We had high hopes as the Colonnade is a go-to for some of our friends when they visit Boston. My wife stayed recently with friends and had a horrible experience due to their room not having heat the entire weekend. They were given a space heater instead of a room move and told the GM would reach out to us via email, but no communication. In the end, they were given one day of parking for free, but a simple room swap would have been a better solution in my opinion. I realize that mechanical issues happen, but also know the hotel was switching over to turn on their A/C system this weekend and something needed to occur in every room to make it all work. They should plan that work better to not impact guests.
