Food bank on site, call to make an appointment first. Otherwise they'll turn you away. The appointments have always been in a very timely manner from what I've experienced.

They help people in need, and helped me pay past due electric bill. Have a decent food bank. Clothing & household items for those in need.
Also give good advise on where to go if they don't offer what you are looking for help with.

This is a awsome place so very helpful, just kinda sucks that if u aint in Jeffco County they only help one time..

I understand that if you need help this is the place to go. Constantly supplied with all sorts of things.

Most of the stuff I received was expired and not for consumption. Watch the expiration dates, and discoloration , smell if you have to.I had to throw out a lot of stuff because I did not. The volunteers are nice though.

They gave me a microwave, clothing, and tuns of food!

Great organization, offering a hand up, not a hand out!! They get all of my gently used clothing and household items.

If you need help, in any way, these people are there for you. Genuinely caring and empathetic. They won't fix your issue but they will show you how you can do it and stand with you. You aren't alone anymore.

I was dropping off some donated food they seem to make it real easy to drop off or pick up items for anyone

These places are a joke! They don't help you with anything they never answer the phone or return your call. And when u go in there's no help!

Get plenty of services as feel safe there restroom are not only clean but safe.

They've helped my family and I when we moved into Lakewood. Love that we can pick food we'd eat and not wasted.

Don't know what I'd do without them sometimes. Great people doing a great job with what they have to offer.

Most employees are happy to help and offer resources. The action center offers a clothing bank with some household items depending on what has been donated. They offer a food bank where you choose the items you can use so you don't end up with food that won't be used! They also offer senior food commodities! You must now make an appointment for most services

Very helpful, but due to the volume of people needing help, it took a long time.

The Action Center helps so many people. It is such a pleasure to help support them. We make favor bags on Valentine's day, Halloween and Christmas for the kids. They hope to open a shelter this year.

Wonderful place be prepared to wait. The can't help 100+ people at the same time. You will have to wait your turn.

There is a very sly woman works at food bank, Judi or jodi? She s very rude about 70 years old cross necklace that seems very Christian to me, I won't rate this two faced woman, be aware she ruined my day! She said she is taking home food, she threatened me to get rotten and rancid food for her own pockets, The actual government help is going into her & their pocket? Volunteers should use another food bank, if volunteers playing game on people to make not to take food and stuff for their own pockets? Only solution is volunteers shouldn't use where they work at, volunteers playing game on people to scare them to take moldy and spoiled food to take what she wants. Grandma grows, not to let people have moldy and spoiled food to get sick for your own, it's not late to learn a lesson to help people not to get sick, spoiled rotten food. Shame on you! Government thinks of it twice to threaten people to spread moldy spoiled food to make people sick? Government fund for staff at the action center and volunteers? People take their left over moldy, rotten, rancid and spoiled foods that's for consumption for animal? Do they volunteering at there to steal from there? Pack of rats!

I have been to many foodbanks and this one by far is the best! The people (volunteers) are so nice and helpful and actually treat u like a person. Nobody puts u down or makes u feel bad for needing things. The new building is really nice and very organized too. They give u food that isnt moldy and that u can actually use to feed your kids other than canned beets or pate'. I am very thankful for the help they have given me and my family during this hard time in our life.

All my clothing and household goods are donated here. Unlike Goodwill, there is no CEO making a fast salary. Donations are free to those that need them.

Ends can be a challenge the action center provides a hand up to those in need from hosting the best food bank I have seen where the client can go threw and choose qaulity items that provide better nutritional products that would be unattainable to most in need .it's a one stop n shop center also providing clothes house hold items a computer lab I.D. voucher assistance with social services and much more .it a single and family friendly atmosphere. But get this no waiting you call for appointment which make it easy because you choose the time so it works for you . I love the action center. met This place a god send in today world making

They load you up with food. You'll need a big car with room, or a truck. They also have a clothing bank, and household items.
You will need a reservation as of recently. They have emergency weather housing, rent assistance, and counseling. Go, take the kids, (but when you do, take thier birth certs. You'll need them to get food for the kids.

Waste time called two days in a row for an appointment only to hear we're booked , food is a waste half the stuff I got was already bad or went bad within two days waste of time I got more in a food box from David Clifton ministries I'm sure specific people have no problem getting an appointment everyday

This place has a variety of awesome resources available. I've used the food bank and utilities assistance.
