Queued for an hour and spent the same amount of time inside.

Absolutely love the trip here with family. Excellent views and very educating :)
Great place to go, also fantastic disabled changing facilities
Great place to visit with all the family, very good value for money and very well run
Great variety of marine animals and penguins. Can get very crowded - especially around the glass lift while people queue. Last time we went, the car park was pay and display and didn't accept contactless so we parked in the Osbourne Street car park for the convenience of paybyphone and had a nice stroll through the town to get there.
Would recommend the Deep as a lovely place to visit with the family. Well set out for covid distances. And hand sanitizer stations. All the staff are so helpful and friendly. Nice lunchtime snacks.
Great experience for the kids....and for the rest of us..
Very fascinating and beautiful. Will definitely be coming again when I get the chance.
Fab place and you can go back all year at no extra cost!
Best place for adults and children with a marine taste!
Was ok a lot of school kids so very loud and get pushed round we had to go back in just to see all properly takes about 30 to 40 minutes to go round but your made to pay for 6 hours parking.
A wonderful place to spend time with the whole family.
If you like fish you'll love the deep. Starting off from prehistoric times going right through to the future The Deep has wonderful tanks full of common and ecotuc fish. Marvel at the antics of the penguins or relax in one of two cafe areas. Soft play area for the kids and plenty of choice on the menu for snacks and meals. Go into the viewing deck for a sight across the Humber. Well worth a visit
Amazing place! Had a lovely time with our 2 year old!
Great family day out! There is lots to see and do here. Some great displays of all types of sea life and lots of relevant info for all ages. The guides were all friendly and informative.
Car parking is right outside, there was some queuing to get in and slow movement inside as it was very busy but this not distract from the day. The fact that we can return for a year is a bonus!
Brilliant day out with two small children, can't wait to get back!
I love coming here, it s very busy during the School holidays but a lovely place to see Fish up close.
We always like here, ticket valid for 12 month, nice place Hull,
Great day out,, felt sceptical at first but they are doing lots for the environment, still ot sure about animals in tanks penguins always look sad to my eyes
Love the Deep took our year old grandson he really enjoyed seeing all the fish.
Well set up attraction, plenty of aquatic species to see. Impressive deep blue tank
A fantastic and very interesting day out. I would highly recommend The Deep to anyone.
Brilliant day out on school trip. The work shop was super staff very friendly and helpful
Purely the penguins. Best to see them at feeding time.
Not the best place for money, we all was very disappointed with what was there was expecting it to have lots more
Good to visit. Very educational for children. Like the emphasis on conservation. Excellent marine Llife.
Reasonable prices. Great place for kids and adults.
Really enjoyed it. Not great planning with lifts etc. Loads of pushchairs and wheelchairs but not enough lifts! Long queues to get up to the cafe then to find there was no hot food and a poor selection of cold sandwiches!
Staff are really friendly and the place is well looked after. Always a good day out with the family
Love going to this place with the kids, their new exhibit is great, would love to do a photo shoot there one day!
A great day out. We drove an hour and a half to get here as our 7 year old had requested an aquarium as his holiday treat. We were not disappointed. All exhibits looks slick and clean and the larger tanks were stunning with fish swimming past your nose or sharks and rays looming out of the gloomy deep. The short presentation we watched was a bit hard to hear but we simply loved everything else. Very well presented all round with knowledgeable friendly staff always nearby and eager to answer kid's (and adult's) questions. Top attraction.
Great place to spend time with your family. The most interesting moment during my stay is the time of feeding the sharks. Very nice service. A small minus for the tunnel. I expected a longer one.
Outstanding attraction with the wow factor. Very informative, under the sea at its best and the deep sea lift should be experienced. The staff were so helpful but what i really liked was the cafe. Good range of hot and cold food, big portions at value for money. This is not always the case when you have no alternative. Well done.
Great place for kids and the whole family. The deep is much more of an "experience" than places like sea world up the coast (and cheaper too!) So I prefer it!
Not really worth the 2hr journey a bit disappointing took longer to get there than time spent in there on the up side at a nice lunch and a walk around the shops
Interesting and plenty to see but not as much of an aquarium as I was expecting.
Plenty to see and do, and for the price of a ticket exceptional value as you can go back as many times as you want within 12 months. Good family day out, food and drink overpriced for what it is, but I'd expect that, best off either taking a picnic or going somewhere local afterwards.
The best aquarium I have visited. You get so close to the fishes and learn about their habitat. Kids would love being up close to nemo.
Absolutely amazing display of sealife! My 3 year old was amazed all the way through. Went for a meal afterwards and that was great and tasty too. Enjoyed every bit of it! Definitely recommend and will come back again!
Loved it, thought it was a bit expensive thoughbut we had a great time
The new turtle rescue activity and talk is very good. The talk lasts about 30 minutes and the get a of the kids up to help throughout.
Very busy but fantastic place. Spent a good 4 hours there so got our money's worth!
Nice place, however not exceptional. The walk through underwater tunnel part we were really looking forward to, but it is tiny. You walk into it and straight out again. Food options appealing in the halfway cafe too, no ingredient information so people with allergies beware and they ran out of food by 12.20 on a not very busy weekday.
Amazing... We had a private tour and a meal inside the tunnel surrounded by fish, lovely staff, very attentive and welcoming, well worth the money. Would definitely recommend
Brilliant for the kids and with a pay for the family and return FREE for the year its great value
Loved it. Makes for a Good family day out and a walk around the shops to keep the women happy.
A fantastic day exploring everything to do with sea life, great sights-sharks, turtles, huge tuna, jelly fish.
Pay once, go back as many times during the next year.
Short walk to Hull centre.
Highly recommended.
Wonderful place .... here most months . food a bit expensive tho
Nice family day out. Little bit of everything for all ages.
Highly recommend a visit to the deep. Our 1st visit. And very good. All set out for keeping safe re social distancing and hand cleaning so enjoyed our trip there but you do have to book before you go (go online) and then u can visit. U have to wear face masks. but great for family or with your best friend you get one years free admission
Recently attended with the little one. Thoroughly worth the trip from Durham to Hull. Plenty of activities and interesting and interactive games as well as the amazing fish tanks. We'll worth the visit, especially if you have children but also for couples and families too, I imagine.
Bit smaller than I was expecting but we easily spent the whole day there. We ended up going around twice . The staff were very friendly and happy to chat about the displays.
Really nice aquarium, lots of audio visuals aimed at older kids but both the large and small tanks are stunning.... the sharks, rays and turtles were stunning
Good fun for kids to run around and soak up nature
Loads of parking , nice cafe but need to wait for space as expected....
Brilliant day out. My children aged 14, 7 and 18months loved it. Staff are very helpful and engaging
It's good for kids though they don't have huge fishes. Restaurant food is just ok and bit costly.
Wasn't a very long start to finish in only a couple of hours but what they have is worth going to see
