First visit for me, overall not bad.
The place is smaller than I expected, but the tanks were mostly very informative and interesting.
A few tanks were empty with no light on, and a few of the interactive displays were not working, which was a little disapointing.
The main tank is very good, and the first tank you come to is really clear so you can see all of it's contents.
The whole place seems a little run down, with quite a lot of lights not working, and scruffy areas too.
We ate in the larger of the cafe's which was ok not brilliant, and did suffer a bit of an upset tummy afterwards, which I think might have been due to dirty cutlery there.
It's not bad, but considering the place was rammed with people, and taking the entrance fees into consideration, I think more could be spent of the general upkeep of the whole place.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.

My daughter wanted to go for her 6th birthday and was lucky it re opened in time. I found they'd taken good measures although I felt too many people around. Many not sticking to social distancing which spoilt it for me

Very interesting array of species including swordfish, reef sharks and dart frogs! Would make a really good day out for families or just anyone interested in animals- especially as the deep's primary purpose is conservation !

Great family day out. Very helpful staff. I will be bringing the kids at every chance with the unlimited year's access ticket they offer for the same price of a single visit. Don't miss out. Ask on reception!

I'm only giving the Deep a 4 star review losing out on top marks for their wheelchair access vs volume of people. Walkways a wide enough to have a barrier to create a lane exclusively for wheelchair users.
The venue itself is absolutely incredible, I love fish ad having 4 tanks at home it is amazing to see all the different types of fish from across the world. I could spend hours in there, it is so fascinating but what really spoilt my visit was the other visitors which in fairness is outside of the Deep's control. The constant screaming kids and parents allowing them to run around and barge past you. I highly recommend you give this place a visit but just be mindful of how busy it gets.

I love this place,it's facinating and is well laid out, you take a lift to the top floor and then walkig work your way down. Lots of interactive things for the kids to do and see inthe huge tank the building is wrapped around so even when it's busy you still see everything. The cafe and gift shops are reasonably prices and everywhere is wheelchair and stroller friendly.
It's difficult to discribed what a great day it it is there..so go visit !

Brilliant place for all ages, easy access all round for buggy and wheelchair users. Aquariums were really clean with plenty of space for all the fish etc. Loved seeing the turtles. Will visit again..

The deep is an amazing day out for all the family, we went with a 6yo and a 20mo and they both loved it. The aquariums are massive and beautifully looked after, but there are lots of other things to see and do their too. The cafe at the end is also quite reasonbly priced and the view from the top of the building is pretty good too.

Having really only experienced the sea life centre when it comes to aquarium visits before, this made a pleasant change. I found its unique layout interesting, starting at the top and working your way down.
I was impressed by its cafe as most places like this are way overpriced yet here I found affordable options for both breakfast and lunch!
We loved that each toilet had its own theme!

Perfect place for the family. Choice of restaurants or places to eat if you take a picnic. The displays are very well set out. It does get very busy at times during school holidays and there can be a long wait to get in but it is well worth it!

Giant main tank and a good range of smaller tanks along with a range of interactive exhibits and a soft play area.
Slightly disappointed at the balance between fish and tanks and touchscreen displays, been nice if there were more fish and less computers.
Cafe and scenic lift were very busy so we did not get to experience them, if you complete a form on entry you can enjoy free entry for a year which is a great deal for locals.

Great value for money, you can go back later in the year with the same ticket. Not the biggest of aquariums but the tanks and fish are healthy, the venue is clean, the facilities are good, food is generally well priced. Some of the displays are a bit cramped when it's busy but you can always go round a 2nd time to revisit the bits that were crowded the 1st time.
