Really great sea and tropical life selection to see.
It's great for all ages, even children.

Great place to visit.
Stand out building in an area of interesting architecture, the staff are helpful and friendly, there are plenty of interesting areas as you journey through the attraction and very informative factual information boards in each area. Great opportunity to see some amazing and fascinating sea life up close.
Would highly recommend this place to everyone.
A very interesting and enjoyable visit. The place seems less commercial than other aquariums I have visited.
Great fun for everyone but some wasted space in the exhibit
Loved it. We took a very lively 3 year old and she had a brilliant time. So much interactive things to do. I highly recommend paint your own sea creature and watch it swim on the giant screen. Excellent entertainment for all ages. Well done The Deep
Took our 10 month old daughter for her first visit she was mesmerized by the fantasic tanks and displays! Really great place to take children plus the year's free return admission means we'll definitely be back!
Great expirence, took my whole family everyone was mesmerized
Visited whilst on holiday, really good family day out, staff are very pleasant also plenty to do and see
Fantastic experience, with great views of the marine life from huge glass sided tanks. Visitors of all ages seemed to be enjoying it. Friendly staff too.
A really refreshing change from the sea life centres, that all look and feel alike. You start on the 3rd floor with prehistoric sea creatures and you work your way down. My two children (4 and 7) loved it and there is plenty for them to do and when you can pay once and return as many times as you like for a year, it is great value for money and we will definitely be back.
excellent attraction for all and the staff were exceptional.
Fantastic day out for young children.
Had six children with me and they we're all completely enthralled by the aquatic life.
Although some of the equipment did not work, overall it didn't hinder the day.
Kids especially enjoyed walking underneath the water (in the glass tunnel) looking up at all the fish and the beautiful sites that we miss being above sea level.
There is a play area for those around 3 and under towards the end of the route. For those who's young ones need that extra energy to burn!
The on site cafe is rather pricey but there is a designated "picnic area" if you wish to bring your own food.
Highly recommend for an inexpensive day out!
Fabulous place for a visit for a couple of hours. Wheelchair friendly even with dedicated tables for wheelchair users. Worth paying a little bit more for yearly pass for unlimited visits
Booked still had to que over an hour to enter you have to pay for the car park outside too. The Deep its self is small and nise. It's on a decline path and starts of dark. The penguins are stunning and if your lucky you will see them dive and swim. Truly beautiful.
Unexpectedly small compared to how were thought it would be. Quite pricey however reasonable with the upkeep and looking after the animals etc.
Very good but very busy, sometimes tricky to get to see things
A truly wonderful aquarium at a very reasonable price considering in exchange for a few details you can turn your one time entry price in to an annual ticket. As you walk around the deep and you begin to learn you truly get a sense that whomever it may be who is in charge has a genuine interest in conservation and live by their own value of "for conservation, not profit". That single value is why, from where I have visited for aquariums in the UK, this is the best.
I really love this place we have been 4 times so far once with our baby we love it ... first time I went I was expecting a massive tunnel to walk threw but it s quite small and it s not very big but your can walk around as many times as your want and believe me you do miss things each time I would recommend it 100% going again next week
Great day out for the whole family and a single ticket buys a year's free entry.
Always enjoy our visits here. Friendly, helpful staff. Accessible. Tickets includes free entry for a year. We adore the penguins. Only critisum some of the hands on items don't work or hard to understand.
We enjoyed it, my daughter was abit disappointed there was no seahorses.
Great value for money. Kids love it and the big ones
Great place to visit for a reasonable price. Perfect for kids. If you're not with kids be aware there will definitely be at least one school trip if it's term time.
Loved it educational but in an interesting way. The big tank is mesmerising from all angles!
Love it here. If I could come every day I really would.
Great afternoon/morning out. Lots to see, brilliant for all ages. Fun and educational. Clean & brill disabled facilities. Ramps and lifts for wheelchair or pushchair access.
Absolutely amazing place, the children loved it!!
the staff made a windy, cold queuing experience so much better as they allowed people to go into the education room with the children whilst someone stayed in the queue, the children did colouring and was alot warmer than having to queue up with me.
Loved the day.
would be amazing but felt like you cued to pay to get into a cue that was to get into another cue to leave the animals were great to see when rude ppl weren't pushing in
Really interesting and big wildlife exhibits with many strange creatures like saw fish and wolf eels
Love it here. Great for all ages. I personally like the big thanks and watching the sharks, turtles etc. For young children there's lots of interactive things to do. Staff are always super friendly.
The big tank is great. Eating at the restaurant in front of the fish is magical.
It's great for children. The films and feeding shows are fun and informative. Loved the penguins too.
Great exhibitions all well though out and maintained Aquariums and enclosures . Small disappointment was no sawfish which is advertised
There was a long wait to get in and no one apologised. Once in the venue was spacious enough to accept the croud but there was some competition for a good view of the aquaria.
Great place for all the family. Carpark was good value. Food was delicious and inexpensive. Will return to look at endless amazing aquatic creatures. Didn't have enough time to see everything!
Wow what a day. We visited in the afternoon and we got to see the sharks being fed. The staff are very knowledgeable and only too happy to help. There is lots to see and learn. We love the deep
Breath taking! Perfect social guidelines in play, lovely day, brilliant attractions and absolutely loved the tunnel!!
Fantastic meal at the restaurant and in a amazing setting
Love the annual pass. Good entertainment especially in Winter
Great place to visit and all year access on one purchase is a bonus, once you've been once you go round in 20 mins but the first run will take 2 hours, still enchanting on every visit
Really well curated. Fantastic visual and educational experience for all ages. Cafe is very hectic at lunchtime at a weekend but otherwise can't fault it. Definitely would come again.
Very interesting and amazing value. Loads of different fish to see.
Brilliant for the kids great view of the fish and sharks
We liked Izzie and Henrietta the white sharks best. Very good interactive things to do. Robin is 7 years old and really enjoyed himself. Staff were also very informed and nothing to much trouble. Will go again soon
The deep was very enjoyable, a very wide range of different animals there with education and conservation clearly at the heart of the place but also enjoyable for anyone just interested in seeing the animals, 2 cafes including one which is halfway through the exhibition where the food was alright and another with a lovely upstairs seating area overlooking the sea. Theres also a little gift shop which is nice. Staff were very friendly and I had no problems throughout.
Great visuals, information and setup. Clean and well looked after. Great for a 2hour visit.
The Deep has the friendliest staff and is one of the most accessible educational places in Hull.
This is a great place. Well presented with lots to see. A 12 month entry cost the same as a day pass which is great. The hot food in the cafe was cheap but excellent quality. Steak pie was amazing. My children and I loved it. All staff were very friendly.
We took our son and niece for their 1st and 3rd birthdays. We had a brilliant day - the kids absolutely loved it. The annual ticket option is fantastic value and the restaurant is really reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again.
Best aquarium I've ever been to & I regularly go back to visit. The staff knowledge & interaction is fantastic. The variety of fish & animals is amazing & biggest selection ever seen in an aquarium. The care, conservation & protection of all the species is totally inspirational.
Absolutely love this place. Took my missus for her birthday and had a sign in the penguin enclosure.
Are you and adult? You will love it.
Are you a parent with child... They won't want to go home they will love it so much.... Even I didn't.
It's such a shame to see these creatures out of their natural environment. Please do not support this place by attending.
Excellent aquarium amazing tanks where you can see everything from small amazon Frog's to Shark's & Rays.Lots of interactive displays for kids to touch.
My favourite aquarium in the UK so far, staff are always friendly and tanks are always spotless with lots of fish to see!
Excellent great fun lots to see. Plenty to do. A bit busy with school children through the week but plenty of space for all.
We had a great time as a family staff friendly and helpful we will be definitely be coming back
A place for kids from 3 to 60 to go and meet all type of sea creatures. A most for big kids like me.
