Great food at reasonable prices. Amazing atmosphere. Everything was well organised. Amazing place. Great sitting section. Presentation of food was good.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nicer since they moved it however the food (although delicious) seems to be missing something since the move. My wife and I like the tables by the windows, we were once seated by the entrance to the kitchen and moved (too loud). I have always liked the professionalism of the waiters, great drinks and extensive wine selection. Our clam chowder was a little bland this last trip, we have always enjoyed the shrimp cocktail. Overall still an excellent dining choice.

Great dinning experience! A little expensive though.

Bone in filet to die for great wine scallops were a10 dessert was on spot great time with old friends nice walk downtown

Fantastic food. My mom really enjoyed her 74th birthday. Thank you to Chris Phillip's the manager. Great guy. Makes fantastic food with excellent food and customer service. Nevermind 5 stars ten stars.

Trust me you don't want to miss eating at capital grill!!! Their chef is dedicated to you eating his very best!! Please try the mashed potato's. Yum,yum, yum. I believe the potato's came from the garden of Eden!

50 dollars for an 8 dollar bottle of wine.. 60 dollar steak was no big deal.

I have not been since they changed locations, this was my first time since the move. The food is always amazing, and many of the staff has been there for years. So they know what they are doing, and always greet you when they see you... A great feeling. However, this time our server, whom was not a veteran, drop the ball on a few things this visit. Nice, but forgot a few things we asked for. Much so, we had to ask twice, then also ask the servers helper to get us what we needed. Maybe the server had an off night?

I was not impressed with our waiter ,he made us feel like we didn't belong there ,other people got there food before us and my steak was over done and wasn't aware all sides are sold separately , Unfortunately not a pleasant experience and overpriced for what you get

Delicious food. The pricing is annoying because none of the entrees come with a side dishes making the meal way more expensive than it should be.

Always terrific. One of the ONLY fine dining establishments in the city. Bone in fillet, with twin poached lobster tails, and cant forget the lardons

Was taken here by a vendor and the experience was very interesting. There was a lobster centerpiece that was a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. I had a very nice steak but I admit that it was not the best I have ever had. I would go back to try a few different cuts of meat but the prices are a bit crazy. Very premium for that you get but the experience is overwhelmingly a 10/10.

summer outdoor seating is great by the water, bar room is a nice fun place to have a drink and food.

Fantastic dining experience! Staff was impeccable from wine knowledge, food knowledge to service and friendliness. Meals were exceptional! Everything done to perfection. Well definitely be back when we visit again from Toronto!

Unfortunately, unless one is a "regular" the service is not as good as it was at the bar when the Capital Grille was across the street in Providence. I would have loved another glass of wine but after waiting a good 20-25 minutes for the bartenders to check on me, i had to leave. I used to bartend and one can chit chat with their loyal customers while scanning the bar to service new customers who might become regulars themselves. This is the 3rd time this happened to me. Too many awsome restaurants for this bad service.

Great atmosphere! The server was great :) He did forget my lobster tail but I did not care because everything was perfect! & he was nice enough to not add it on the bill which I would ve paid for because it was one of the best dining experiences ever!!! Great job! The food is 5 stars! I went during restaurant week! Great service from everyone!

I was more impressed the first time I was there, I think the service is netter than the food and the food is not bad but it cooul be better, I think thay are a little over priced, you can get the same quality or better at that price somewhere else, it's the service where they're good

Had dinner last night in their outdoor seating area. Our table was 2 feet away from their outdoor smoking area with many people smoking. Host never mentioned this. Completely ruined our meal and experience. How's that for atmosphere? What year is this? For the pricepoint I wouldn't expect this issue. Have to research the law on this.

Waited 1h20min to be seated when our company had their Christmas party there and had reservations made. Waited dropped utensils on people and food from our plates on to the floor. Would've had a better experience at the local Burger King.

This Capital Grille in Providence was always one of the highlights of my trips to Rhode Island. A true dining experience. From the ambiance, outstanding friendly service, menu selection, to and through the consistently high quality meal...always superb, always memorable!

By far the best restaurant. The service and food are always great.

I ordered curbside pickup and it was amazing. I called when I got there and they immediately brought out my food. The mini tenderloin burgers were great and loved the aioli and mushrooms they put with the burgers. There was a generous serving of truffle fries and the roast chicken breast was cooked to perfection . The calamari was a tiny touch oily (one of the photos shows the oil pooling in the bottom of the takeout container) and the New England style chowder was subtle to the point of being a bit bland and not the burst of deep boiled ocean creatures flavor you d expect of that kind of chowder. I love how much they ve tried to replicate traditional silverware for takeout, throwing in elegant wrapped silver plastic flatware. This is totally special date night plastic flatware!

Food and service are great. But if you want to use the accessible door (42 St and LEX NYC)you need to enter the regular door to get them to open the ADA Door. If I could do this I would.

Great atmosphere and great service. The waitress seemed genuine and was very helpful while giving information on the meals. Our first round of drinks were an old fashioned and a dirty martini with blow cheese stuffed olives, then we got an "in fashioned" and a berry champagne drink, all the drinks were fantastic and generous concerning liquor but not overpowering. For appetizers we started out with the tuna tartar which was good but not wow worthy, and we also got oysters. My only gripe with the oysters was that they were overpriced and had broken shells in them. I feel if you're going to pay over $3 per oyster then I shouldn't have to spit out shells. The main courses that we choose were dry aged NY strip and the dry aged peppered strip with courvoisier cream. They were both flavorful but were slightly overcooked. The dessert was fantastic! I got the brulee styled cheesecake. All in all I will definitely be going back to drive deeper in the menu you should know that this place is not cheap but you do get what your pay for! The bill came up to $259 got two people. Oh! There's parking in the same building as the restaurant and they validate as well.

Visited Capital Grill last night for a birthday celebration - was excellent from beginning to end. Ken was our waiter - the best - no pressure , great service - special requests he makes it happen. Highly recommend and if you are lucky enough to have Ken you will not be disappointed.

Good experience, was sceptical at first due to their high rate Caucasian employees. Fortunately my waiter didn't judge and my cousin and I had a smooth experience.

Went there for my anniversary and they made it such a great experience. Steaks were delish and was worth the expense. Highly recommend.

The only thing I didn't like about this place is the the tv they had playing a fire place animation from YouTube which showed adds.

feels a little crowded tables are close together, some of the food is really good, & some is just ok, a little spendy for what you get.

It is my new favorite place, I was with my friend and we had a late lunch and made friends with the bartenders and the sommelier. I can't say enough but I can't wait to go back.

Sit in the bar area if you didn't reserve a table. On NYE, me and partner walked in off the street and sat right down in a comfortable, roomy booth. The lobster mac appetizer was large enough for a main course, and it was DELICIOUS! So good, i took another order home with me. Great service as well.

Definitely overpriced, but the quality is a step up from anything else you'll get in Providence. Service was great, atmosphere was top notch. Amazing steak and every side was exceptional.

Went during restaurante week and absolutely loved the food. Best steak I've ever had. Done perfectly and great presentation!

It's always fantastic there and surprisingly I have so they probably have the best calamari in the city of Italian people and restaurants they probably have the best calamari everything else is fantastic but the calamari is remarkable and memorable

I have been taking clients to this location for 15 years and the only issue I ever had was not making a reservation during the Holiday season. The waitstaff are professionals and the quality of food is consistently excellent. Looking forward to check out the new location!

My son took me for the first time today to celebrate my 50th birthday. He loves it here and wanted to share the experience with me. Mind you, I can be hard to please. But he was right. Every bite was amazing including my grapefruit soda!
