Amazing hotel. Great service. Comfortable and clean rooms. We'll be back again and again. Steps from the green line. Great restaurant on site and all around the area. We were recommending this spot to friends before we even checked out!

Great location and has always been our first choice when in Boston but this stay was a little less " top shelf" due to the fact the restaurant was closed and no prior notification was made to us.

The hotel was located at the downtown Boston. So, it was easy to acess the attractions such as the Boston commom and churches. Hotel Staffs were kind, the room was clean, and beds were comfortable. However it was noisy because of the toad traffic at nights and hotel renovations.

Door men very helpful. House keeping crew very polite and helpful, they do their job well. But for $319 per night we only had a coffee pot, two beds and a washroom. So the price of downtown area with a motel type of room. Is it worth it? If you book here do it online, you will get a cheaper price. Calling them is a rip off.

This is advertised as a 4 star hotel. It is really a 3 star hotel. The rooms feel cramped, and the air conditioning is both loud and ineffective. The elevators are hot from lack of adequate ventilation. The rooftop pool is small. The restaurant is currently closed for remodeling.

Room was grimy. Smokers on my (non-smoker) floor. Old and not maintained - feels like a 1-star hotel.

Was really surprised because many of the reviews had been so positive. I re-read them below and noticed that many of the positive reviews are from Google Local Guides.

Great hotel; superb location; staff is excellent. Also, enjoyed the proximity of the garage next to the hotel so you can get to your car or get something in your car if you need it without traveling far or need to contact the valet.

Meh it's ok, amazing staff. Really nice interior though. But, there are things that need to be updated. For instance, the ihome radio on the nightstand that is basically obsolete because not one apple product uses anything but a lightning port or USBc. Also, there isn't nearly enough power outlets. I stayed at another hotel that was like a holiday to stay at (hint hint), even there was a plethora of outlets on the nightstand in order for me to plug in multiple devices. Might seem petty, but it's always the small things.

Very clean. Service was impeccable. Older property but everything gives the impression of solidity. Upper rooms surprisingly quiet at night. Overall an excellent stay, and this will be my choice for future prudential/hynes events.

Absolutely beautiful!!! The rooftop pool was a perfect escape from the craziness of the city. Everyone who worked there was pleasant and helpful. The rooms are a nice size with beautiful views. Centrally located. I would definitely stay there again!

Very clean and spacious room, nice staff, excellent access by the green line. Walking distance from a supermarket, seven-eleven and restaurants, making the stay easy for families. The large bookstore in Prudential Center (also very close to the hotel) was also nice (selling toys for kids as well).

Hotel of a bygone era for old, rich folks with bellhops that won't back off and valets that want your cash. Rooms are smallish and feel cramped. View from entire window wall is good but limits wall outlets. Lamp design doesn't accommodate larger Apple charger. Toilets are small. Irons and ironing boards are cheap and the restaurant is expensive. I won't stay here again. Not traveler friendly.

We have stayed at the Colonnade a dozen times and have had consistently good stays there. We love the location near Copley Place and across the street from the Prudential Center. The inhouse restaurant is a great place for a late dinner or snack. Recommend the hotel highly.

Great location! We walked to Fenway Park, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, the SoWa market and the Boston Common. We also walked to Newbury St for dinner (Stephanie's On Newbury was great). One bus ride took us to the Harvard Museum of Natural History. Room service was delicious. All the staff were polite & very helpful.

WORST RESERVATION EXPERIENCE EVER. Seriously. To avoid any problems, I called the hotel directly (not going through a 3rd party like Expedia) to book, received two email confirmations directly from the hotel with confirmations and numbers, and they cannot find our reservation. Totally incompetent.

Hotel of great charm even if the structure would need some tweaking. Value for money and excellent price since everything in Boston is quite expensive. Great location in a neighborhood with various restaurants and clubs and in front of the metro stop. You arrive from the airport in half an hour and downtown in 10 minutes. Nice pool with rooftop bar for some relaxation.

Acceptable rooms, bathroom door did not lock properly and there were some exposed pipes. Toilet was not stable and shower pressure was very very very high, to the point of slightly uncomfortable, but better than the alternative.

I had a phenomenal experience staying at the Colonnade. The Bell Hops are awesome and always welcoming and willing to go the extra step to help with bags or hail a cab or assist with an Uber. Most of the time I was there people complained of Uber's picking them up across the street and one of the men up front told me day one that if I'd put in the hotel address and not the hotel name, I'd be picked up promptly out front and I had no issues all week with them coming to the right location. Great place, great people. Definitely recommend.

There was a wet gooey substance on the carpet left by the previous guest that I kept walking through barefoot. I mentioned it the next morning when I mentioned the clogged toilet. No one ever cleaned it. On a bizarre note, one bellman who helped us actually wiped the smile off of his face every time he spoke to me with a look of tight hatred. I have no idea what was going on there, but he did it all 3 times I spoke to him. I am a pretty cheerful person and I tip nicely having been in the industry, but he either did not like something about me or he simply does not like people. I am not clear why he has that position. I do not generally deal with such things when I travel. In fact, the entire reason I choose hotels in the price range is because I don't have to deal with this. Staff is usually friendly, the room is generally clean and I happily go about my business. At the very least, when something goes wrong remedy is swift and gracious. I would put this experience in the category of indifferent and well below average. I regretted choosing the Colonnade.

The event space we were in was relatively small - probably good for 60-70 people. The food and drinks served after was excellent (sushi, Mac and cheese balls, and mini grilled cheese). Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall property looked high end! Would go back to stay or for an event

great hotel, esp for the money - room is nice, clean - hotel is starting to age, but, the niceties far outweigh and of those concerns. the roof top pool and bar is lovely, but typically jam packed - with people both staying at and not staying at the hotel. overall, a lovely hotel - i would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is nice, but the hefty cost per night and the costly rate of $48 per night to self park, makes the stay almost unenjoyable. I cringe everytime I think about being taken advantage of for no ungodly reason. The hotel is located in a good area. We felt safe and had some nearby places to eat.

I had a great stay at the Colonnade for Anime Boston weekend. Friendly desk service, a nice size room, and the hotel overall was clean and professional which made my weekend getaway feel extra special. They also offered to store our luggage for free after check out. The Prudential station T stop is located directly outside which is incredibly convenient. The only issue I had was my morning shower water could have been hotter! Definitely booking next year.

Very pleased with my experience. The staff are all friendly and courteous, the room spotlessly clean. The hotel is well-located for anything in Back Bay and the Copley Mall is right across the street.

The Colonnade has an exceptional set of rooms and exceptional guest service - my flight coming into Boston landed at 4AM and they were able to get me a room once I arrived at the hotel. Amazing experience.

We stayed at the Colonnade for a few nights after our wedding. The staff from check in to check out were incredibly helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were clean each time we arrived back. Despite renovations being made to the lobby, we didnt hear any construction work, or notice any dirt or dust from the work. I would recommend the colonnade to anyone staying in Boston!

What a cheerful hotel. The Old Town Trolley has a stop right in front of the hotel that provides a 2hr tour of Boston complete with options to tour at all 19 stops. The green line T train station stops at Prudential which is exactly at the front of the hotel. Roof top pool, weight room on the 5th floor, it's own restaurant and much more! Enjoy!

Housekeeping was sub par. Housekeepers are loud in the hallway in the Morning. When Room door closes it slams like a bolt of lightning is hitting. It is extremely loud. There was not a vent in the bathroom. It was difficult to breath as a result.

Great hotel with convenient access to T, local market, and shopping. We stayed there for 5 nights and enjoyed location and convenience. The subway access at the front door allows us to come back frequently for rest. It is walking distance to the Boston Symphony hall (or just 1 T stop away). It is also directly across from Copley shopping center.

Great location for everything in Boston. The T is right outside the front door which is a quick ride to pretty much everything in Boston. Took the T to Fenway then enjoyed the 15 minute walk back to the hotel with the crowd after the game. It was a quick walk to Newbury St. for some shopping, plus not a bad distance to Boston Common and Quincy Market. My feet hurt from all the walking BUT I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Boston - the location was just perfect!
One question....what's up with the rubber ducks?

Great hotel and lovely, friendly and helpful staff. The bar and restaurant were closed for our stay, which was a pain, but the staff recommended a local hostelry (Lucca) which was excellent, so only a mild inconvenience (Room service was very good, so not a real problem for breakfast etc.)

Great location near the Prudential Center. Green Line stop is directly in front of the hotel. Pricey for style and layout of room. Building was undergoing renovations; did not affect our stay.

Great room, good furniture and location. My one complaint was that the room I was in had very little soundproofing so I could hear my neighbors too easily. I requested another room and they were very helpful in moving me
