I absolutely loved my dinner and drinks at the Davenport's post street alehouse. Service was fantastic and the food was delicious.

Beautiful hotel. We went for the Sunday brunch buffet and everything was absolutely wonderful!
So great of a place! They're food was fantastic (I only went for breakfast though) Really a high standard place. Park on the side streets though if you're not staying there. $22 for parking!
A must see if you are visiting Spokane for the first time! I love to do lunch here, it makes my day!
Went to see christmas decorations and loved it. Very pretty during the holiday season.
Classic feel. Elegant and timeless. Absolutely perfect
Omg this place.... absolutely beautiful! The ornate furniture and room decor was beautifully done! The ladies at the front desk were friendly as was one girl that helped us in the gift store. Everytime we walked in/out they held the door for us, you don't get that at franchise hotels! It was well worth the price bc of its history. We didn't eat here though so I can't comment on the food.
Very crowded with Christmas Elegance, but the staff worked their tails off and never lost their composure. It was a wonderful evening. Only negative comment was parking. Davenport garages and valet were closed unless you were a hotel guest. But that's as much the City's fault as the Davenport.
Great hotel. Super staff that understand customer service. Would definitely go back.
LOVE! Special Occasion or Simple Treat. Decadence. Luxury. Local Escape. The Davenport Hotels are in the Marriott portfolio. And, while in Spokane, I have been staying at the Tower or the Grand. I figured they were more modern, which would include amentities to better meet my interests. So wrong. The Historic Davenport has all of the amentities and more for a business traveler and especially for someone who might want to indulge a bit. Great food on property - breakfast & lunch experiences - only. And, absolutely incredible service. Great rates and you get to enjoy your Marriott benefits and recognition.
Peacock Lounge had the best French dip sandwich that I have ever eaten! Creme Brule' was top notch as well. Room was quiet and extremely comfortable.
So beautiful! Catering and private events happen here! So reserve your space early.
Wow! Gorgeous rooms with beautiful furniture, all in impeccable condition. Interesting hotel history and delicious peanut brittle. My favorite hotel in Spokane!
This hotel is awesome for the reasons that other reviewers have provided. I would return in a heartbeat. The bed was too soft for me but others seem to like it that way. I felt like it was trying to swallow me.
The Davenport is extremely beautiful hotel, and the staff is amazing.
Great hotel. Wonderful decor that hearkens back to an earlier time when staying in a hotel was an event. Super comfortable beds and linens. The restaurant is good but pricey... Even for a hotel. $4 for coffee is a bit steep. The wireless internet can be slow as well. But it's still a great place to stay with really great rates for a true 4 star experience.
What a spread, anything you want to eat or drink, and what atmosphere, the best in town by a mile.
Cct I do not hate The Davenport Hotel, but Marriot is not doing it as well as the owners did. Dirty linens and other peoples hair on the shower walls, nasty.
Great service great suites great food in walking distance most things .they only do shot glass size desert at the tower full size at historic other then that both are 5 star
What a beautiful hotel. Staff ultra friendly and helpful.
Food was wonderful. We split a crab Louis then I had the shrimp and my husband had steak. Service was excellent. The Davenport is a grand work of art.
Classic architecture at its finest. We've stayed here once and come back for socializing. A visit to the Peacock Lounge is a must.
The opulent aura of this beautiful hotel makes the stay very comfortable, stylish, and freeing. My company had a party here in the Grand Pennington Ballroom, and I invited my dad along to join the fun with the evening festivities as well as all amenities possible for spending the night. I throughly enjoyed the service and hospitable support of all staff. Our Sunday Brunch was very exquisite, and I saw Queen Isabela of Spain's painting on the wall! :) This historically rich place with decadent architecture and laid back atmosphere makes for an awesome stay in downtown Spokane.
Not to spooky, very elegant and upstanding!! I really want to come back!!!!
Room smelled like pet urine. Front desk didnt have any record or help of where the party room was, that we were attending..Elevators were difficult to run. No directions given about using key cards for them. No complemenyary breakfast.
Room was absolutely beautiful and the staff was eager to help. Thank you.
The Davenport Hotel opened in 1914 as a destination in its own right.
It's a "must stay" Spokane destination point!
They're beds a very comfortable!

I attended my wife's company Christmas party at the Davenport. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly. It is a very beautiful place.
Drinks in the Peacock Room! Feels fancy. Great happy hour.
Absolutely wonderful. I grew up going to the Davenport when they polished silver coins. Food delicious. What a special day when one includes lunch at the Davenport.
Very beautiful didn't have a lot of time to look at everything as I was there for a work meeting
The building is beautiful inside. Go in and take a look around.
Very cool, and pretty. Like nothing you will ever see.
Very high end 5 star hotel in Spokane. Between the history of the hotel, and the present condition and care attached to the hotel of present , it is a fabulous stay!
Beautiful hotel, friendly and professional staff, all the amenities expected at a hotel of this calibur. Fantastically comfy beds and delicious room service. We will be back to see what else the Davenport has to offer.
Been staying here 5 nights in a row twice per year for 10-years, and it has gotten worse each year. This last time i had money stole 2 nights in a row. I told two managers and they didn't do anything about it just said that's terrible and I will look into that. Its disappointing Marriott has removed the patina of a fine establishment from this once great hotel.
What a lovely treat! Beautiful setting, beautiful food! Excellent service!
Spectacular hotel. Historic and beautiful. We had a Junior Suite (room 1019), corner room with a king bed. It was amazing. So quiet and lovely! Great city view as well. Everything was just top notch, from comfort to decor to service. You feel history in every corner of the hotel, yet the rooms are updated and are very modern. Loved the bathrobes, the big shower and the comfiest bed. We swam in the pool, used the gym, ordered room service, went to the spa and walked around the hotel late at night. It was all wonderful. Emilee at front desk was great. The valet parking was great and they even plugged in our electric car! Thanks, Davenport! Couldn't ask for more!
Love doing pin-up shoots here! The people are amazing here!
Always a special experience whether you stay overnight or get pampered at the spa.
Beautiful hotel. Bed is so comfortable. I priced buying one but shipping was a bit much. Love the lounge for drinks. Food could be better. The peanut brittle is delicious.
Beautiful lobby and lounge, with great atmosphere and ambiance. I was just there for drinks with friends and can't comment on the rooms but service was excellent and the bar was comfortably furnished and quite nice to spend time in.
This hotel has so much to offer. 1. The hotel looks outstanding and is vary historic. 2. The rooms are fabulous. 3. The staff is supper friendly. 4. The food is 5 start. There are not a lot of hotels anymore that offer this outstanding experience. To really experience this hotel you must stay at it. I promise you will not be let down. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Keep up the awesome work Davenport.
Beautiful restoration of a grand old hotel and food is nice
Hotel was fantastic. I was at a party and we rented out one of the ballrooms and the service was fantastic and so was the food there.
Mens restroom had feces on floor in one stall, one plugged toilet and one no paper. Very gross experience.
Loved every part of the place. Great location, great service, good food, great rooms.
Dear Davenport,
I miss you dearly every single day.
Beautiful hotel with an interesting history. Did not stay I'm the rooms as I was just visiting my parents. But seemed very nice.
The Davenport was, is, and will continue to be one of the nicest places in Spokane. Everybody is welcome, yet it just seems very classy. An awesome historic place in Spokane. I would highly recommend the Davenport to anyone.
I was so impressed with how beautiful the entire place and rooms were
The Pent house was a beautiful room. Very detailed and comfortable.
An extraordinarily beautiful building and worth checking out even if you're not staying there. Take the stairs to the second floor mezzanine to see the autographs.
I love this hotel it has so much character and the Sunday brunch is the best brunch in the Northwest.
Top shelf experience from hello to goodbye. Highly recommended.
The history of this place is fantastic. Be sure to walk the halls and see it all.
Probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in. The toilet paper gets five stars. Incredible atmosphere. Nice bar and restaurants within. A bit pricey.
Always so beautiful. Really enjoy sitting with a coffee and taking in the environment.
We were there for a business meeting and had to go get our server to order. We were there for an hour and he never checked to see if we wanted to order after he dropped off beverages.
Restaurant hostesses need some training in how to speak to customers, but the food was excellent, our server, Mary, was very friendly & efficient & despite being extremely busy, the walk up bartender in the Peacock Lounge did a great job.
Decent price, incredible decor and staff. I'm here for work. I'll be coming back for vacation.
Breathtaking. The history, luxury, top notch staff... I can't say enough good things about it.
