Thought we would try chuck's roadhouse in ingersoll, as the London location has become our favorite but ingersoll is closer to us, and boy was that a mistake! Asked for my steak to be done very well, told the server I wouldn't eat it if it was even a little pink, and when I cut into it the blood poured out, was RED inside! I left the restaurant hungry, and they did not even put a discount on our bill. Next time I'm treated to a day off from cooking a family dinner, we will be driving the extra distance to go to London. So disappointed and a waste of my time and money

Service is great...prices are great...portions are great. Only had 1 issue with our visit. I had the 2 piece fish & chips. Fish (haddock) was cooked well and was very tasty...french fries were like cardboard. Too bad...everyone else said the same thing.
Went for dinner Friday evening - there were 6 adults, 1 child, 1 baby. We thought when we pulled into the driveway that the place would be busy, but when we walked in, it was pretty quiet.
There were probably MORE staff working then tables filled. When we told the hostess how many of us there was, she looked annoyed that she had to find a table to seat us... we pointed one out to her to make her life a little easier.
Our server was not diligent in any way, shape, or form. She took our drink orders - which all came scattered.. and half of them missed. When we asked for our drinks, again, she seems annoyed. It took 2 at our table over 20 minutes to get WATER. (which tasted terrible for some reason..)
Then, our food came out by 3 different servers. (which is fine, i understand helping each other out...), however, the whole time we were there, not once we were asked if we wanted a refill, if we were enjoying our meals if we needed anything. We constantly had to flag down our server and request a drink..Then we ordered a round of shots for our table (5 shots).. we watched them get made immediately..... and sit at the bar for 15 minutes before one of us had to go over and ask someone to bring them to us... (as servers stood around them chatting)
This wouldn't have been so annoying if the restaurant had been busy - but as i had mentioned, it was very quiet. We continued to watch about 7 staff stand up around the bar and chat. Seems to me like they need new management, or training, or some common sense. This is a ridiculous way to run a business. I hope for the business owners sake that they find some servers who actually do their jobs. We will not be returning.
My sprite tasted burnt and was not drinkable so I then ordered water which was straight out of a toilet, it's horrible I've been waiting an hour and I haven't been served a drink and just ordered my food.
First time there yesterday night. Service was great, managers were checking in, food was quick and excellent! Beers too big to finish. Great atmosphere, my parents, my daughter and myself all felt comfortable. Will definitely come back for the food and service, not too mention the value! Highly recommend for a roadhouse. You want keg steaks, go pay keg prices. This place is great.
Other visits were fairly decent. This occasion was terrible. Waited 40min for 3 plates of food. When it came one steak was ice cold, and my sons fish was raw in the middle. Because there was no followup on the food from the waitress, I had to hunt her down. She also failed to make sure we had enough cutlery at the table. All food was replaced promptly. To top of the experience, Chuck's places a 3% 'honest to goodness' tax (before government tax), to not have to increase the cost of menu items? Hello?? Same thing, just a very gimmicky tactic to make the actual printed prices in the menu cheaper. Well... Add on 3% beside every price you see. Funny thing is, I work around the corner from this place and I frequent it with business partners for lunch. I'll have a hard time finding a reason to not try alternatives.
Great food good atmosphere; great interior decoration. If you are from outside of Ingersoll and looking for a good place in Ingersoll; this is the place to go.
Horrible service, took forever to even get water, which never got refilled. Food was bad too, my fries were cold, chicken burger was ok. My wife's wrap smelled and tasted weird, no one checked back in with us until I asked for the bill. They asked why she didn't eat the wrap, we said why, then she went back to the kitchen with it and came back out and said "it tastes funny because of the dressing". Well then why use the dressing if you know it tastes funny. They didn't offer to replace it and we still got charged full price for it. Got her a big Mac on the way home
Terrible service. Completely ignored by waitress the entire time. After she took our order she never came back to the table. Our meal was served by someone else. It was missing food and had the wrong steak. Nobody came by and asked if the food was ok or even if we wanted a refill on our drinks. This is the fourth time we have had a bad experience there. Never going back and definitely don't recommend it.
It is rely good for pricing if you are drinking, food is like border line.. great people tho, again if you want to drink for a good price this is the place!
Worst service of all time just went in just a few minutes ago and after waiting exactly 14 minutes we decided to up and leave cause no one even came by to ask if we needed drinks or to even give us a menu. So sad I had to give this restaurant a star . Guess when you get cheap food you get cheap service
Service was terrible! We had a party of at least 12. We waited for 20 minutes and no one came over to take our orders. When someone from our group told the waitress that more were coming, she rolled her eyes at us, turned and walked off. We waited another 10 minutes but still no one came, so we left. Very disappointing as we like to support local establishments.
They ve got one good waitress, it s Fez from that 70 s show out there working his hind end off for an honest buck, while the rest of the staff are ripping darts at VMS, cheap though
I'm from Ingersoll went here to watch the Raptors game and met up with some friends, waited for 40 minutes with no server coming and taking our order so I went to the bar to get a drink for me and my girlfriend was told to go sit back down and wait for our server (who hasn't been seen in 40 minutes)
I told her the server hasn't been around once then she started to yell and blame me for where I sat and told me it's my fault. Very unprofessional and down right rude. I always give servers the benefit of the doubt because I know how hard there job is but this was just unbelievable. Oh and when our other friends did end up getting there drinks the waitress came to the table and said they had 2 seconds to figure who ordered which ones or shes just bringing them back.
Also were yelled at when a server came over and threatened to take away our food because she thought we didnt order it and asked "what was wrong with us" for eating other people's food which we fully knew was ours that we had ordered and was confirmed by another waitress moments after.
Great food, great service, great price! Only complaint is it is a bit chilly especially when the front door opens, there isn't really anything to block the air coming in.
Music was insanely loud, and place had 9 people in there that already had there food and it took over 40 min to receive some of the most smallest fatty wings I've ever had. Could hear Staff in the kitchen laughing and joking almost the entire time.
Honestly not impressed. My daughter got a kids meal of a cheese burger and it was burnt to an absolute crisp. When our waitress came finally came around to check on us I told her about the problem and she retorted with....well they are char broiled you know! I'm sorry but my daughter couldn't even bite it...seriously it was a rock and I'm not sure how that was OK to even send out of the kitchen. There is a big difference between char broiled and charcoal. My husband had about 2 bites of his meal and then stopped eating because he said it tasted like his meat sat in the freezer for 2 years. The reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is because they at least made right on the kids meal and took that off of our bill.
I like Chucks in general, quality, value for money, the only reason for 4 stars is I had a rack of ribs, and they were not cooked as I liked from other chucks locations, The bones came not clean off the meat, "fall of the bones" as it should be, and colourwise they looked a bit pale, taste was good. Service no complains,

Whether your watching a game with the mates, or in need of some afordable tasty food. I have yet to be here when it's not almost full. Staff is always friendly and ready to serve. Keep up the great work
We had a large table reservation and the staff was amazing. Everything was fast, hot and correct. Kitchen staff is amazing for feeding a large group all together and so fast and accurate! Great job
