. We will be coming back again soon
