Huge range in marine fish. As a hobbiest the fish look like they are very happy in their tanks
Good vibe about the place, good for kids but very easy to get around quickly. 12 month pass is handy and would save money if visiting multiple times.
My favorite relaxation place. Penguins are the best.
Very nice place. Recommend for a family with a small kids.
Very educational and enjoyable. Feel a bit sorry for the peguins.
A good aquarium with lots of species on display. Some of the interactive parts are a bit tired. We happily spent 4 hours or so here and would visit again, good value for money too as your ticket gets you in again for free for the rest of the year!
Always love visiting this place. Our kids are 1 and 4 and it is great to be able to take it at your own speed. Our half term was not the same as a Hull, so not too busy either.
Very interesting experience and I look forward to seeing it again
Great day out for the kids and very interesting for the grown-up as well
Some great exhibits although it did feeling a little bit run down the last time I went
Reasonably priced, especially as the return ticket allows unlimited access for the year. Very enjoyable, clean and well layed out.
Had a lovely time. Both of my sons found it amazing. Free to go back all year. What's not to like. The car park is pay and display and requires coins.
A little small for the price. I think I see what they are trying to do but there is really only one large tank (and one nearly finished). Lot's of interactive stations but light on actual animals. Suggest good for younger children but a bit expensive for what you get, in my opinion. Although, you do get a yearly ticket for the same price as a single entry (for adults, at least) so that would be good if you live near.
Awesome place for a family day out. Added bonus of an annual pass as part of your ticket price.
Really good experience - we recommend taking the stairs at the end instead of the lift if you can.
Pay and display car park but a ticket can be purchased from the ticket office if you have no cash. Excellent sea world adventure. Only took us 4 hours to go round and that was walking slowly with a lunch break.
Fantastic day out for all the family and reasonably priced. There is a lot to do, you can easily spend the whole day slowly waking around getting to know about the different types of fish and problems the face with pollution. 10 out 10 would go again.
Very good plenty of fish to see staff are friendly and helpful
Fantastic architecture. Amazing displays of marine life of all types. We learned a great deal. Not a place you can rush around, there is so much to take in .Good for families.
The closest way to get up close and personal to sharks and the Underwater world without getting wet.
Went with my daughters and 19 mth old twin granddaughters. We all loved it. Soft play was a real hit.
Brilliant and not that expensive... could spend hours here
Especially for kids, but adults will find something to look around :)
I have mixed feelings. The Deep sets out with a clear mission, not for profit, and to be fair it is priced reasonably for all the work they do. They had some really impressive tanks with a great selection but somehow we thought there would be more. The build up is very long and detailed, educational but blending it (education and tanks) would have been easier on the kids. Lighting was poor on some of the high big signs, we had to use our phone light to see them. Food was well priced in the cafe but kids thought school food was better quality. Sorry. The staff we talked to were brilliant. Very engaging and ready to share their knowledge. We were halfway way when we needed the cafe and a member of staff guided us to a back stage lift and sent us straight up. Can t fault the staff. And finally, they have electric car charging which meant our car recharged as we explored. A great vision and good effort but some things could be re-thought a bit.
Great place as always but we had booked tickets this morning, arrived to hour long queue to park and then another hour or so to get in. Such an amazing place just not built for those sort of crowds. 5 stars for venue and staff, 3 stars for parking and ability to process peak periods.
Not as slick or as much to do as sea life but still pretty good. Avoid the cafe though unless you're trying to lose weight extremely quickly! the "touch pool was a bit of a let down, poor communication meant i couldn't get my little one anywhere near in the end despite being first there, and the girl spoke quietly with no working microphone wafting a star fish around for kids to stroke.
Full of plenty of different fish, along with an underwater elevator that takes you through the main pool. The cafeteria is also very reasonably priced.
However, we couldn't find any sharks!
Really good and loads of things to see really enjoyable and will return to see the things I missed the first time.
A Brilliant aquarium with a large variety of amazing fish of all sizes & shapes, the penguins are the best and are definetely unique, I strongly recommend penguin feeding time, You'll see why however the deep lose a star due to the massive quantity of wild children running around causing trouble
Top entertainment. I had a wonderfull day in the deep
Loads of hand sanitizing points all around, staff very visibly cleaning and disinfecting touch points. Attendants outside the bathrooms ensuring that social distancing was properly adhered to.
So glad they are back open and so well organised!
Amazing place, really enjoyed it! Can't say anything else apart from you have to go and see for yourselves
I met my partner here a year ago and have lovely memories. Wonderful experience, highly recommended for a day out, first date or even a birthday treat!
It was are first time here we had a really good time
Brilliant for kids and adults, avoid at busy times as you just get shoved about and trodden on.
Not been here since 2007 much the same. Good place for a wet day. Allow 2 hours. Parking is limited and costs extra. Need to book on line at the moment. Paying good attention to covid restrictions and felt safe.
Great place and get free entry for year by going once
Such an informative and interesting place to visit, young and old will love it, the entrance fee is really inexpensive considering you pay once and can return as many times as you wish within a year
Ok, I guess. Interesting, yes, but not enough for a long day out. Definitely book somewhere else too. I find it quite easy to get through, but also very informative.
Great for a half day out, we have passes and go frequently. It's ace!
I've been to aquariums in London, Paris and Barcelona and this one is still my all-time favourite. The place is mind-blowing.
For visually disabled it's a nightmare. Hardly any signage no idea what the menu in cafe was. Exit signs might help because you go upstairs to find your way out. Having said that the massive fish tanks are great.
Really good kids loved it. Would like to see more about the fish around England though.
Wonderful sea life exhibits and plenty of places to eat or take your own picnic. Pay for a ticket and return as many times as you wish for a full year free of charge.
awesome fun for the family and when you buy entry you can get access any time for free within a year
Great place to visit. Very informative and great for little ones no matter how old
Amazing number of different things to see including penguins, sharks and Ray. Really interesting with interactive displays. Fabulous for the whole family and wheelchair friendly.
Great day at The Deep. All staff where friendly and very helpful. Great themes and layout made for a pleasant afternoon.
Great place to visit, lots to see and learn. The rays and the swordfish are spectacular. The penguins are adorable too!
Mind blowing experience with first class information from our host Rob
Very nice staff who help out willingly with identifying various fish. S good afternoon out.
Brilliant place to go, though it does get busy on a weekend or a rainy day! Pay once and get in free all year. I love how they have paid a lot of attention to river life and not just to the sea. There's also a shopping centre that's just a 5-10 minute walk away.
Great visitor attraction my toddler loves it great value too
Very interesting and exciting for children. A good variety of information and water creatures.
Great place to go for a day out. It felt like the place had lived through its glory days already. However its very informative and provides good distractions for people of all ages.
Was lovely to see all the different types of fish but was a little disappointed at the tunnel i thought it would be longer
Great day out. Good price and the ability to return as many times as you want for the next year! I know I'll be going back!
Brilliant day out with lots to doo and a variety to see not including fish and penguins
The yearly ticket is great but there isn't really a reason to keep going back once I've seen it that's it.
Absolutely fantastic family day out! Pay for 1 data admission get 12month pass!!
A fantastic day. Kids ages 5,6,19 plus mum and dad. All had a fantastic day. Kids loved the information boards and interactive activities. We all watched in awe aS the divers fed the various fish. The guy that did the talk whilst the fish were being fed was amazing. A young lad with fantastic knowledge. He kept everyone, adults and kids totally captivated. We used tescos vouchers for the day out but would quite happily pay the Full price. We will definitely be using the free return visits. A great day out. Definitely recommend. X
