Went with my boyfriend twice for classical concerts. Nice acoustics! And I enjoyed both concerts

Evening performance Saturday, horrible parking, huge line up to exit!

I've always thought that Canada's largest city deserves better main concert hall - especially since there are much better venues in the city.

We occasionally go to the orchestra for their live film series or music in film where they perform scores of famous film composers like John Williams. The tickets are a little cheaper for these then their full orchestra events. The crowds are also a little younger and the conductor has a bit more fun with the crowd and a lighter atmosphere

Great venue, attended dozens of concerts there, great acoustics, interesting modern architecture!

Toronto symphony orchestra is very talented. The acoustics in the hall are amazing. Lots of parking available below the hall even on concert nights and easily accessible by subway if you want to avoid driving. Lots of ushers all over the place to help you get where you need to go and find your seat. They're also equipped to show movies along with orchestra for live soundtrack type shows.

Love singing here as well as watching the performances

I love that the seating here is so elevated from row to row, the people in front never block the view.

Excellent selection of events all year. Very spacious and great atmosphere. Staff are always friendly and food is decent.

Roy Thompson Hall is a beautiful landmark from the outside, unfortunately the interior design is not that impressive. I went there for a screening during TIFF2017 which was a fantastic experience. And as far as I can tell the acoustics are great and the stage is quite big.

I went here for watching satinder Sartaz event it was awesome show and hall is outstanding.

Went here last month for the Beethoven piece. Amazing acoustics, even for sitting higher up. Staff is extremely helpful if you arrive late, and a great place for all ages.

One of the best concert venues in Toronto. It s located a short walking distance, i.e. only about 5-7 minutes, from the Union Station.

Had a chance to attend the late great Pakistani musician, qawwal Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan at this venue and it was one of the best concert experiences ever.

Obviously it s not as big as some of the venues or arenas so the tickets are usually more expensive.

Plenty of parking nearby if you re driving.

I always love coming coming to Roy Thomson Hall. Great views from every seat and extremely easy to get to all parts of it, well laid out.

I always like coming to Roy Thomson Hall. The venue is beautiful and the music played is world class. Tickets for all budgets are available with a great selection of music chosen for the season that has something for every taste. You will not be disappointed with the performance of that I am certain.

This is a wonderful venue. Good accessibility design and beautiful architecture. The acoustics are excellent regardless of where you sit. Visibility isn't great from the extreme sides. I do wish the better seating were more affordable for visual shows like the National Geographic talks. The sides fill up and the rest of the place is mostly empty but it's very hard/impossible to see the speaker and the screen is at an extreme angle

Still such a great building. The symphony sounds amazing in here.

Very amazing structure of hall and is in the center of Toronto.

Beautiful, centrally located steps from Union Station, subway, trolly cars and bus service. Seating is spacious by today's standards and seats are large enough and firm enough to provide lasting comfort. Coat check was super fast and bathrooms are available in several convenient spots. Ramps and elevators are handy for wheelchair guests. The stage is very large with everything visible from all seats. The sound system and overall acustics make hearing clear and easy. The wrap around lobby provides ample break space even for crowds of 1800.

Parked here before going to the Jay's game. Flat $10 fee and an easy walk to and from. Highly recommend parking here.

I went to see the Toronto orchestra symphony. Staff here is always very helpful and on the ball. Washrooms were clean. Great venue for a show

I have been to Roy Thomson Hall on many occasions. But I must say The Christmas Eve Church Service put on by the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto is truly one of my favorite events which I take in every year. A must see for an least once in ones life and hopefully more if you like it. The staff and volunteers are great plus its a beautiful and one of a kind architecture makes it one of Toronto's unique treasures.

Bravissimo was great. Great acoustics. Some seats are stained and not enough washroom facilities to handle intermission. Indoor parking was $15 which over and above ticket prices makes for an expensive outing.

Awesome concert hall, we had a great experience here! The concert was fantastic, and the usher in our section, Kristen, was very friendly, and great with the kids! The building is beautiful, even if it is confusing. We managed to get lost once, but another great usher (I think his name was Matt) pointed us in the right direction Overall, great staff and great concert.

Always a pleasant experience! TSO is fantastic as usual. Great venue for a variety of cultural events in the heart of the city. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at RTH. Parking can be a challenge downtown, but RTH is directly accessable through St. Andrew station which will save you the headache of driving down. Staff are always exceedingly helpful and polite.

Want to feel culturally elite? Get dressed up and go to the TSO. If you are under 35 register for TSO Soundcheck and go for 25-30 bucks. With the money you save you can get a fancy night cap to end a magical evening of music.

The seats were great. we sat in the M row seats 1 and 2 centre isle. Not to close to strain your neck and not so far that you can't enjoy The movement of the musicians. The sound was perfect. You could make out all the instruments the acoustics were amazing.

A 3-level downtown performance venue for music, dance and theater etc. Acoustic vastly improved after recent renovation.

Great staff! OK sound from the centre balcony but the percussionist's cymbals were a bit too loud. Strings were the hardest to hear... The view was good though.

What can I say. A Toronto institution for a reason.

The architecture and design of Roy Thompson is amazing. Breathtaking Beautiful place! They really make you feel at home and welcome with complimentary tea, coffee and water. A little nice gesture can go a long way. If your visiting at night make sure you go outside to the park next door to capture some pictures. Looks amazing at night! Great venue!! Very clean and lots of helpful staff.

The home of the TSO is a lovely place. Great musical experiences even if you can only afford the balcony seats.
