I have been a loyal customer here for years- it's a great place for lunch with friends or dinner- you can even see Joe Biden from time to time! The salads are great- I love the curry chicken salad, and the Queen pizza with a wonderful mushroom duxelles sauce. And their famous Tomato soup is a must have!

Pizza and wine were excellent with great variety. Decor was very chic and elegant. The prices were moderate but set for fine dining. I went on a Friday evening and the staff were very friendly, however our waiter seemed to be preoccupied by his female admirers and rushed our service. 4 out of 5 only because of the service. Will try again when we feel like dressing up for pizza.
The first time I ate the super fresh mozzarella cheese, the food and sauce were delicious, the dining atmosphere was good, and the menu was named after the celebrity or star.
The price is moderate, it is suitable for the whole family to eat.
If you have never tried the Saint Pizza at Pizza by Elizabeths you haven't tasted the best pizza in the world. Visit this place on Friday night they will have a band playing.
Really great pizza! I'd recommend "the shannon" if you're a fan of more exotic flavors. The decor is also beautiful and the restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere.
Worst pizza I've had. The food is over priced in general. We went for lunch on a sunday and place was not crowded yet. The coffee was not hot and the pizza was undercooked and tasteless.
Food was fantastic here. The salad I ordered with shrimp came to me with almost as many medium sized shrimp as there were spinach leaves. Pizzas are on the small side for the price, but they all have specialty toppings that you won't see in a mom/pop pizzeria. Everything is on the expensive side, but worth the extra cost of you value quality over quantity. If you're looking for Cheesecake Factory sized plates, go elsewhere.
We visited on a recent Sunday(reservation on OpenTable)and had a pleasant meal. I am vegan and liked having options for my pizza. My family also had pizzas they created and they also enjoyed their appetizers. Busy, but not crazy.
It was okay, espresso martini was stronger than expected, caesar salad was good, pizza was okay - a bit disappointed in their size proportion on what they presented out as a regular which is what a small or personal size would be in a typical pizza place, but the made up for it with the dessert. As for price, you are paying more for the atmosphere vs the food so much.
Business lunch for myself and two guests. I often take business associates to this place, because the food is consistently good, and there are options for a variety of palates and dietary restrictions. Normally, the service is also good. This time, the server was in a foul mood, and made that clear to all of us, spoiling the meal. So I'll be choosing another place from now on.
I have lived within 10 minutes of this establishment my whole life and only went for the first time last year. Since then, I have had many great experiences at this restaurant. I most recently took my mom for her birthday and couldn't have enjoyed the food any more. We over ordered because they have so many good dishes on their menu. Love all their unique pizzas but also all their other dishes.
The food and service are amazing! Breadsticks were good for sharing since they were long, but the dipping sauces were good too! The pizza was even better! I ordered a mini personal ham and pineapple pizza and there were plenty of toppings on it! The inside is nice too, it has an artsy vibe inside of it, and servers are amazing too. They even give you toffee at the end of your meal, which is a nice finish. Will be back and I highly recommend this place!
We had a baby shower for 50 people here on a Sunday in their private room. I had heard about this place but never been inside. When you enter from the parking lot you are in a grotto with tables and a fountain. Right there you realize this not an ordinary shopping center restaurant. There is a large bar area with TV's and a large dining area. The private dining area for parties is very spacious. The pizzas were delicious we had 8 different types and they were all eaten with great reviews from the guests. The appetizers were good each one done with a little extra flare. Interesting dips for the crudites, fabulous whipped creams for the cut fruit, one was peanut butter and had everyone coming back for seconds. The staff was great and thought of everything down to a trash bag for the wrapping paper from the gifts and a cart to take your gifts to the car. The attention to detail made for some very happy memories.
I don t see what all the buzz is about. Pizza was okay, but not crispy. Overpriced for what you get. The crab and artichoke dip starter is good though and the staff is friendly.
After visiting the Nemours Mansion, my family and I were looking for a nearby place for lunch. I used the google map search and found Pizza by Elizabeth. It is a great spot in a small mall and the layout is very open. The prices are very reasonable and there is an option to choose how your pizza is made.
We had my daughter's baby shower here today. I can't begin to tell you how fantastic everything was!!! The food, the drinks, the staff were all top notch and they couldn't have been any nicer or easier to work with and I'll definitely go back - and I live in Dover!!! This restaurant was totally worth the trip! Thank you, PBE
Found this place on a whim on the way back from Wilmington. We were looking for a casual lunch spot so took to Yelp to find a fitting location.
This place has great reviews, and the options for vegetarians were decent (and who doesn't like pizza?)
It's located in a large shopping complex right off the main road so be sure you look out for it as you near or you'll miss where you have to enter into the plaza - and then you're stuck turning around and trying again (and all that mumbo jumbo that comes with it...)
Upon entering, there is a small outdoor/indoor space with a relaxing water fixture and small tables before entering into the main dining space. Inside it's open concept and very comfortable. The bar meets you on the right, and the reception counter to check in is adjacent to the bar.
I had made a reservation and we were a few minutes early, but they were able to seat us readily - woot woot!
The menu is pretty diverse - I love that there were vegan and gluten free options. There's also monthly specials in the beginning of the menu - the list showcases dishes using more seasonal ingredients. We chose to go with the "regular" pizza pie - and they were able to split the pie into two different variations (since we couldn't decide on just one recipe hehe). The pizza was delicious! The portion was ample and I could taste all the ingredients. It was just the right amount of hearty without feeling stuffed - which is always my yardstick of measure of how much I enjoyed a meal haha.
The server was great in answering all our questions, and checked in on us plenty to see how things were going. We definitely enjoyed ourselves, and ended up staying through the lunch crowd to dinner time! Even so, there was no rush from the wait staff to move us along which was very nice of them to let us hang.
I'm definitely going to keep this place in mind if I find myself in the area again. I'll be looking forward to trying more menu options and since there's more to discover with the changing specials - who knows what's in store!
Wow! We went there today before going to Winterthur Museum. I had never been there before, but read about it online. What a wonderful surprise! Decor is kooky, but classy and retro. Food was superb, fresh and served with a smile! I highly recommend this place.
Great restaurant with great Pizzas and Salads. Some of these pizzas have a very similar taste of that you get in Italy. Service is upto the mark with great employees speedy orders. Quit and clean atmosphere that most of the people enjoy.
Good pizza but they need to clarify their menu. If you make your own pizza the sauce and cheese count as toppings so we got charged an extra few dollars per pizza because their menu is very vague and misleading the way it's laid out. I also got a very stuck up vibe for a pizza place that's in a strip mall. I won't be back because I know I can get better pizza for much cheaper and without the attitude somewhere else.
First time in the Greenville Center and coming into this little gem. With a ton of covered outdoor seating, there are seats for all. The inside dining room is absolutely gorgeous and strategically spaced to be COVID-19 compliant. All of the wait staff were using hand sanitizer and masks. The mini pizzas are 7 inches while the regular is 12 inches. It s wonderful that they have the create your own pizza, and cherry on top is the vegan options for those with dietary/allergy restrictions. I will definitely be returning here!
I try to swing by here when I come to town for business. It is an excellent lunch spot - fast, tasty, with some eclectic pizza options. The decor certainly makes for an interesting talking point when bringing new folks! Good for a group gathering, too.
Dessert was the best part of this meal! Would highly recommend the cookie bomb! The pizza was good too! The restaurant has a cool artsy vibe to eat. My only complaint was that I saw a wasp flying around my table and could not concentrate on my food because I was watching my back the whole time. Service was super friendly.
Very good restaurant. Known for their pizza but all their food is good. Service is good. They serve unique meals and I like that. Hate eating the same thing at different restaurants.
First time I ever ate here was tonight. The food was awesome. I had the artichoke crab dip with honey wheat breadsticks. For the entree I had tuna with asparagus and wasabi mash potatoes. I had a bloody mary which was very spicy, the way I like it. Highly recommend this place for dinner. We ate at the bar, which was a great experience. 2 very attentive bartenders.
Is this place under new management??? Been going since the old location- have not been in awhile and went tonight and was very disappointed- sat on the patio- our server was amazing I think her name was Carol? Literally the only saving grace of the night. The food wasn't what we all remembered- they must of gotten rid of the old head chef or the same head chef has gotten lazy- they messed our order up so It took extra long, pizzas wer covered in grease- disgusting! We all saw different servers running food helping out but didn't see any manager doing anything (usually not the case- use to always see a manger running food and just being present- his name was Steve I think??? Didn't see him tonight) the new owner (or old owner) needs to wake up and realize what's happening to a staple of the area very sad- doubt Il b bringing any family back- if ur debating on spending money on over priced food take my advice- go to another restaurant- pizza by Elizabeth's has gone down the drain!!!!!!
Their specialty is good. Chili was also good on a cold day. Bothers me that they keep their water and iced tea refill pitchers between the bench seating close to the backs of patrons. Like close enough that hair or anything else can get in them. Use pitchers with lids or move them farther from guest seating.
Great place - not cheap but not expensive and worth the money - great atmosphere- great drinks - great pie - great for a date that's not awkwardly overpriced but not applebees or pizza hut lol
Pizza By Elizabeth's is one my favorite places to eat. The food is unique and fresh and the decor is beautiful and classy. They recently did a banquet and the ambiance, service, and food was incredible. Guests had a great time.
We struggle to find truly great pizza in the area, and while we haven't quite found it at Elizabeth's, they are the best we've found. Love the atmosphere here. It is very well managed and 100% reliable. Can't go wrong here.
Had the Boop Pizza this time and it does not disappoint. I am not a big pizza fan in general anymore but this has been a solid find. Thanks to my daughter for recommending it.
Pizza was fairly good, but waitress didn't get the toppings right. Fellow diners had lasagna that was barely warm. Service was slow too. We sat for a long time with dirty plates. I've had better experiences here, so I hope it was just an off night
While "high-end" and pizza don't normally go together, the folks at PBE seem to pull it off with ease. I only wish I could afford to eat there more often.
Delicious and creative dishes. Their pizza flavors are inventive, their crust is traditional, all around to-die-for pizza. The service is friendly and fast and the atmosphere is casual yet beautiful and classy. A real favorite eatery with our family.
Went here on a recommendation and wow! We were not dissapointed! Have salad, mango tea, and 4 different mini pizzas split between 2 couples. Good portions and fabulous service from Tom make us all want to come back!
