Spendy, but you are worth a bit of pampering. This Hotel is first class all the way. If there is rain or snow outside you can get some walking exercise just by wandering around the vast building.

I'm a lover of history and unique items. My visit was fun and educational. Beautiful collection and knowledgeable staff!
We stopped by the lobby for tea at Starbucks. The decor was amazing!
The hotel is always clean and beautiful. Staff is friendly, and efficient even when things don't go as planned. I love this hotel.
Very nice hotel in the heart of Spokane. Nice room amenities and many upscale amenities in the hotel.
Oh my goodness the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. The staff helped make this a memorable experience!
Beautiful venue and very nice staff. Overall a wonderful experience.
A beautiful and unique hotel, but a few misses.
First, I want to say the service is exemplary. This is the kind of service people rave about for a reason. The lobby and restaurants are beautiful, clean and well kept.
The hallways and rooms could use some TLC.
The building is older than time and it shows. The hallways are very dinged up and look dirty. The rooms need some deep cleaning for sure. A layer of dust on everything, stains on the draperies, the carpet, the antique furniture, and the walls. The bathroom is amazing, but the shower lacks water pressure. The bed was horrendously uncomfortable; both too stiff and unsupportive at the same time. The room had no fridge, and the hair dryer is the cheapest one you can order. The rooms still have paper, pen, and other collateral in them, which during a pandemic seems like a really poor choice. The parking is the same price for anyone as it is for guests, which seems a little off.
For a 4 star hotel with 4 star prices, I expect a few more amenities in place and better attention to detail.
Great hotel gorgeous building in downtown Spokane. Within walking distance of everything. Nice room and and bathroom as well.
This was an absolutely gorgeous location. The employees were knowledgeable & polite
Very nice! We went for a wedding and the venue is gorgeous. The hotel has a restaurant and bar and is surrounded by other trendy shops and historic locations.
We return every year a fabulous place with excellent staff.
We has a wonderful stay. It is close to major shopping and restaurants. And the restaurants in the hotel were good. I'm looking forward to staying again. It's a little highly priced but well worth it if you are looking for a quality hotel with great service. Even though we 'Self Parked' the valet service were wonderful to us.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Lovely history. Went to the Tree festival. Lots of people. Crowded. The trees werent as great as they were last year. Too bad this hotel is Downtown where all the bums are.
This is an extravagant hotel. The dining experience was fantastic. The food, staff and service was great. I would definitely recommend the Davenport to a friend!
My favorite place in Spokane. The really do a good job.
Quite the opulent place riddled with history and charm. You get what you pay for.
I love the Historic Davenport during the holidays and Christmas tree elegance
It was beautiful, the detail it the building is exceptional.
Loved my stay at the Davenport. Had a seminar here and truly enjoyed the area. Having the fitness room and pool onsite was so convenient and the choice of places to eat in the area was great.
We've stayed here before and it is an excellent, historic, grand style hotel. The lobby is beautiful, large and well decorated with a restaurant using half of the atrium open space. We had breakfast in the restaurant next to the lobby and everything was delicious plus our waiter was wonderful!
I didn't like the music that was playing when I walked into my room.
A wonderful visit and lunch. Very friendly wait staff.
Crab fettucine with Alfredo on the side. Doesn't get better than this.
Staff is so courteous and helpful. Above and beyond. Very impressed with customer service. Shower was dirty, but they responded immediately.
Went to the Peacock Lounge. Had drinks and bartender very nice and knowledgeable about the drinks!
Great part of Spokane history in the building. A lot of cool stuff to look at and learn. They have a self guided tour, you can get the pamphlet from the front desk. Everything little spendy here but the restaurant is worth checking out and so is the peanut brittle!
The banquet room and service staff were elegant as the historic hotel itself.
My extended family comes to stay here every year and we have a bigger dinner in the private room in the Palm Court. We've noticed the last few years the service and food isn't as good. This year they moved our reservation on us which we had 20 in our party. Then we had to sit at two tables. One less ng table and a booth. The food came out dry and cold. Our server did her best though.
Attended conference in the Marie Antoinette ballroom. Very nice space, staff was very accomodating.
How could someone not love this iconic building. Take your time and wander around, enjoying scenes from a different time. Beautiful bulding, rooms, and wonderful atmoshpere. Delicous food as well. Christmas time sees a lot of folks, so be ready for the crowds, as they light the place up big time.
The Historical Davenport
Is the Bibliography of Washington/ Spoakane City.
Everyone should learn from this EXPERIENCE.
Thank you Davernport you're the best
It was beautiful and our event was exceptional. The service was great. We really enjoyed the staff, food and drinks.
Outstanding historic hotel. Stayed here several times and attended meetings in their convention center. Welcoming, friendly staff and top notch service!
I visited the Historic Davenport hotel to visit their spa. This was by far the best spa I have ever been too, not only was it beautiful and tranquil, but the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their work.
Beautiful rooms, but poor customer service and amenities are lacking. No breakfast, no fridge etc for the price you can find a better place to stay.
Penthouse suite is smaller than you'd expect. But very nice. And accommodations were wonderful
A beautifully-restored old world hotel with absolutely first class service and attention to every detail. The bed was very comfortable and the room well-apportioned and most importantly, quiet. The staff was attentive beyond expectations and the food was excellent. If you love cheese dishes, you have to try the Cougar Gold dip appetizer and the grilled cheese and tomato bisque (but I wouldn't recommend doing so at the same meal, you'll have a cheese overload). Highly recommend the hotel for a throwback experience.
The trees were all so awesome ! Gave me so many new ideas for decorating in years to come ! So much fun !
Exceptional service and rooms. Very unique setting, and the Christmas tree displays were beautiful. Hotel bar has great drinks, restaurant has delicious food, and service was excellent.
Rooms have a high level of attention to detail to their rooms and all staff were extremely courteous. Sunday brunch is amazing!
Great place for some history and some appys and drink
Nice luxury hotel and the lounge is nice but small.
Stopped to meet friends for a drink before a concert. Always beautiful, the ambience is comparable to none other. Never have to worry if food or drinks will be good, they are always amazing! Can't wait for an excuse to stop in again!
Me and my girlfriend visited the Davenport for our anniversary. We received the couple retreat massage and had dinner afterwards. Everything about the experience was amazing. The decor, staff, and amenities were all superb.
We had drinks in the peacock lounge, more food options would be good but had a nice experience!
Stayed here for the second time this month. Loved the hotel, ambience and service.
Quaint, old world ambience and an amazing purveyor of the history of Spokane
We saw the Christmas tree elegance it was fascinating
Beautiful historic hotel. The rooms are a bit small for today's standards but updated keeping the historic look and feel.
This is an INCREDIBLE place to have your wedding. The Marie Antoinette Ballroom is gorgeous, the grounds are amazing and the location can't be beat. As a wedding vendor I would come back and shoot here over and over!!
I didn't get to stay here overnight however, this place is GORGEOUS!! We visited the ballrooms and the main hall. The history of this place is great. I loved reading about it's past and seeing their old furnishings. Definitely worth checking out. Would love to attend an event here. A wedding would be grand!!
It is incredible inside! All the amazing historical photos, and each meeting room and space has a unique design. Very ornate! And the peacock lounge is beautiful! I could have spent more time just reading all the historical info...
Our stayed was at the historical site. Beautiful hotel with with high standards. Our stay was very comfortable hotel was clean and friendly.
Rooms beautiful. Peacock Lounge service excellant, food great. Administration gets an F. Made reservations in Jan, never once until our stay in June did they tell us that most amenities were not available including housekeeping. The front desk blamed it on COVID19, which we knew was false, because we had stayed at another hotel in Spokane County the days before. This is not our first stay but will be our last. To charge the price and to not deliver is fraud.
Absolutely wonderful. Couldn t have asked for a better place to stay in downtown Spokane. This place is walking distance to everything.
Va Piano wine tasting at the Davenport is fantastic. Only $5 tasting fee. Excellent wine in the beautiful and historic Davenport. A Spokane gem.
Went for a catered Christmas party. Staff and service were excellent. Did was pretty good. My halibut was over cooked, but everyone said the steak was great.
Very nice hotel. The employees are nice and overall excellent service
My wife and I spent our last night of a business trip at this fabulous hotel. You have to see the inside. It s beautiful. I wish we had stayed longer and look forward to going back. The bed was so comfortable.
Have enjoyed many overnight and weekend stays here. The hotel and rooms are beautiful. Noticed during our latest visit thst the prices in the lounge and restaurant have skyrocketed however.
The best of the best. Nothing more need be said. Elite is an understatement.
The Historic Davenport is beautiful inside and out. The staff are friendly and the event rooms are gorgeous.
