Brilliant day out....and a cafe that doesn't bankrupt you bank account... ticket gives you 12 months admission. enough said..

Great place to take the kids, thousands of fish to see along with great learning material.. a small soft play area & good friendly staff..
It is expensive to get in though, it would workout cheaper to visit anew times ayear... as you do initially pay for a yrs pass.
The small cafe is expensive so taking a small snack for everyone is worthwhile..
The gift shop again is great for kits to buy a gift or for family to get some keep sakes... I very much recommend the deep seaside centre. Not forgetting the great views outside & hull itself being a great place to visit

A load of fish, swimming up and down. Pretty expensive to visit.

very scenic. has lots of decoration but not distracting decoration. the staff are pleasant and ques are quite quick. food is tasty but overpriced. also, you may need to fix those touch-screens. only 2 worked properly. it seems to be very popular with both aduults and children.

A lovely day out with the family. A little expensive if you don't live close by and can't take advantage of the annual access offer.

We loved the Divers session and the turtle hospital! Great activities for kids along with the variety of sea creatures and of course the gentoo penguins. Could watch them all day! Lovely day out.

Brilliant. Kids enjoyed them loads for them to see and do.

This aquarium includes lots of different species, from small things to bigger ones like sharks and penguins.

The shark feeding event is great to witness.

The touch pool, where kiddies can touch and feel some small animals like urchins and see stars, is perhaps a bit small.

We had food there once and it was ok, that said there are plenty of food places around the corner.

Fab place. Really enjoyable and informative for both adults and children alike.

Easy to walk round ,knowledgable staff. Very clean and the displays give a really good chance to see the animal in a very natural enviriment. Enjoyed it and went round twice

Not as impressive as I had hoped. The ant display was awesome though.

Always a pleasure to visit, friendly staff and plenty for the kids to do.

It was fun and very educational the food was cheap and very good all the kids really enjoyed it will go again x

We Love the Deep!! We've been coming since my children were babies, this time we took advantage of the year ticket and managed to visit 7 times. My youngest is obsessed with sea life especially sharks but he love to draw them, now 8yrs old and he can sit infringe of the tanks and draw for hours. We really e not coming with all of our family. Highly highly recommend. X p.s. that drawing is my 8yr old sons drawing of a Great White Shark (they do not have one of these at the Deep )

Water great place. I have absolutely nothing to carp about. A visit to the deep is good for the sole.

Love it here. Best thing is the offer for the years pass.

Fun educational day out. Kids really enjoyed. Interesting marine life, particularly the stories behind some of the animals.
Possible to see everything in one visit.
Kids enjoyed it. For my 3 year old the best part was the soft play area!

Very happy with the visit but could have been better . Thought it was a penguin sanctuary didn't have much about them .

Really enjoyed our family visit to the deep, a lot of fish ive never seen before and some big ones too , my daughter really enjoys it when she created her own fish and watched it come to life on the big screen:), cons- seems to be a bit small so can be over fast if you don't take your time.

A nice place to visit if in the near to the area.
Covid safe, one way system in place. Staff very helpful.
Lots to see and very very informative. We went with our 8 year old and he really enjoyed it especially the interactive displays

Great afternoon out. Long time since I went last and it's good to see a couple of new features.

As good as it gets... Only problem is the restaurant... Understaffed... Waiting for ever to get served...

1st visit to the Deep and thoroughly enjoyed it took a 4 year old and she loved it too. Well worth a visit

Brilliantly entertaining for kids and adults. Did get very busy though!

Great for all ages, not too expensive, food was good young grandson enjoyed it win win.

Loved The Deep cant wait to go again. Could sit there all day watching the fish. Next time I might adopt a Turtle!

Only go here to charge the electric car. As they have a charge point... the actual deep is not that great

Not the most thrilling of aquariums but the conservation side of things is quite spectacular.

Quite enjoyed it but the noise just spoilt it for me. The use of a microphone was torture to my ears and couldn't hear a word she was saying. Poor creatures in the deep!

Great day out with the family with loads of parking space and close to town centre

A lovely place to visit for all the family. Staff were friendly and the food in the cafe very nice and inexpensive too

Loved it, so many species of fish but the best part of it are the penguins. If you can see the feeding of the penguins you won't be disappointed.

All in all this is an excellent activity for the whole family and is cheap too!

I was good butI felt sad because the animals were enclosed especially the jellyfish

A good day out for familyies very informitive and fun. Try to miss school trip days as can be very noisy and off putting when walking around

We had a wonderful time. Grandchildren loved it as always. So much to see and do.

Super exhibits and you can revisit for free for 12 months.

Absolutely fantastic. Pay once and you can visit all year free! Kids loved every single exhibit. All for a good cause too! Only thing is parking is a true nightmare! I usually get the train but we brought the car today and had to hunt down an ATM then beg for change! Still worth it! Definitely going back!

Writing my review in the queue after being told it will take 1.30 hours to get in and taking 40 minutes to find a parking space. Particularly as I bought my ticket weeks ago
I am sure the venue is fabulous but seriously thinking of asking for a refund. Don't come here particularly if you have children and are limited to school holidays!!!!!

Parking is always hectic as this is a popular spot, especially during the school holidays, so get there early. Not the cheapest of attractions, but once you've been you can visit as many times as you want within the year. Great fun for kids and adults alike.

Just had a great day at the Deep on their first day of opening.

Their covid measures were at the right level with the staff continuously cleaning.

I liked everything but the tunnel was a bit disappointing and small.

Not that many creatures and too many children around. Enjoyed the Scarborough version much more than this one.

Brill children loved it, a good chance to get up close to the underwater world you may otherwise not see.

Love this place. It is very well maintained and the habitats and occupants are in great condition. There is enough parking, even at peak holiday times, but you would be well advised not to leave it too long after opening at these times.
There is a cafe placed within the walkthrough of the exhibits, but you can get a proper hot meal, all be it typical, unhealthy stuff, in the restaurant. Going up to the balcony area can afford you a view whilst you eat, as long as it's not too busy. Worth the entrance fee for the visit and their efforts with conservation and education.

Lots to see but was very busy during our visit which made it difficult to see everything. Was expecting more for the younger children to interact with, their is one section where children are able to touch some of the sea creatures but More

Fantastic Structure - with stunning creatures within.

Fantastic day out catering for a family of mixed ages. Plenty of sitting opportunities for those that need the odd rest.

Really enjoyed it, some educational stuff that's made fun for kids as you go round, great selection of fish, also penguins and some other creatures. Free entry for a year with the ticket. Leave the car in the car park after and go for a walk around the marina or into town.

Too short. Only takes an hour or less to get around. Not much doing.

Perfect day out for my little boy. He loved it, the whole family did!

Great aquarium and the kids loved it. Staff very good and willing to answer the kids questions and spend quite a bit of time doing it!

Only downside is the whole place is so enclosed that it gets a bit stuffy and the fresh air afterwards was a godsend!

Great visit but felt a bit lacking without the lagoon attraction.

Nice and clean. Not too many varieties of aquatic life. Bit disappointed.
