Half term visitor, arrived at approx 1030, the venue is a popular visit and rightly so.
The exhibits are numerous, and well set out for all age groups, including push chairs as well as wheel chairs. Plan for the best part of a day here if you are going to get the most out of it. The pricing of entry is very acceptable

Bit of a disappointment, too dark and scary for little ones, no need for it to be.
Not much point in booking online (other than to save a small amount) when you still have to wait in the main queue to pick your tickets up.
Not better just because it's bigger.

One way systems work well for Covid. Very enjoyable walk around with plenty to look at. Worth going to get the free return. Feels like a quick visit but time passes quickly. Kids and adults enjoyed the visit from our party.

Super nice and interesting. Especially for kids. We were with three boys (4,9,12 years old) and they loved it. Unfortunately at the place nobody spoke German but with minimal knowledge of English you can do it without any problems

What a enlightening day out! A really nice aquarium with plenty of water animal species. The core tank is large enough to house many different types of big fish, you can enjoy it going down but mainly going back up where the exhibition starts. Good visit for any age. Thank you for the conservation efforts and for educate us.

AMAZING Aquarium. Absolutely loved it. I love these kinds of places and it was great to see the love and care the workers there have for the animals. The big tank in the middle was very impressive especially when we watched the divers feed the animals. It was amazing that they have very rare creatures there. The building itself is incredible and such an iconic building. Will definitely be returning again, especially as you get to go back for free one time in the next year.

Expensive, in need of refurbishment and thoroughly disappointing. If you've been to a Sea Life centre before you'll be underwhelmed by this place. Reflective of how disappointing Hull is. City of culture my arse.

Meh

Lots to see but don't go at peak times if you want to quietly contemplate the enormity of the oceans or stare into the eyes of your long distant fishy cousins (a few times removed). Not sure if they can see through the glass to see you.
Does some great research and education work.
Some areas act as child voice echo chambers,
Has brilliant views of the Humber.
I'd go again.

We love visiting the deep. We have the year pass so its good value for money and a good way to spend a few hours. We get there in thw afternoon as its quieter as it can get very busy!
My kids loved making tge slime yesterday and the staff were brilliant!

Beautiful aquadium. Very interactive, which makes it pleasant for children.
The accoustics is really a downside !! On the upper floors you hear a lot of noise from below. And certainly if someone then gives an explanation through a microphone, that is not to be understood by all the noise. That noise makes it a shame, because then you miss quite a lot.
Please note, pay parking unfortunately, too bad.
The jellyfish were very beautiful. Bottom.
For kids it is nice that they can spot fish themselves and look it up on the displays. Sticker book also beautiful.
Unfortunately you will receive a standard English manual. There are Dutch but you will not read that later. They would be better off offering you a good language manual. Now you have to buy that extra. That's a waste of paper.

This is a very good aquarium with some impressive exhibits. There are also lots of interactive exhibits suitable for both kids and adults, including one where you can colour in fish and see them swim on a large screen. The ticket is also valid for a whole year so you can return multiple times if you want.

This was ok just thought it needed more fish displays as it seemed it had too many interactive displays & tv screens than it did have live fish aquariums. Not cheap to get in either & the food, drink & souvenir shop is way over priced. Enjoyable but at a price.

Visited with family group and was happy to see there was something for everyone. Young kids enjoyed seeing the fish, adults enjoyed reading the information and seeing the fish and all round very good! We especially liked the large tank because you got so many different views of it.

Will be happy to return!

The Covid precautions in place are great. Plenty of sanitiser points, staff cleaning displays regularly and clear directions for the one way system.
The only thing that could be better at the moment would be more reminders for those few visitors who disregard the one way system in place.
** We loved the fab new displays about the changing seas! **

We've been here twice and will be back before long! It's an amazing place. Sandwiches are a little lacking in the cafe, kind of soggy, which is my one let down, but the hot food seems good. It really is packed full of wonderful sights though.

I've been here a few times and I enjoy it just as much each time. There's plenty to see and learn about, with educational boards explaining what not. It does get hot inside there as you can imagine with copious amounts of tropical fish and shark so I wouldn't wrap up.

There's plenty of parking space, although I can't remember if it costs or not.
