Love it Dvsn was great experience to see and listen
Amazing theatre, very unique design, easy to get to from out of town and find parking, saw a fantastic performance by the TSO and will definitely be coming back.
This is one of my favourite places to see performances. The sound is amazing and the way it is set up, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. I try to get here when I can
Phenomenal experience. Even the nose bleed seats have an awesome view!
Very clean, and professionally run. The experience the venue and staff provided alongside the actual show was exceptional.
The acoustics here are second to none. The most amazing building to listen to live music in - especially the TSO. Your ears will thank you.
Beautiful venue, employees are attentive and helpful
Concrete Chic. I'm into it as far as concert halls go. It's nice, small, intimate, and distinctive.
We've been coming here for the TSO for a year now. Really enjoy it, great location, easy parking underneath. ($15 flat)
Acoustics are great. There is not a bad seat in the house. The outside is gorgeous. The inside is somewhat mono coloured and ugly with all the gold. Very comfortable seats.
Went for Home alone in concert - movie screen above orchestra level. Just amazing ! Very roomy seats, convenient parking, lovely ambience. Concession stands have long queues.
Fun for the kids, interesting venue for them to explore and roam although clearly not built for kids! (Carpets, not stroller accessible, lots of escalators and stairs, steep steps, low rails on balconies etc).
Wonderful place for live performances the best seats for sound are in a surprising location.
Although the performances were exceptional, two things irked me...the first; during intermission my wife went to the ladies room. Sadly the lineup was so long that she missed the first few minutes of the second act. The second; I would like to enjoy theater without the sounds of people rustling through various food bags and containers. Had no idea you could eat at your seat.
There didn t seem to be a way to access my seat without carrying the stroller up some stairs (only a few steps though), and for that I would take half a star, but I won t because I really liked their staff.
Okay venue. Bring back support devices for the seats.
Unfinished building or just grey cement design, in and out ....
Great sound, iconic building, but of vertigo in the third balcony
Great live show. Easy access. Lot of restaurants options around.
The mirrors disorientated me heavily. I could not tell if that was a halfway or a mirror.
I am unable to move around easily, but everyone was most helpful so I was able to access my seat easily and enjoyed my visit to the Roy Thompson Hall and was sent into raptures with the beautiful music, singing and dancing during the Salute to Vienna. The wonderful anecdotes of the conductor added so much joy to the overall incredible experience. Thank you for helping me celebrate 2019 on such a high note!
Great place to see concerts and shows! One of the best in Toronto.
Absolutely gorgeous place, very easy access by car, no parking problems if you are driving and the venue in terms of Acoustic quality is among the best concert halls I've been to around the world.
Pretty good venue, good seating and good acoustics. Been here a couple of time to see orchestral stuff. There is parking on the south side of the block, underground, so this is nice and convenient. The building is quite interesting, lots of concrete and glass. Good intimate venue, but none of the scale and grandeur of somewhere like Harpa in Reykjavik. The worst part, and the reason for not giving 5 stars, is that it's a real pain to get to now, unless you live within walking distance. We drove through gridlock trying to get in, and all the roads were still jammed at 10pm when we left. Allow plenty of time if you have to navigate the awful downtown Toronto traffic.
It is a very nice place and they play nice music there.
It was ok not a big fan of the patrons they are very old fashioned
Lots of leg room, nice layout, amazing sound. A true concert hall.
Great music, a good place to sneak a break from busy life......
Saw The Empire Strikes Back. Amazing experience. Orchestra and female conductor played the music precisely. Only took a 10 minute break. Everyone should have this experience at least once in their lives
Very impressive venue, great acoustics, very comfortable chairs
St. Andrew's college made the Andrean Christmas it was the best
First time inside, saw a comedy show, smaller interior than I thought, seats were all a good view, sat in RP section thinking the balcony would be too high but it looked ok. Not much selection for F&B
We were able to witness the genius of Chilly Gonzales on a Monday evening in the depths of a cold January. It was above and beyond our expectations.
The architecture is so nice in here and the ambient noise was perfect. The lobby s are nice to stroll through and the staff is super helpful. An establishment for sure.
Great venue with very few "bad" seats. Acoustics are lovely and chairs are comfortable.
Venue is beautiful, and within walking distance of many restaurants and at least one hotel.
Am I rating the venue, or the experience?
I love the concerts here, by the TSO especially. I have never been disappointed.
When you go in, the plain grey concrete walls make you feel kind of like you're in a parking garage. But, then there's this magnificent pipe organ in front of you... And when the music starts, you realize that the acoustics are superb.
Great classy location for wonderful classical concerts and many events!! And the architecture is so cool!
I love this venue but TIFF really let patrons down by charging exorbitant prices for shoddy seating while keeping the better seats for people who rarely show. Now I know why so many true film fans skip this location during game TIFF
The show was beautiful, the bathroom are pretty badly designed and the food is pure robbery.
Excellent sound for excellent programming. So fortunate to live in a city that has a venue like this.
Watched a TSO rehearsal of Mahler's 6th Symphony with Donald Runnicles as conductor. Really enjoyed it.
