Great place to visit with the kids. A very calming place for my autistic child. Perfectly put together with not too many bright lights. Very sensory for him.

Great for all the family. wheelchair/disabled friendly.
Good experience to have when you want to see the sea animals and the info behind it.
A great aquarium with interesting exhibits for all ages. It's not a cheap day out though
The deep is a great day out, we also ate in the two rivers pop up restaurant on the evening as well the atmosphere was fantastic next to to tanks and is such a great idea
Very disappointed with our visit today. We booked a slot for 4.30pm after queuing in the rain for 15mins then inside for a further 15 minutes eventually entered at 4.45pm. A staff member going round at 5.30pm telling everyone there was only half an hour left and we were only half way round. Couldn't get to see exhibits comfortably due to too many visitors and very little social distancing.
People were wearing masks and plenty of hand sanitisers but did not feel safe due to the amount of visitors.
Nice place but it is good idea to be there early when is less crowded.
I love this place, this time I took my baby out who was 7months old and he really enjoyed it. Lunch menu needs to be improved though.
Entertaining place, educational but fun too.
If you go once you then get entry for the rest of the year included.
Liked it just a shame the parkings so tight for family cars
Come here regularly with my kids as the ticket gets you in all year.
Brilliant experience, my 5 year old son absolutely loves The Deep! We visit 2-3 times a year and never gets old.
Always a pleasure but I prefer weekdays during term time as not so busy and you can actually see and view the aquariums and fish and also so my 2yr old can see properly
We've been coming numerous times a year for 4 years now. The conservation is brilliant and supported well by magnificent displays of worldly concerns in amoungst a variety of sea creature in clean well maintained aquariums . Definitely worth going on special occasions as they put extra activities on but equally great on quieter days so you can fully appreciate the displays and interactions. We've had both hot and cold food on our many visits and it's all been fab, and when we take picnic we make use of the outdoor picnic area and the cafe half way round with no problems. We haven't yet encountered a bad member of staff. each and everyone has always been happy to help when asked and if they've not known gone to find the answer.
Great place. Kids loved it! We will definitely be returning.
Friendly and informative staff and atmosphere, great for learning
Really good aquarium, have lots if fun here with kids & family. We have the year pass (at no extra cost) and are local, so we go quite regularly if it's a rainy day! Current favorites are the penguins and ice wall! They do regular touch / feel displays with the starfish and coral for the older kids.
They have a picnic bit, and a nice cafe so you can choose what to do about food. Not really an all day place but good for an afternoon or morning visit.
As always The Deep is a fantastic indoor visit for kids & adults alike. It roughly only takes around 60-90 mins to get around. The prices are well worth it (if you book online) and you get a 12 month return for free! cafe is OK, needed a More
Feeding time is 2pm watch the diver's feed the sharks
Not has good as what expected, but I am 48. The middle TANK is amazing. Great for young kids.
Excellent afternoon out very enjoyable and informative
Lovely place to visit with company or on your own. The staff is always polite and friendly and there's always a lot of things to see. The Annual Pass is a great idea and let's you come back with the original ticket you got. Plus, they have a lot of cute plushies at the shop, and there's two cafeterias and one restaurant inside the building. The animals are well taken care off and I highly recommend to take the elevator that goes inside the main tank, it's an unique experience.
Fascinating look into the undersea world. Quite expensive and not really suitable for easily bored children as they can rush round in an hour.
Always a pleasant experience. Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable
Good all round experience. Venue is noisy and echos alot. Could do with more physical displays of sea life and less interactive and videos
Great day out in rain to see fish an also u can keep on going as many times in year for free after first purchase. Cheap meals too.
Good few hours out. And the fact that the tickets last a whole year is a extra bonus
Spectacular and very interesting . Well thought out and presented Ticket remains valid for a year, I think. Great for families but watch out for buggies & prams!
Fab place with great displays. Even has penguins. Large tank has some great sharks and rays. Definitely worth a visit!
brilliant place really pleasant staff and they are complying with the covid rules brilliantly with 1 way systems and hand sanitiser everywhere great experience
Excellent place for the children but a big warning. Do not go during school holidays. It was noisy, crowded and the queue to get in was over an hour long. We spent the time just waiting in line to see certain exhibits and the whole thing only lasted just over an hour. So we spent the same amount of time queuing as we did in the place. You're spending your money on animal conservation which is fabulous and there's lots of great information. Staff are helpful and friendly. Exit through the gift shop. I hate to give it four stars but that best reflects our experience.
We absolutely loved it! Great day out, kids really enjoyed it and the price is great, especially as it is valid for a year.
Absolutely amazing day out, free return for the year
All little disappointing this visit as there were no large shark population in the tunnel tank. The penguin tank was interesting at this visit as they had two baby ones being reared.
I love penguins, ergo, I love The Deep.
Full of interesting knowledge and well informed staff (if they're not just a little too heavy on the conservation side of things?)
It's a big place so don't underestimate how long you'll need on your pay & display.
Lovely day out for us all. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent social distancing. We love the deep! Great breakfast too
Amazing aquarium, probably the best I've been to compared to Sea Life Centres. Amazing the amount of space there is and some sea creatures I've never seen before. Well worth a visit with reasonably priced food and parking.
For the price of a visit I would expect the place to be maintained and updated a little more regularly.
Excellent facilities for all people (babies to disabled) and exhibits. Nice and quiet today thanks to Christmas shoppers !
Good but quite expensive. Aquarium which tells a story of planet earth.
I was expecting more, especially for the kids! very disappointed!!
Great morning out. Loved all the fish cafe quite good. Sad that penguins not allowed outside.
Very nice aquarium. Well organized. Good to teach kids and adults the importance of our oceans
Brilliant. With or without kids, just brilliant!
Great layout and very informative.
Fantastic place. Staff are fantastic they all were polite, happy and only to willing to help. Very clean and plenty of cleaning going on in various tanks. Gift shop not overly priced my daughter was very pleased with her purchases Brilliant that you can take your own picnic and there is also seating for people to use x Looking forward to our next visit
Love coming here always so much fun and notice things I've missed in prior visits
Brilliant place for children and adults alike. Astounding range of sea life to gaze wonderously at. Could watch the jellyfish all day long. Fish are so beautiful and it is a disgrace that humans are filling their world with a range of poisons and pollutants. Good amount of educational stuff on display....come on people, we CAN do better!
Love this place - especially with the yearly pass option! The large pool and handling area is brilliant to get upclose with the fish. If you get there early in the holidays you can move around pretty well. It would be good to have a larger picnic area to use as it often gets really busy. Again, if you're early, you'll be ok.
Great place for the family, pay once and go as often as you like.
Lots to see and do, good cafe.
The best aquarium I have ever seen.
Came today with my 5 and 15 year old grandkids. Fabulous place, even though it was very busy, it didn't feel at all rushed. The kids had a great time
Absolutely brilliant.... Really enjoyed it. Great value great exhibits knowledgeable staff 10/10
Little bit tired and the drinks and snacks are expensive but the main tanks are spectacular with many different species of fish. You can get really close up. Will go back but will take drinks and snacks!
Great visit for kids, lots to see. Was very busy when we visited, but even so there was plenty to do. Staff were helpful and enthusiastic. Love the tickets that let you revisit free for the next year
For Children its wonderful but to me I felt it to be clostrfobic and you go along way ip to come down only to go back up to get out
Had an amazing time with a lady with autism the receptionist was absolutely brilliant and just helped every way possible. If I was to say one thing though the stairs to the play area aren't suitable for a child with autism as they can't comprehend how far in front the next step is and u need to go that way to get out. So we ended doing all the walk again.
