Usually water pressure is a good thing, but the showers in this hotel remind me of the effort I put into cleaning a sidewalk. Also, the rooms are cold and the heat doesn't work very well. Other than that, bed comfort is very high and staff is friendly.
It took us over 15 minutes to try and find a spot in the parking garage. Finally we found a man that worked there and he took the car for us. We told the front desk attendants, which they gave us a card for the parking fee. Now we go out to leave, our truck was parked in the ramp. I had to move around the truck to help my husband get out of the spot. Since they left us so much space to get out. Then we go and put the card into the machine, it says it is invalid, can not read. I called from my phone, we rang the bell and they told us we needed to come to the front desk??? Seriously? We are now blocked in by the people behind us who are trying to get out as well. Staying at your l and having such issues with trying to get in and out was more stressful than dropping my daughter off at college. After being charged over $400 for a room, getting stuck in the parking garage? I don t think there is anything you could do to make me or my family want to stay in your hotel again.

The Colonnade was surprisingly not an experience I thoroughly enjoyed, nor would it be a highly recommended place considering the money I spent. The staff was great, however, room service was not available 24 hours which was a problem for me. Also, the shower was just not user friendly at all. Seemed like a mission to get warm water. Lastly, the double room setting was very odd, the television was visible to one of the beds, the other person on the other bed had to lay at an angle to view the television. After spending a lot of money you would expect these basic things to be on point.
The roof top pool is very nice but the rooms may be wet and smelly
Gorgeous rooms for a fairly gorgeous price. If you don't come here to stay, come for the delicious cocktails served in the restaurant attached to the hotel, Brasserie Jo
great hotel, good location and the rooftop pool is a real bonus. A dress code in public areas such as reception would be good
This hotel has an excellent service from the check in to check out was so easy. They made an effort to surprise me a bottle of champagne for my Birthday. I love everything on this hotel. Great location. We'll be back and stay here again. Feels like home. Highly recommended
Good hotel if you are attending a meeting at the Hynes Convention Center.
Fancy hotel in a fancy location.
Decent gym
Great staff.
Thanks for your hospitality and
many kindnesses!
Professional, kind, and attentive staff, but advertising this hotel as "contemporary luxury" is a straight up lie. This place is beyond dated and significantly more expensive than much nicer hotels nearby which makes me feel duped. Simply an uncomfortable place to stay while away from home. AC's are loud, beds are hard, rooms are tiny, and the lobby is empty with free water as the only amenity. Not a four star hotel. One star for the dishonest marketing.
Great location. Beautiful hotel -- the parts that are remodeled. Check first that the pool is open and the restaurant is open. Both were closed when we were there. The staff is excellent.
Still a4 star experience, the Colonnade Hotel continues to pamper their guests
We had an amazing stay there. Great location, room was nice and big. Loved it, will definitely go back.
Nice hotel with good sized rooms and ideally located in the Back Bay Area. Tea & Coffee facilities in the room with free bottled water as well. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated. As we visited in October we weren't fussed about the fact the rooftop pool wasn't available. Really appreciated the fact that the Green Line stop is directly outside, especially after a long day sightseeing in the city.
Beautiful Roof Patio, Pool and Bar. Great view of the City! Amazing small apps!
Parking lot is always full, but you wouldn't know it because automatic gate always opens. Was there for a meeting, sitting near doors to kitchen. Noise from staff on other side of doirs was way above acceptable. Needs improvement.
This isn't exactly what I would call a "luxury" hotel. I stayed here for business in November 2016 and while the location was convenient, I wasn't overly impressed with the room. Simply put, if I had paid for this on my own dime, I would have been pretty annoyed.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the quality and cleanliness of the rooms was sub par. The shower, in particular, looked like it hadn't been scrubbed for some time (dirty grout and a ring around the tub); the walls were scraped and dirty; there were holes in the comforter, etc. These are not things I would ever expect to find in a "luxury" hotel.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend.
Note to the hotel, where are all the outlets? In 2016, I expect a hotel (and especially those in a business area) to have a reasonable number of easily accessible outlets for charging purposes.
Modern hotel very convenient to the metro with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.
Absolutely loved this hotel!
Amazing beds, perfect bathroom and so much space! Also, the room service was very yummy!
Only downfall was that it smelt like someone had been smoking in the room before us.
Hotel is under renovation. Lobby and hallways are dark and dingy looking. Would not recommend. Very disappointed when we walked in. Not worth the money.
Very nice hotel, though parking fee is confusing. The fee came out to be $66 even though we were told it'd be around $40. We found out later that we could've used our hotel keycard in one of the machines that prints out the parking permits but of course it was too late. Other than that, the rooms are very nice. Nice view outside and confortabke beds.
Jenni on the roof top pool was great. Fred, Ryan and Shay Town were the best front desk ever. The room was perfect, the location couldn't be better and I had an amazing weekend. Thank you!
Quiet room. Super comfy bed and pillows. Perfect location and right next to the subway station. Will definitely stay here again.
Overall, a really great stay. Staff were helpful and courteous. The room was clean and spacious but the view was crummy. They provide water bottles which is a nice touch. There is a fridge in the room. I loved the rooftop pool though the service wasn't great. You may want to sit close to the bar if you are planning to order a lot. Also, try to go early in the day because it gets very crowded. Location is perfect, it was very easy to get around, I think I only used a cab once my whole weekend. I did have an issue with my key card resetting which was resolved but a bit of a hassle as I was locked out of my room coming back from the pool with no id or anything.
This hotel is in a great location next to shopping and public transportation. Service was good, but would not recommend the RTP on a hot summer day, no seating and service average the staff did not clean and clear the table/chairs quickly enough to make available for other guests who stood around waiting for seating. Went back to the pool on a foggy rainy day and had a near privet pool experience.
The hotel has a European-French character. The lobby and corridors are ordinary but the rooms are excellent and the furniture is renovated and very nice as its area is suitable. Rooms overlooking the public street have a very impressive view. The location is very excellent because in the same street on the opposite side there is a shopping mall and restaurants and the hotel is close to the Westin Hotel and Marriott. The tourist bus has a station right in front of the hotel's gate and the hotel offers tourist bus tickets at a convenient price. The hotel breakfast is very limited too
This was our first visit to Boston and the staff went out of their way to make sure we got the best experience , and we did. The room was great with a amazing view of the city. Very comfortable. Very friendly and professional staff , I will definite be back!
A beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location across from the prudential centre.
Fabulous location! Easy to walk to great restaurants in Newbury street. Room was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. Great roof top pool too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Great location, large comfortable and clean room, friendly helpful and professional staff. I like it!
Where do I start. The smell if vanilla is strong and hits your sense of smell like a sledgehammer. I booked the room through travel zoo which confused the front desk staff regarding the breakfast and parking. The room was clean. The mirrors made me look really good (kind of fun house optics). I liked the free WiFi. The hallways were dark but well decorated. There was no I've bucket out glass glasses in the room which was slightly disappointing. The Continental breakfast was great. The pineapple was fresh as was all the fruit. Everything that was in the buffet ended up in my plate and was amazing. I would stay here again if the price was right.
Wonderful dining at Brasserie Jo. Explored the Pru Center. Woul;d recommend hotel to friends !
Awesome location in the Back Bay and a stones throw to the Prudential. Lots of great restaurants nearby and a ten minute walk to Newbury St.
The Colonnade hotel is located perfectly, great service and friendly staff
An elegant hotel. Had rooftop cocktail party in reserved cabana area.. rooftop pool very popular. Drinks and appetizers at rooftop restaurant were excellent.
Came 5o a catered wedding here. Appetizers before wedding were divine. Cheese table was a nice touch! Catered dinner of salmon and short ribs was very good. Wait staff professional and courreous.
Rooms are not tiny and very comfortable. Slept well..
Wonderful experience!!
