Very interesting content and very beautiful as raised. All of our information through interactive effects that help you get deep into what they are telling you. On the tour there is a mini boat ride simulating the caves that are very well raised. Worth it. You can get a combined museum and curves entrance for 120rands. For over 60 years it costs 65 rands. Almost half.

If you visit first thing on a Sunday morning, you can have the museum to yourself. The museum has a lot of nice outdoor sitting areas that are better enjoyed before the day gets too hot. Buy a ticket for both the caves and the museum, just note that the caves require a bit of stooping/crawling to navigate. Make sure you wear sturdy shoes in the caves; the guides won't stop you if you are wearing sandals, but you are likely to end up with stubbed/muddy toes.

A truly eye-opening, life changing experience with remarkably well conceptualised sign posts. Staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Restaurant is simple but well run and adequate. Overall, a well worth visit. Recommended.

A beautiful relaxing place, nice hiking and mountain biking trails. Meaty affordable burgers, enjoy a 500ml Stella Artois by the pool deck. Beautiful animals, the place is just a breeze, you could swear you not I Gauteng Province.

If you're into evolution or even just human history or maybe it's part of your studies, then I'd definitely recommend going here. Also try to go into the caves either before or after your walk through the museum.

Awesome experience learning about the origins of the human race! The facility is clean and well organized, the staff are friendly and helpful, the exhibitions are very interesting - overall, a great experience!

Expect to spend the full day there for the exhibition- and cave tours. Restaurants are available and most areas are wheelchair accessible. Safe parking is also provided.

Great experience however got disappointed that only cash could be disappointed at the photo shop. The atm didnt assist as it did not have money in...apparently money was only going to be loaded on a Monday after it was loaded on a Friday *sigh*

A must for families and school classes.

A must for families and school classes.
A detailed view on the sensational prehistoric finds.
A brief history of mankind, touching on the development of Life on this wonderful planet. Presented in an inviting and entertaining way.
A *lot* of care and attention has gone into this museum.

I great place for the whole family. This vemue is divided by two separate locations; Sterkfontein Caves and then the Cradle of humankind museum. The caves are guided tours only and last 1- 1 and half hours, the museum which is about a 15 minute drive away can be explored in the same amount of time. Our guide was very friendly and his knowledge excellent. The 5 minute boat ride was an awesome experience. Overall worth the money and time. Great day out.

Nice
