Just OK. Expected more. Mold between tiles in shower. Heating/AC the worst!!! Hardly runs. Hardly any air comes out.
Was so warm in room, I had to open the window - in December! Can you imagine the summer? Location is OK, nothing special. Front desk staff not nice - no friendliness whatsoever. Bellhops the best thing about this hotel! The nice lady who delivered my room service was so nice too! Other than that, not great. No restroom on lobby level - you had to go into the Brasserie Jo restaurant. They weren't the friendliest people either. Won't stay here again. Many other great places to stay that actually act like they're glad you are there. This place isn't one if them. Glad I only stayed one night. Not one single person asked me how my stay was.

We had high hopes as the Colonnade is a go-to for some of our friends when they visit Boston. My wife stayed recently with friends and had a horrible experience due to their room not having heat the entire weekend. They were given a space heater instead of a room move and told the GM would reach out to us via email, but no communication. In the end, they were given one day of parking for free, but a simple room swap would have been a better solution in my opinion. I realize that mechanical issues happen, but also know the hotel was switching over to turn on their A/C system this weekend and something needed to occur in every room to make it all work. They should plan that work better to not impact guests.

Excellent hotel. Came for the Boston Marathon and would definitely stay here again. Perfect location in Back Bay area and steps to the subway. Rooms are beautiful, clean and quiet. Very glad I stayed here and will stay again the next time I'm in Boston.

Wonderful experience except you need to know the roof top pool is open to folks in the neighborhood and it was FULL with no room for hotel guests. I tried several different days and times of the day and they cater to the 20-30 somethings in the neighborhood.

Otherwise, I would give hotel a strong 5 - even though they were in the middle of construction and restaurant was temporarily closed.

Clean and professional staff, room was smaller than expected but it was a pleasant stay .

I was here for a business convention and its great for that. For a personal trip I would stay somewhere cheaper. Thomas was awesome and made our stay feel like we were home. Didn't like the fact we stayed for a whole week and still had to pay full price and per day for parking. Deneke the doorman was great too and gave us places to eat we enjoyed immensely.

The staff at the hotel has been fabulous, and my rooms have been comfortable and clean. I also used the exercise facility, which was well-equipped and stocked with fresh fruit and water. Very nice! The only low point of my visit was a horribly noisy and rude family in the room next door that was literally screaming at each other late into the night. I called the front desk and they promptly moved me into a quiet room, with assistance from the bellman, an upgraded room for my trouble, and time to get a decent amount of sleep before a huge exam that I was scheduled to take in the morning. I'm extremely grateful for their help and understanding! I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel and location. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Only con was rooftop pool. It was small and too crowded. Certain areas were reserved for a charge even when there was nowhere else to sit.

Great hotel, everyone has been really helpful and accommodating. We stayed here for PAX East. The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy.

The team was exceptional. The staff went out of their way, during these times, to make us feel safe and comfortable. Everything was spotless even down to plastic covers on the pens to providing us with a device to not physically touch buttons on the elevator. I would strongly recommend this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and very current in its design and appeal. Bravo!

I stayed when I was on a conference. The hotel is ok and staff are friendly. For my conference rates, the other hotels offered much better value. The room doors are old. Ther rooms are big though. My bathroom door didn't close properly.
I would say middling at best--would be ok if the price was lower than similar hotels.

The Colonnade Hotel is a quiet, adult hotel and exceeded my expectations considering the price was half of the other hotels in Copley Square for New Years Eve.The entire staff were pleasant and helpful. It's a stone's throw from the Square. The other hotels nearby were chaotic and in disarray when compared to The Colonnade - they made you feel wanted. The Colonnade Hotel will be our new "Go to" hotel when in Boston.

We went for the roof top pool. On Friday, it's only $10 which is a great deal in Boston. It was not too crowded and for the most part people were respectful. There's were tvs and a bar and a nice view of the south end.

Quite outdated for Boston still nice but they definitely could spoof it up a lot Still comfortable quiet just kind of cluttered in hallways age and lack of caring is starting to show

The room was fine if not a little outdated. It was clean and close to downtown attractions. The floor in the shower was squishy...it felt like it was retaining water between the shower floor liner and shower floor. The walls are thin so I was able to hear everything going on in the room nextdoor.

The hotel is well located and everything is nearby.

I stayed here in late summer 2011. First off the location is great. Close to all the shops and restaurants you'd want. The staff we're really nice and helpful. The rooftop pool is really cool and relaxed. I wasn't paying but I hear the prices are really good value. Also, a shout out to the doorman Michael from Cork, really helpful and an awesome guy. Stay here, do it!

Very comfortable stay. Staff was excellent and very attentive. The extra little touches like the complimentary water bottles in the room and hot chocolate in the lobby was very nice. Convenient location.

Way over priced. No amenities. Air conditioner in our room did not work. NO restaurant, no lounge, no vending machine, no coffee chop, no ice machines on every floor. The good points are location, close to subway, close to mall.

A very comfortable and category hotel. Something old but very well maintained, in an excellent area near restaurants and in front of a shopping center. With a subway station at the door, close to a train station and minutes from downtown. As for the servixios excellent.

Very friendly service. Nice lobby. Rooms are a bit dated and need some tlc - they're also small (with small bathrooms). (We had a DVD player in the room.... Seemed a bit out of place). Bottled water for the keurig coffee machine was nice.

I planned an 11 person Bachelorette Weekend out of NY. Joe at the front desk was patient and pleasant, he went above and BEYOND when I probably drove him crazy!!!! Fred at the front desk was great as well!!!! The Colonnade was clean throughout the hotel and our rooms were amazing!!!!!!! HIGHLY recommend staying here!!! The rooftop pool has limited seating, so my suggestion is if you have a large party inquire about cabanas or get up there early to reserve seats! we sat beside the pool and still had an amazing time, our waitress Katie was there for our every need!!!!! I am already planning a trip back with my husband and daughter!!!!!!

Very nice hotel. Close to alot of things. Beautiful rooms and excellent service. My only complaint is that the doors are weighted to slam. And they slam all night.

Overall not a wow experience. Bed was comfortable but housekeeping never came to clean our room! We called and they said someone would come and we left for a wedding when we returned no one has come. We called again and they said they would send someone so we left the room and returned to no one had cleaned the room. The car and parking system is very odd. They held our keys but we had to park and get our vehicle. AC was very loud but room was very humid and hot!

Went to the Sympnony so I stayed overnight in Town. The Colonnade is on the 50yd like to everything on Huntington/Boyleston. Easy walking distance to everything. Prudential T Station right in front of the hotel. Terrific place! Will Return! Excellent Staff/Service. Spotlessly Clean. Great Hotel Bar after the show!

Rooms are nice. Location is good. Currently (13 Oct 2019) the restaurant is closed for remodel, so there is no onsite option. Fortunately there are lots of options nearby.

Although front desk staff is friendly and accommodating, the room itself is lacking in features would be helpful to a disabled guest. There are barriers at the transoms between the room and the bathroom which prevent a wheelchair from passing smoothly from one room to the other. The shower is of poor quality in terms of water pressure, but adequate. The roof top pool is fully accessible from the freight elevator, and was quite inviting in all respects. We expected a bit more for the ~$400 per night rate which was charged. The front desk/concierge person named Jen was very friendly and informative.

The Colonnade Boston hotel is a nice little hotel situated in a great area of Boston with plenty of access to great restaurants, great shopping, and great sightseeing. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and warm. Check out B&G oyster which is close by if you want the best lobster roll in town.

Colonnade Boston is such a charming hotel. It has a nice bright and modern lobby and the rooms are spacious and clean. I did a check based on a tip I learned from #hotelImpossible and it passed!

Anyway, I had a room with two double beds but unfortunately, neither the TV or Internet worked in my room. After troubleshooting for a while, the manager upgraded me to another room with King-size bed and was nice enough to apologize for the inconvenience personally. Their customer service is great.

The hotel is very close to Copley Square and Back Bay. It is definitely in a great location and close to the T. Would love to stay here again.

Always love to stay at the Colonnade Hotel!! The location can't be beat, whether going to a Sox game, shopping or dining. T stop outside of hotel is great. Brassiere Joe is always awesome-the drinks and desserts are awesome. As we are members of their loyalty program, we instantly get upgraded.

Couldn't imagine a better location for a hotel in Boston. My family and I spent a weekend here and could basically walk anywhere in the city that we wanted. close by to unbelievable shopping, dining and my personal favorite - the Fenway area. Not to mention the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Can't wait to come back sometime when the roof deck is open!

Excellent hotel for the marathon. Walking distance to the shuttle buses and finish area. Mall across the street with everything you need. Staff was very friendly and room was comfortable.

Good location, and professional service. There's a Green line (subway) right outside the hotel which connects to popular areas in Boston and Cambridge. There's a restaurant in-house which serves decent French food.

Mia was amazing and took great care of us! The hotel is centrally located with a short walk to shopping and Fenway Park. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for two days and was told parking was included. When I went to leave it cost me 96.00$ for parking. Enjoyed my stay right up until that point

The conference room was comfortable and suitable for the attendance at the meeting. Food services were also good. This hotel us easy to reach by public transportation and had a parking garage nearby.

The good: excellent service and location. The windows OPEN. Love hotels where you can get fresh air! The price ($120/$130) is a steal for the area. The cons: Outdated rooms and the heat was on high, so I had a choice of 75F or 30F (if I opened the window). I didn't complain while there, so they may have been able to do something about it.

If you're looking for a relaxing day by the pool don't come here! I was astonished at the amount of people who were at the pool. Come to find out they allow "day guests' to use their amenities. I couldn't find a seat anywhere and ended up sitting at the edge of the pool squished between kids jumping in and out of the water. I finally left after about 20 min. along with some other hotel guests who walked in and turned around and walked back out. Very disappointing and all the staff could say was...."sorry, maybe come back later". Ummmm, NOPE.

We are repeat Colonnade customers and we only live 3 miles away from the hotel. But when it comes to choosing a place to spend a weekend summer staycation, there is absolutely no question where we want to be. Soaking in the sun on the RTP, enjoying breakfast or lunch or both poolside, who could ask for a better way to relax? The staff always seems to go above and beyond to ensure that guests feel taken care of and have every need met. It's a great time, every time. And each time we're at the Colonnade we're left with the same two questions: 1.) should we stay an extra night? and 2.) how soon until we can come back? To which the answers are 'yes' and 'not soon enough.'

The hotel is in a great location - super walkable. The room is spacious and the staff was nice. However, the bed is a bit lumpy and the thermostat doesn't work very well. It wasn't too hot outside so we just cracked a window. It would not be too great if it was summer time.

Our room was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful(knowledgable) when asking about things to do or places to eat.

With its recent renovations, the Colonnade Hotel is inviting, warm, and just a super cool place to stay. The staff is helpful and courteous, the food delicious, and the fine details (turn down service, water bottles in room, bath rubber ducky for kiddos, etc) are fun, but also make for a very comfortable stay. It's also steps from the metro station and conveniently located across the street from the Prudential Center and close to many restaurants and services.

The Colonnade was great! The location was close to everything, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and decently sized. My favorite thing was probably the shower pressure - best shower I've had in a while!

The staff were so friendly and treated my husband and I like we were the only guests there. Very personalized service... and the room was absolutely gorgeous! Made our honeymoon wonderful!

The room was in my opinion over priced for what we got. I undersrand its boston and everything is pricey, but to not include the cost of parking??? On top of the pricey room fee, there is an additional 48.00 fee ro park in the hotel parking garbage. I booked directly through the hotel and paid more than my sister-in law that booked through a booking app despite there guarantee that suggest otherwise...

This is my fourth stay at the Colonnade. The room is very nice, the location is perfect, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Will definitely stay here again.
