We took our mom there for Sunday brunch on her birthday which is in December. The brunch was phenomenal...each food item had it's own set up e.g. there was a chef in the center of the egg station making each person's egg order how they wanted it, there was a fruit station that had fruit from around the world, the dessert station had every dessert you can imagine including a chocolate fountain, etc.

The rooms were very well kept, and all of the staff were exceptional to my girlfriend and I during our stay. The entire place was decked for Christmas, and the Trees of Elegance event was beautiful and fun.

All the hotels they have in our downtown and everytime it's a hassle to get what you want. Last time I stayed it took weeks to get close to what I wanted and didn't return for years, now I found a package that would work before I called and after getting disconnected three times I spent an hour on the phone to hear the don't have the sip and stay package. Well why is it on your website?
I'm never trying again

The room was fantastic. Well kept and comfortable. Hotel is beautiful. Good food options around and the wine package was great with many wineries in walking distance. Breakfast room service was great, though quite pricey. Requested late checkout but was unfortunately interrupted multiple times during that extended time. Would stay again for the right price.

Cool historic hotel in downtown. If you've ever been to the Palmer House in Chicago, you'll recognize the vibe, just on a smaller scale. Rooms are spacious and the showers are huge walk-ins. I was pleasantly surprised. They have a restaurant and a separate bar that serves food as well. I kind of think this might be the place to stay in Spokane. It's also part of the SPG program so points, points points!

This place has been beautifully resored to its original high class hotel prestige. We actually spent our wedding night here in the hotel and enjoyed the historical walk around. Be sure to get a bowl of tomato bisque soup

The room was very nice. The staff at the front desk was very nice. However the head of security is not. I slipped in the bathroom and bumped my head because of some water that was on the floor. It wasn't a big deal, but they would not refund any of my points. Very unprofessional. Pretty much called me a liar. I will not go back.

Very upscale hotel with great rooms and super comfy beds (which you can purchase). Stayed here for a conference which was held in a couple different ballrooms. The banquet room we had dinner in was so fancy and the dinner was fantastic. I recommend this to anyone wanting to enjoy the finer things in life. :)

The Davenport Hotel is always so warm and welcoming to photographers and models alike who adventure in to take advantage of the beautiful artwork and location itself. Thank you for allowing us to wrap ourselves in your curtains and lay face down on your stairs without a second glance or thought.

I enjoyed my stay, although a bit pricey - it felt comfortable and rooms weren't as dated as you would think from looking at it. Amazing Crab Louis as one would expect (real crab). Some drawbacks, for the hotel that was the first to feature AC in the US one would think it would work amazingly well - especially after the renovations 15 years ago. Sadly it didn't work well and the room felt hot. The beds are majestic and huge.. I'm tall and still felt I needed a step latter to get into bed. All and all, worth a short stay if you're in town for wine or festivals.

Historic style does not mean lacking comfort. Wonderful showers and comfortable beds. Air conditioning in room is quiet and powerful. Turn down service is a great touch. Parking is not include but should be.

Very disappointing stay. I had booked a suite with Marriot Rewards points. We received a standard room, then after a request, an upgraded room, but certainly not a suite. Dinner at the Ale Hourse was rushed, with the server making it clear she wanted our table for some one else. Then, after returning from the Fox for a concert, we found the famous turn down service had not been done. All quite poor. I mentioned this upon checkout but only received a few less than honest "sorries." Getting into our valet parked car, we found candy wrappers from items we did not eat. This is really quite poor for what used to be an oft attended premier facility. My email to the GM listing all this has gone unanswered so perhaps a regular customer is no longer worth the time.

Beautifully restored, this hotel is well situated for walking, dining and exploring.

You should be aware that that seem to add more taxes to their room charge than other hotels including:
1. $10/day destination amenity fee
2. $ 2/day lodging tax
3. Sales room tax of an additional 8.7%
4. TPA charge of an additional 3.3%
5. $.89/day Sales tax destination amenity fee
And, they charge a sales tax on their daily self parking fee of $17.

It adds up!

Absolutely magnificent lobby. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. All the staff I met were perfectly friendly and helpful. That there is a Starbucks-serving coffee bar in the lobby was a great park, so I didn't have to walk a couple blocks to the nearest Starbucks before running out in the mornings.

It was our first time at the Peacock Lounge and we were just grabbing drinks before heading to our reservation at a different restaurant. The bartender was wonderful, the drinks were great (try the Huckleberry martini!), and they even gave us a free dessert for my partner's birthday. Wonderful!

Everything about the hotel is wonderful! It's one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The only thing I would change is for the hotel to have fridges or mini fridges installed into the rooms. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

Beautiful place! We had an interior somewhat crappy view room, and we still loved it! Our room had a non-traditional shape making it seem less hotel-like, plus beautiful furnishings, comfy bed, excellent bathroom and shower. I was surprised and impressed by the original fixtures and touches that have been preserved and utilized, truly a historical feel everywhere you turn. The lobby and atrium were just gorgeous, the amenities and room service were excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you get the opportunity!

Easily the best hotel in Spokane! The beds are comfy, and the rooms are fantastic. and well designed. The fitness center and restaurants are first-class, and all the staff are friendly and professional! Great value and I'm always comfortable recommending the Davenport to out-of-town guests! I take every opportunity to stay there when I have events in town and always appreciate the pampering.

The original historic Davenport is Spokane's jewel of a hotel. Saved from near destruction, it is a favorite for locals having a night downtown and for travelers wanting to stay in luxury. If you don't stay there, at least walk through the lobby and have a cocktail in the Peackock Lounge.

Honestly I am very frustrated that this this is the best hotel in spokane. They allow animals to stay here!! We were lucky enough to have people show up at 11:40pm with a dog that would not stop barking and the people left the dog alone in the room!!!

I was going to leave a 3 star due to the pool being extremely cold and the floor being extremely unsafe. Multiple people slipped and fell due to the floors being extremely soft.

Wow, what a wonderful old hotel. My husband and I were thrilled with our suite and we were able to watch the Fourth of July fireworks from our room. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Our only complaint was that the Palm Court restaurant was very mediocre. It has everything it needs to be wonderful -- great atmosphere, friendly staff -- and if everyone would just give another 20%, it would be as good as the Safari Room across the street.

They were horrible. This wasn't out first time coming. But this will be our last after how they charged my husband twice and the food was horrible. This place is overrated and the customer service was also horrible. I hope they can get a better chef. And wait staff.
