One of the best deals on Providence restaurant week. With great staff and a phenomenal experience this place elevates the dining and drinks game to the next level. Weather you're at the bar or grabbing dinner on the floor the staff will make sure you feel welcome and accommodated. Great steaks bring the whole experience up a level.

We witnessed a horrible wrong!! Two girls were refused service after providing their id's they were asked for a srcond form of id, then refusrd service. They were dressed professional and were very polite and did not deserve the way they wete treated. Nicole the waitress was rude and unprofesional. I appologize to the two girls. Talking to them after, they are here from Texas in a profesional capacity and were leaving after dinner. Rediculous that two 29 year old woman cannot dine in a resturant without harassment. I will not return.

Yes it's got the name and yes, one pays very much for the experience so my guests know they're important to me. Front of house was just ok, my waitress was thoughtful and professional. However the appetizer calamari was nothing special and kind of oily - yes I know it's fried but this can be done better. The NE clam chowder was meh. My steak was good but $55 good? No. The sides, while generous, we're fatty and rather bland. I had a much better Venezualian meal last night at Orinoco in Boston for 75% less. Maybe I've just moved on from the Capital Grille to more interesting ethnic food. When on business, guess it's the right choice but not for my money. We can do better.

Typical New England food experience: the food was good but not great, and for the price ($147 for 2 people), it was definitely not worth it. Unfortunately, I didn't get the sense that there's much better food anywhere in Providence.

The food is usually good and the wine is good. Sat outside ....had a reservation for outside seating they continued tell me it was not marked for outside seating that's exactly what I confirmed with the woman the night before.. they almost didn't give me my table... I expressed that I traveled over 45 minutes to get there from MA... Then the manager made some condescending comments and walked away...I was kind of shocked about that.. because of that I won't be coming back in the near future..

I will never understand why people pay $100 for a meal they can get elswhere for under $50. The food was very good, but not worth what we paid. It's a nice looking place, great service, but one visit was enough for me.

Went for restaurant week and had an amazing meal for under $40. Clam Chowder is among the best I've had. The 14oz NY Strip is outstanding. The Shallot butter is a must have with the steak. Loved every bite.

Excellent location. Much better than the one in Chestnut Hill because it's less cramped and very scenic. Though the food and staff at Chestnut Hill are excellent, it's so cramped in there. Very little privacy due to its tightly stacked tables together. This place here is spacious. It's gorgeous location is what did it for me. The food was great as expected. As well as the waitstaff.

Celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary last night, the table was beautifully decorated with rose petals and the waiter did a champagne toast with us which was fantastic and unexpected+++!! unfortunately the table was close to the kitchen and these reservations were made months ago kind of put me off a little bit and the waiter was quiet could not hear the specials although the room was totally packed so I'll give him that he tried...food was excellent and over the top! gluten free flourless cake was to die for! Took a long time to order he gave us like a half an hour to peruse the menu did not need that much time and knowing I'm gluten free I mean the Bread Basket that's great for everybody else but not not so much me maybe they could offer us wheat free fabatics a cheese plate or something!

A standard in the business. Always first class. No complaints about the food or service. I'd give it 5 stars if they could figure out how to make it affordable. This is a special event kinda place for most people, not a regular spot purely due to price. Porterhouse steak should be on your bucket list. I liked the original location better. New location has valet only.

We had Maura as a waitress and she was awesome!! Food was outstanding as well. However, when we were on our way out my partner went to the bar to get change for the waitress (she forgot to put on her mask by ACCIDENT) and the waiter behind us followed her and told the bartender not to give her any change until she puts on a mask and was extremely rude about it. There were 3 other people in the hallway with no mask on and also someone standing and chatting at the bar with no mask on as well. I don t think it was right that he only spoke to her that way and not the person standing right next to her! Maybe it s because she is black maybe not but it was very very ignorant and made me extremely upset. Spent over $200 will not be back ..

INCREDIBLE experience! Amazing meal in the quiet back room with a wonderful server, Nathaniel. Honestly, one of the best meals I've ever had. The Kona rub on literally any steak is to die for. My friend had the lobster bisque with a tableside swirl of sherry and we all tried a bite and loved it. Calamari didn't last more than 5 minutes it was so tasty and of course the mashed potatoes are perfect. Pricey, but worth it!

We were there last night in a party of 11 for a surprise birthday dinner. Our table wasn't ready for 20 minutes and we were actually only seated once we walked ourselves to the table after we became concerned about the surprise being ruined when the guest of honor arrived and we were all still waiting in the lobby with our table decorations in a box, etc. Hostesses were rude and could not care less. Our waiter was a generally nice person but seemed very overwhelmed with our large party. He knocked drinks over and took away unfinished (expensive) cocktails without asking...he seemed obsessed with our water glasses and having too many on the table yet ignored the empty dishes piling up. For what the drinks in there cost, our spilled and removed drinks should have been replaced. When we moved to the bar for one last round, my martini glass had a decent sized glass piece missing with a very jagged edge. I brought it to the bar and was brought a new one, with apologies, ..but just not the feel of how a place with such high prices and seemingly high standards should treat their customers. Atmosphere is quite scenic, but loud and the waitstaff rushing by constantly made it feel very chaotic to me. I was nearly run over by a hostess/server carrying plates ~ she apologized, but it felt like you were in their way all of the time. The ONLY saving grace for me was the food, which was truly amazing. Despite its lengthy tenure in Providence, this place has the feel of a frenzied steakhouse that just opened its doors to me and it could probably benefit from some customer service training as well, in my view.

Restaurant week in Providence. Great ambience, top quality waiter. Up graded the filet mignon to add shrimp and upgraded to lobster bisque for soup. Added 15 to the restaurant week prix fixe but was fantastic, still a bargain. Wines by the glass were pricey but excellent, had a Sonoma zinfendel recommended by the waiter. Service was impeccable and dessert was tasty. In all, a full feast. Valet parking was crowded and a pain on arrival but waiter knew enough to take the ticket as we were finishing up so car would be at the door when we finished. Eating without the valet is a pain so just budget a tip into the night. All in all, well done, bravo.

Took my family out for an annual dinner. This is our 2nd time at the restaurant. 1st time was amazing and perfect. 2nd time not so much, unfortunately our waitress was overwhelmed, she had to many tables to attend to which we had to wait to order our entrees and desserts. There was a significant delay and u could tell her attention was split and not attentive to our needs

The pasta we ordered for our 3 year old niece needed to go back because is was undercooked.

The shrimp appetizer was unflavorful.

Don't know what happened this time around and why the experience was subpar, however I plan on coming back next year around new year's and giving the restaurant another chance. Have high hopes! :)

The wagyu beef was perfect although and overall good quality food.

As a a recommendation there should be an adjustment of the ratio of # of tables assigned to a waitress.
